Chapter 97: Is it Sunday brunch or a strategy meeting?
It was a beautiful Sunday morning and Rogue had barely slept thinking about what to do about Lucifer. Sighing she finally decided to get up for the day, "I'll see what Ron and Ji think about this mess, I can't think about it anymore my brain hurts...." Taking a quick shower and putting on some comfy clothes she lazily made her way down the stairs and walked in to the dining room where Ron and Ji where softly talking while waiting for breakfast to be served. They saw the slight under eye bruising and figured out that she barely slept.
"Good morning little Poppy! Isn't it a beautiful sunny morning," Ron lightly teases her knowing that she would be cranky as a bear since she was sleepy. Ji smiles and shakes his head at Ron, " stop teasing our baby, you know she's as grouchy as an old man when she misses sleep. Are you ok hon?" Ji critically observed Rogue complexion and movements to make sure that she was only tired and nothing else. Before she could answer the maids came out with breakfast and they took a few minutes to pick their breakfast. Rogue took a bit of some buttered toast and slowly chewed and swallowed before answering, "I barely slept trying to come up with a plan to get Lucifer out of here and a counterattack for his plan to get rid of you two and auntie. I know he must be trying to come up with a way to do it as soon as possible. I know that crazy jerk was acting so nice yesterday but he's still trying to get me to marry him." Rogue was feeling frustrated and she couldn't help frown when she remembered that she would have to deal with him seven days a week with barely a break away from him, ugh it was just so depressing.
Ron starts to giggle when he saw the little pouting grumpy face she was making, "hahaha Rogue don't make that face you look like a grumpy baby. So cute!" Rogue glares at Ron, "Shush, I'm not a grumpy baby, I'm a disgruntled woman who is cursed with a pain in the butt unwanted fiancé!" Ji couldn't hold it in anymore and started to loudly laugh at his two sweethearts. "Okay, okay my sweethearts can't argue so early in the morning. Eat first and then we'll come up with a plan." Rogue glares at Ji too, "I'm not your sweetheart, I'm your little sis and princess! Humph!" Ji grinned, " ok my grumpy little princess, eat and sweetheart you need to eat too." Ji glances at Ron's plate and barely sees any food there. "Excuse you but I'm not your sweetheart, I'm your queen," Ron snootily answer back as he serves himself some toast,bacon and eggs. Ji lovingly pats his right hand and just answers back "Yes, my queen," as he also serves a small plate of fruits for Ron. They silently eat for a bit before Rogue's brain starts clearing its foggy grumpy feeling and she again starts to think about the issues to be taken care of.
