Chapter 2: 1/3 - For Her

24TH OF AUGUST

From the cold breeze of December,

And the hot air of May.

To the solstice and equinox,

And August's rainy days.

The world celebrates the rarest phenomenon,

The moment when the lone wolf talks to the moon.

On the 24th of August.

The compatibility is a perfect block on the jigsaw,

That intertwined like a flawless puzzle,

She held the wildest known blizzard,

Where others are just a drizzle.

She changes every single sprout,

To a flower in full bloom,

I want to but I can no longer hold my mouth,

So, I whisper to the moon.

On the 24th of August.

Without any hesitation,

Like a win on a lottery.

She smiles the sweetest,

Waving back at me.

Though I was just played by my imagination,

Because messages don't move,

But every word of our invisible conversation,

Is dancing on my heart's groove.

Alas, the greatest paths where crossed,

And the roads of the present are established.

Towards the plain fields of the horizon,

Our future humbly awaits.

We get lost to the forest of love,

And hoping to find the faith in savannah.

Through the grassy hills of happiness,

Beyond the blissful cliffs of forever.

The day I love the most.

24th of August.

AURORA BOREALIS

She rules the northern skies with the ashes of her light,

Like a dancing wave on heaven's floor.

There she sways back and forth.

In a party of vibrant colors.

Above the caress of the cold winter wind,

She prevails every circumstance,

Hides in the day and change the night,

She's stardust making chances.

The world looked upon her,

Adoring her glamourous beauty.

She's one-of-a-kind and rare to find,

She transforms every city.

She creates a bright light on the north,

The world calls it Polaris,

Where navigator always seek to find,

In the search for her surprise gifts.

But northern lights are ain't a star but mere live dust of light,

The one that you can find on a lady's golden sight.

HOW MUCH THEE EXIST

Do you ever know how much you exist?

In other people's life.

We tend to show part of our selves,

But it always matters what you hide.

I just want you to be happy,

I want nothing more.

To cast a smile in your face,

That's my ultimate goal.

You were born,

For me to admire.

You crossed my path,

And now, it burns fire.

I know I'm a little bit taller,

But I look up at you.

In my life, you exist more than heavens,

Or skies turning light blue.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

SILENCE

Have you ever listen to the silence?

And the tingling noise that tells?

Or the unspoken voice that lingers,

To the fiery feelings that you feel.

It whispers words to your heart,

If you just care to listen.

"We are all worth to be love"

By someone saw our meaning.

If they are the one,

They don't measure love.

For love is something infinite,

And fly freely as a dove.

Thousand miles, hundred or feet away,

Maybe someone out there is listening.

Under the earsplitting voice of the silence,

As both of you are wondering.

Through the silence, you whisper,

Or through the ring, you listen.

When will you remember?

That we did the same thing.

BATTLE OF THE BANDS

Through the deepest gleeful night,

On the battlefield of songs and beats.

Everybody is fancied on the Instrument's delight.

Also by the charming voice that feats.

The band catches the audience,

You catch my eyes.

As if where staring amidst space and time.

The beats of the drum synchronize the pump on my veins,

Looking at you in the corner makes me feel insane.

Immeasurable is my happiness flooding on my heart,

I want to talk to you but I don't know where to start.

So I dissipate.

Like a shadow lurking in the dark.

Watching every step that creates a spark.

There, on the war of cheerful songs and chaotic atmosphere,

Sits a queen that holds the peaceful note that changes everywhere.

They are singing the same song in harmony,

I am chanting different song - your name.

As my melody.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

EVERY LITTLE THINGS

You are.

You are everywhere.

You are here, forever.

My dear.

Planets and Galaxies,

Mountains and seas,

Dusts and lilies,

Honeys and bees.

You are everything that is seen and unseen my love.

Don't you remember?

You lose your worth?

I say,

You're not a stranger.

Not in me.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

PLAYWRIGHT

What if I write you as a play?

And I'll start with: "On the land far and faraway"

Would you watch the theater and wonder?

That in the story it is you the one's that linger?

And so, you'll realize,

It is your simple life.

A mere student on the life's stage,

Battling the invisible dangers that engage.

Every sweep of the tall curtains,

Is the shift from your point of view.

Amidst the pits on unknown terrains,

A burden that no one ever knew.

Would you stand your ground?

Raise your feet up and follow no crowd?

Royal blood on the oculus of tragedy,

The expert of the highways of comedy.

Wonder how the monologue work?

It is when you argue with life,

Swimming upstream against the river flows,

Then vow a journey to the starless night,

The peak of the complexity is the climax of your dreams,

And as you accept the reality, the resolution comes within.

Because in life, we play different roles,

And it is you who knows the script,

I hope you acted the scenes right,

Before you reach the tip.

"The end"

12 A.M

She's a complex language,

In simple calligraphy,

She's more than words,

Adorned by a genuine apostrophe.

She's neither lines, segments, geometry,

Nor just alphabetical letters from A to Z.

She's rare and unique and suspends uncommonly,

If people are pendants, she's a medallion in nobility.

She's perfection and reality.

She's prose, poem, and poetry.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

COSMIC BALLAD

She wears the galaxy,

Like a blanket of riddles,

Its stars adorned like blinking fireflies,

Stolen from the quasar's light.

Obsidian ink is behind the sparkling jewels,

Enchanting on blind's eyes.

The distant whispers of the singing constellations,

Are filled through her ears tonight.

Digesting the moonlight's magic,

And charming golden fumes,

With arrays of rainbows,

And stunning interstellar's dune.

She is the beauty of the night.

In the ballad of cosmological delight.

THINK YOU KNOW HER?

Don't you ever think you know her,

For she knows everything.

She tamed the serpent world that hides,

And grows deep within.

You've never walked to her garden,

And rivers of ruby veins.

Or climb to her mountain skull,

And fly over her brain.

Never pick a flower and let her see you've broke,

Because tyranny is her law and she does as she spoke.

She seldom allows people to wander on her land,

Especially to the distant castle,

For only someone worthy can hold her hand,

And possess valuable treasure.

The terrain was the heart,

And its chambers are the castle.

One's you reach that place,

You still have to win the final battle.

It is to decipher the labyrinth of her flaws,

And swim the ocean of her craziness.

Still, those have mysteries,

That needs complex consciousness.

She's a mantle of riddles and tongue twisters,

A flower that blooms in a blue moon.

If you think her winter is too cold,

Then you don't deserve her bright season.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

HELIOPHILIA

On nature's wardrobe,

Hanged is the brightest gown.

Wove by the flickering lights of stars,

Forged by the rays of the sun.

On the bright calm morning, she's there,

Gleaming through the earth.

As light shove the darkness,

And every demon that lurks.

She walks wearing these precious garments,

All the way through.

As though a walking angel,

That cuts the world into two.

86 400 seconds under the phases called night and day,

The world takes her for granted but she's always there to stay.

I looked at her and wander back and forth,

"She's so valuable but the world forgets her worth."

When will they saw the beauty on her outline?

When the night lives and the sun refuse to shine?

I studied her and burned my eyes,

Yet, I realized.

It's better to be blind than to see you cry.

ODE TO C

Gratified is the sun beaming at thee,

Lovely is the night as stars shine.

Cheery is the meadows and green tree,

Wishing that destiny will be mine.

Thy path is diamonds and crystals,

As ornaments laid bare.

Making way under thy footprints,

Assuring that obstacles are clear.

Serene is the mind when in thoughts of thee,

Thou art the truth that set me free.

Blissful is the world in thy presence,

If life is chaos, thou art the silence.

Keeper of the beauty,

Kindness at heart.

We are the beginning,

That never step to start.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

ANGELS AND DEMONS

Heaven and hell,

Fires and ray.

Dark and light,

Rainy nights and sunny days.

Perfect asymmetry,

A parallel of the universe,

Fire and ice,

Words and verse.

Yin and yang,

Tooth and fang.

Alpha and Omega,

Beginning and end.

Blood and water,

Broke and mend.

We are different in many aspects of our picture,

We are twisted but we can shape our future.

Both have wings but neither is the same,

One is soft 'n splendid the other is insane.

One has a horn, other has a halo.

One is a sad song, other is a cheerful crescendo.

Like magnets that play a role to the other,

Or the earth dances with the moon,

We are connected through different worlds.

As an angel and a demon.

RANDOM THOUGHT

I am staring through the earthly star,

Sitting from afar.

In a sudden dread of uncertainty,

Someone ask me:

"Of all the things in the world,

Why her?"

I smile and replied.

"I don't know. She just moves me; the way did the gravity."

-Jean O'Leonhart-

BEST THINGS

Someday. Somewhere. Sometime.

You'll meet someone who will know your worth,

Someone who will accept your flaws,

Someone who floods you with comfort.

The one that accompanies you in times of uncertainty,

The one on your side when doing something of stupidity.

The one that cries when you cry.

The one laugh when it's hard to try.

That someone is a question mark,

A test without an answer.

Only one is worth to find,

To decode the ones impossible to decipher.

That person will eventually come,

If one can wait,

Not mere wasting time,

But investing in something great.

Why go to temporary,

When one can wait for the permanent?

Yes, patience is necessary,

Until you reach the end.

Yes, someone will come,

On days you have nothing.

And I assure that someone will be your

"The Best thing happened".

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

WORTH

What is love if there's no pain?

What are the seasons without rain?

Your worth is more than a diamond,

Never deserves to be thrown.

Once in life, we encounter the coldest winter,

And we found our self drowning in tears,

Maybe because we feel we didn't matter,

Or maybe we yell words no one can hear.

You are a precious gem,

You ain't deserve to be unloved.

Throwing you away is a great loss,

Like a wingless dove.

Our story of life is a gamble of love,

We take a risk for someone we didn't know would last.

Like the feelings and emotions we have.

If love will quickly fade, then that's only lust.

I tell you, love is when someone accepts you unconditionally,

That would stay with you in times of adversity.

Scarcity.

Negativity.

Uncertainty.

It is when someone saw who you truly are.

We matter,

All of us are.

We deserve to feel our worth,

Even if we have scars.

We are flawed and sinners and twisted through time,

But someone will value our worth more than this rhyme.

They saw you as garbage sitting on a bin,

I saw you as a treasure standing like a queen.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

SOME-OTHER ONE

Someone will be the reason of your agony,

Someone that was once used to make you happy.

Someone will tear you apart.

Someone will come that you'll wish it never starts.

Someone will lose your trust,

Someone will make you cry.

Someone will take you for granted,

Someone will cut the tie.

Someone will reject you,

Someone will set you aside,

Someone will break you,

Someone will leave you behind.

But as someone was destroying your world,

That other on the other side creates,

That other one cast curves on your face

While someone disintegrates.

That other one saw the diamonds lurking in your eyes,

While someone always lies.

That other one's happiness is to make you happy,

While someone's happiness makes you cry.

That other one is not blind as he saw who you are,

While someone did nothing to your heart but to carve a scar.

While someone never saw your worth as a lady,

That other one offers his life just to feel you are worthy.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

DEAR

You are the only person in the world I know,

The most and above things.

Loveliest.

Dearest.

Most incredulously sophisticating.

Stands above everything.

Still that is an understatement.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

TWILIGHT

You are the boundaries between light and day,

The settling sun running across mountains.

The earnest scenery that the world pray,

The healer of time and tidal pain.

Breeze calms its forceful knots,

Creating little ripples on the surface of the seas,

Nature sways the motion of the wind,

Flowers dance as well as trees.

The surrounding seems to disagree,

Your resting is a woeful peace.

Your goodbye is hard to comprehend,

Yet, so easily pleased.

Serene is the scene as you fade in view,

The world waits in the darkness of your tomorrow's something new.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

ARCHEOLOGIST

He wanders.

Wondering where the wind will take him.

He dug and dug never knowing what he's digging.

All the things he knows is that he was about to find,

The priceless fossil that lurks before time.

Shaking away the sweat of the deep pit,

He knows it doesn't matter since he's almost at the tip.

And then the hard pound reverberates to the surrounding,

So hard as if he hits something.

He found it.

The greatest historical treasure only a few ever found,

He studied it for a minute, an hour or even days - astound.

He can't believe what he's seeing,

He felt in loved.

To the precious Jewel.

It's you, my love.

You are the fossils and remnants of the time,

When angels wander the earth it's already the sign.

He is an archeologist and she is his treasure.

And the older she gets the more he loves her.

C IS FOR CORAZON

On the threshold of wildest beats and atmospheric bliss,

Through the welkins ceiling and splendor kiss.

The earsplitting noise of gleeful apocalypse,

And the endless rain of vibrant confetti's mess.

Behold the phalanx of the glamourous crowd,

Hailing over every corner's inch.

The harmonious melody and sweet ballet sound,

Synchronizing a blink of a person's lids.

There, on the battlefield of beauty and poise,

My ears contained nothing but noise.

There, I saw not the soldiers nor the contestant's outline.

But a simple, kindness at heart that lurks beyond time.

Her smile cheers like a chime of a golden ballad,

Embedded in the innocent visage that the world ever had.

Her soft cheeks are clouds that kneeled the ground,

A precious treasure that only worthy can found.

The sway of her hair is the waltz of the serene seas,

The dance of the nature and motion of the redwood trees.

The laugh of joyful giggles that thrust through her rosy lips,

Are soft crescendos where happiness dips.

The noise vanished as if I was wearing an unseen muff,

The ticking clock froze and everything stops.

They are hailing, calling their candidate's name,

My corazòn is in felicity by your name's sweet refrain.

I felt proud,

Not looking at the stage but on the crowd.

They are staring at them,

All the way through,

My vision never shifted,

Beyond the crowd,

I was looking at you.

WRITE 'N READ

Today, I write.

Tomorrow, I read.

Reading this is like writing our story,

Concealed through the endless pages of poetry.

Today, I write.

Tomorrow, I read.

The stroke of the quill on the paper,

Is another flip of pages and chapter.

Today, I write.

Tomorrow, I read.

Today, I love.

So tomorrow won't bleed.

20 lines of Gratitude

1. I look at her eyes and the sparkle it cast.

2. She has the smile and curves that last.

3. The way she looked at me I was aghast.

4. She has the gravity that pulls me in thrust.

5. Her voice is astounding like a magical symphony.

6. Her hair is dancing in the slowest melody.

7. She is the girl, a well-refined lady.

8. A star in a million that always haunt me.

9. The way she walks, exquisiteness follows.

10. The way she talks motivates a fellow.

11. On the table in the house of Jollibee.

12. She shows me a glimpse of what I want to see.

13. There is her wondrous smile again.

14. It melts me in disguise.

15. Not only on her rosy lips.

16. But also in her beaming eyes.

17. We talk, forgetting about the world us.

18. As if we dined through void and spaces.

19. On the table, we froze the time.

20. On each eye, we cast our gazes.

YOUR DREAM; MY HAPPINESS

She spread her arms.

Looking through space.

Wishing she could fly.

Under the solemn grace.

Like a free bird towards the vast skies,

But by gravity on land, she creates ties.

And then an angel came and cut his wings,

For this little girl to fly and fulfill her dreams.

And so she ascends towards the gates of heaven.

Seeing her happy is what I always wanted to happen.

There she is beaming on the night sky,

Under the name of Andromeda.

But on the day she wanders as a student,

In my heart, a sweet harmonica.

GLASS

Someone told me we're all made of glass,

I know somehow it's true.

That we are all fragile things,

That will easily break in two.

Someone will come to our lives,

And cracked our crystal heart.

Never knowing our value,

All wanted to tear us apart.

But someone will also come,

And mend these crack together.

Knows what Kintsugi is,

And value each crack forever.

For the past is part of you,

And history can't be changed,

But we can begin in the present,

For the future's beautiful end.

I saw this glass and it is made of you.

So, I ought to handle you with care,

Because we are all fragile right?

And we deserved to be cared.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

WOLF

She's made of storm cells,

With a wild savage heart.

But she's a good pretender,

Hiding behind a mask.

Nothing can read her emotions,

As driven by the night.

You better watch your step,

And curse the fading light.

Her omnibus eyes can see the lingering hatred,

Her beautiful smiles can destroy a thousand hearts,

She can smell the flaws miles away,

If you wish to pretend, better did it more than she says.

She can be your friend,

Or even your worst enemy.

Her nature is to be kind,

But never trifle her,

For she will be the most relentless creature,

You will ever see.

Never underestimate her strength

For you can't always assume.

You better be ready,

When she starts to howl the moon.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

PAUSE

Just in a moment.

Can we freeze time?

I want to study you,

Every inch of your outline.

On my eyes, I behold the perfection,

Gleaming everything around.

As if I am staring a celestial,

In front of the starry crowd.

I can do this all day, all week and years,

Just staring at you in smiles.

You shake away everything I fear,

You moved me a thousand miles.

You build my confidence,

Housed me in eternal bliss.

You shake away my sadness,

And every anxiety's kiss.

I wish I also did the same to you,

For you, I always look high,

You are beyond satisfaction,

Now, we can resume the time.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

CLIFF

We were never really ready,

Climbing the cliffs of love.

And you were afraid of heights,

Like a newborn dove.

So, I'll stay where you are,

Since climbing is tough.

It is never really easy,

To reach towards the top.

Oceans were tossed,

Mountains leap.

He hopes she knows,

That his love for her is deep.

Up above the sky,

He always looked up.

Until this little dove learns to fly,

So they can climb up.

Above, we'll witness the best of the view,

But it's not worthy without you.

WITHOUT WAX

Over the night skies and endless horizon,

Through the green fields under the stars in billion.

I want to hold your hand above this misty hill,

Look at you in the eyes while standing still.

As the breeze caressed our skin in the serene melody,

I want to slow dance with you in harmony.

That through the light of the stars,

And the blood on my veins.

One thing only lingers,

It's your one and only name.

We look together in the eyes and study the analogy,

On the music's sweet refrain.

We know the world knows what we're hiding,

And I hope we feel the same.

The sway of our brows,

Is a step to our vows.

Every time I saw you,

I feel like gravity no longer held.

As if I am floating through the ninth cloud,

Knocking on your heaven's gate.

I can't describe what I supposed to feel,

You are more than those words I can't tell.

The moment the symphony stops,

We'll hold our hand sitting on the ground,

Listening on the cricket's song,

Watching everything around.

Together with a cheery sensation,

Laughing on a deep conversation.

-Jean O'Leonhart-

*****

EVERY

Every mind is a thunderstorm,

Every heart is galaxy.

Each souls are mirrors of the night sky,

Bounded by gravity.

Each blood is a current,

Every emotions are thunderbolt.

Your smile is a lightning,

Your eyes has a spark I longed to behold.

HIDE AND SEEK

When we were young,

We play a game that we like.

Counting from one to ten,

We ought ourselves to hide.

Through the span of numerals,

We conceal ourselves beyond a secluded prison,

Away from the eyes of the seeker,

Hidden like an unseen chameleon.

We found ourselves delight while we are hidden,

As if the world celebrates while were gone.

So, until now we play hide and seek,

For us, in this world, to outrun.

We hide in the deepest abyss of our mind,

Wishing no one can find,

That no one can ever fully understand,

And no one can ever climb.

Then, you start to feel lonely, gloomy and sad,

Because you think no one will ever find and this feels so bad.

But as the sun always set and rise,

Someone will find a way.

The one who knows where you are,

Someone would make you okay.

He will open your heart and lead the prison break,

Someone that knows you're worthy to find while playing hide and seek.

SOMETHING IN YOU

You held a light in your eyes even the stars envied.

You possessed magic in your smiles even witches feared.

You sing a greatest song that only my heart can hear.

Your charm enchants the foggy world and makes everything so clear.

I JUST WANT TO ADMIRE

I don't think it's necessary,

But I always care.

I never forced my mind,

But you are still there.

I don't need to say it to you,

For actions speaks louder.

When my mouth can't utter words,

My heart will be the one that'll whisper.

I don't want to make you cry,

Nor do bad things in your life.

I just want to see you smile,

That no one ever had.

If you're afraid, I'll help you shake away your fears,

In your success, I'll be the one that cheers.

Just call me through distance I can hear,

If you feel sad, let me be the one that makes you sneer.

I don't want to lose you,

For jewels are so precious.

I just want to admire you.

I hope you know I'm serious.

TALKING TO AN ANGEL

I send a message to an angel,

Hoping she'll reply.

I just want to know heaven is real,

Because I saw it in her eyes.

Moments later I receive a combination of words,

A constellation of gratitude.

Once I thought angels are rude,

But I think I should elude.

Then, I start to believe angels are not bad,

As I think I know.

They keep benevolence as their feathers,

And mercy on their brows.

We exchange words like bullets flying on air,

There, I realize that heaven was indeed real.

At that moment, the time refuse to move,

As I saw the angel walk along with the celestial groove.

We talk like we know each other for years,

That you were born to tell stories and I was born to hear.

I'm crazy. She's happy,

I felt something new.

I know this is against the law,

But I fell in love with you.

I can't tell it to the angel,

I hope she reads my mind.

The way she reads the world,

The way she moved mine.

ART

She's the Mona Liza,

My name is Leonardo,

She is the melody,

I am Vincenzo.

She's Pietà,

I am Michelangelo.

She's the Birth of Venus,

I am Sandro.

She is Beatrice,

I am Dante.

She is the Ecstasy of St. Theresa,

I am Bernini.

She's the greatest artwork,

More than an average girl.

I am the clam,

And she is my one and only pearl.

TEMPLAR

I'll never get tired of praising you,

As words flow like a river.

You're the ocean in my world,

In words, you are the letter.

It bleeds my heart hearing the story of your scar,

Yet, at the same, I was amazed because you are truly a star.

You survive every trial that life throws at you,

But there still a lot of things you encounter I didn't know.

So, I praise thee as you are a Templar knight,

A warrior of your life's battle - the keeper of the light.

Long ago, you engage war all alone the field,

Today, you will have a company as I offer myself - a friend.

I will lend my helping hand to the burdens you have inside,

I know I'm no wizard but I can feel what you hide.

Today as I write, this poem is a tribute,

That you are the greatest warrior,

I believe and I salute.

CHOOSE

Someone will come to our life.

And we have to choose.

Life is a multiple of multiple-choice,

And we ought to pick close.

Study every inch of the skin,

As well as the soul.

For beasts and demons conceals,

Under a deceiving shawl.

Waiting for the right moment,

When to mercilessly attack.

Makes you fall in deep,

But then left without a track.

This will come to reality,

When our choices are poor.

And you have to study every single item,

Because it's difficult to know which heart is pure.

NUBIVAGANT

The cloud is here and we are about to take off,

Fasten your seatbelt because the skyline is a long road.

And we will go to the place where the wind will take us,

Through the atmosphere in a light forceless gust.

We'll fly over to the sea and land,

Until somehow you'll truly understand.

That love travel's far away,

Even through the distant land.

If you sleep along the way,

My arms will be your bed.

I'll be the Pilot and the guard,

As soon when you're awake.

Believe me. Believe on the clouds.

We will reach the end,

Even we couldn't find.

And that's the love we are riding,

Towards the edge of infinity.

Behold your eyes to the scenery,

Relax. I have you.

You have me.

SLEEPING BEAUTY

Under the exquisite castle of golden walls,

On the chamber of crystals and diamonds.

There on the cloud-soft velvet bed,

Lies a resting orchard of the rosy head.

Every breath she takes is a gentle motion,

With the chest carefully rise and fall.

The shimmering obsidian hair held my vision,

That meticulously rest like a frozen waterfall.

As her thoughts wander away from reality,

The people call it dream.

Though being with her is a fantasy,

I think I saw her beam.

How I wish to the stars above,

To be her light through the night.

Or to the flying homing pigeon and a white dove,

To never lose sight.

As days passed by,

Are the days without the sun.

Since she held it under her lips,

The world refuses to have fun.

I walk beside her heavenly bed as I start to think,

That is life when would she wake up and her eyes began to blink.

Shall I blame the evil queen for cursing her like this?

I know she slept for years without a charming's kiss.

They call her Aurora. I call her Christine.

The sleeping beauty with eyes no one has ever seen.

She rests like a lifeless body on the sweet lively bed,

Waiting for someone not to wake her up but to sleep with her instead.

I smile looking at the concrete roof.

I think of her as I doze off.

SANDWICH

The sandwich is now served,

Consume it while it lasts.

For sandwich can only be perfect,

Once you learn to trust.

The two-crust is the two lovers,

And between is the seal.

For sandwich wanted us to see,

What is fake and what is real.

Love is the filling,

What we feel is how it taste.

If it is so damn sweet,

Then, it is perfectly baked.

Would you care to grab a bite?

To the sandwich that we made?

Bound by our heart's delight.

And destiny that perfectly meets.

MANGROVE TREE

It sits on the murky land,

Standing strong and brave.

Through the strongest gale,

Against the fearsome wind.

I glare on its branches,

Scanning every leaves.

And there I saw her outline,

Her hair on blowing breeze.

She sits humbly on the twig,

Waving in audacity.

Enchanted by her fig,

I was left in gaiety.

She sings a humming song,

That chants like a melody.

Everything starts to bow.

As earth glister in felicity.

And then I realize,

I am lured on I witness.

Until I discover,

That she's an enchantress.

I am standing feet away from her kingdom,

Wishing that someday she'll invite me to come.

But the reality is always contrary.

Away from what's true.

But this time I agree,

And I hope I can have you.

YOU ARE YOU

You are not the clothes you wear,

Nor the colors of your hair.

You are not the jewels on your ear,

Nor the colors of your nail.

You are not the way you live,

Nor the lifestyle you have.

You are not the goals you are force to achieve,

Nor the things you want to have.

You are the way you think.

And the book you read.

You are the way you sing,

And the way you speak.

You are the way you act your story,

And the deep holes on your cheeks,

You are the way you express your emotion,

And the way your eyes blink.

You are the way you dance,

And the sway of your hair.

You are the way you glance,

And the way you glare.

You are what defines your life,

You are all the things that you hide.

You are the angel that one used to call,

You are you.

Deep down on your soul.

CAN HE?

He walks past the boundaries,

Hoping he'll survive.

Of days on the desert hearts,

Good thing he's alive.

He is known as a keeper,

Loves every little thing he has.

He waters dead plants,

Even it doesn't grow back.

He is known for his patience,

Because he always waits.

Of someone he offers faith,

Of someone worth the wait.

Though the future is blurry,

But he stands still.

Even on the strongest typhoon,

Even the scorching hell.

He can wait.

Even if waiting takes forever,

He can wait.

For the love that always matters.

LADY IN GREEN

Lady in green,

The whisper of the howling wind praises thy name,

Along with the tranquil beats of precious rain.

The roses and daisies bow their head kissing the fortunate ground,

Where thy innocent foot takes steps under a sweet golden sound.

Everything halts; from the gloomy clouds to the blissful petrichor,

Studying thy flawless motion and glamorous demeanor.

Lady in green.

I am the shadow lurking beyond the corner of thy eyes,

Staring in bliss that lives in thy shining splendid smiles.

Thou passed never knowing my existence,

Leaving thy flabbergasting aureole that stuns my senses.

My eyes were melted and fixed on thy hair waving back at me,

Like a waving angel blessing the face of the earth,

The chuckles crafted by the jewels hiding behind thy lips of audacity,

Reverberates like a humming little bird.

Lady in green.

Thou roam like a queen in the castle of felicity,

Savoring the rivers of simplicity.

The secret keeper of my heart's long lost key,

The fascinating sunset one wished to see.

I wished thee knew before thee fade in my view,

Thou are the Lady In Green I wish I knew.

DAWN

As the night starts to fade in view,

We ought to look forward to something new.

Something that won't leave us in dismay,

Something that would wine us for another bright new day.

As the light starts to kiss our way,

I lie awake while thoughts interfere.

It's your mirage that dredges my day,

Leaving me suffocating in the blissful atmosphere.

The darkness surrenders,

The Plantae was again in glee.

Flowers happily sweep by the wind,

Birds are singing free.

The cold September morning,

Is neither always a thing,

But it is your outline,

And the magic that it brings.

FIRE

A lightning bolt starts a spark,

That grows like a flame.

You don't know where it starts,

You don't know who's to blame.

This fire becomes an inferno,

As it quickly grows.

Feeding on your anger,

And all the thing you lose.

You try to put this fire out,

But it's impossible to do.

Because your water is just a drop,

And honestly, you like it too.

All people are a fiery flame,

Yours is a different dire.

While others just a matchstick,

You're a forest fire.

Since it grows like beastly hell,

You think there's no other way to stop.

But there's someone will come to your life,

That knows how to handle you and urges it to drop.

MESSAGE ON A BOTTLE

There is a message on a bottle I throw at the sea,

Filled with emotions and feelings I offer for thee.

As it is carried by the waves and drifted to the shore,

It holds the love I felt like no one feel before.

On the glass-walled cylinder shining through the sand,

Conceals the words I wish I've spoken but I had not.

Life at sea is hard to live,

So, I just write my feelings instead.

I just hope you will find it and read,

For my soul to be peacefully freed.

And when you realize that I am long gone,

On that day I can no longer step on land.

I hope you'll remember the message in the bottle,

That once in my life, it is you that matter.

KAIROS

You are the sweet from the bitter,

The opposite I want.

The song I sing.

The words I chant.

You are the law I want to break,

The ocean I want to swim.

A poison I want to drink,

A kingdom I want to reclaim.

You are the rain's sweet refrain.

As well as the breeze's gentle kiss.

BOOK 'N MELODY

The world begins in echo,

You voice reverberates.

As we look at each eye,

Our heart syncs the beats.

Beneath the words we utter,

Is a song we want to sing.

We tend to say it loud,

Because of the feeling surge within.

You talk like a sweet piano,

On the center of the orchestra.

You are the crescendo's delight,

As well as the golden mantra.

I can only humbly smile,

And watch the way you talk.

As my mind begins to wonder:

"This lady is a human book."

If you are defined by pages,

Then call me a bookworm.

I love reading books,

And I love the way you are born.

50th

I can't even comprehend how I made such things I never know.

All I know is that thinking of you made every dead plant grow.

As if this dying world of me starts to bloom again,

As if sunshine blows away the endless rain.

Yet, it's hard for me to tell you,

The feelings linger as I sleep.

I am a finder's keeper.

And you're the one I intend to keep.

Sometimes I fancied myself talking to the sea,

Wondering of all the girls in this world why did I choose you,

But like magic by the illusions,

All I can utter is I don't know.

On this 50th poem,

I hope every foggy path becomes clear.

That like the song I always wanted to hear,

You always stay on my mind and heart and everything I feel.

Every breath I take and every fake becomes real.
