Chapter 87: An ambiguous relationship with two men, my my my..
As soon as Kyung mentioned the guys Ron and Ji walked in. Ron was his usual style savvy self while Ji was looking sexy in a dark way in a monochromatic outfit. Ron's smile momentarily made everyone smile it was so contagious. Ji was carrying a gorgeous bouquet of baby pink roses and he directly walked over to Rogue and handed them to her.
"Pretty flowers for our beautiful flower. I hope you like them," Ji smiles as Rogue takes a deep breath. "Thank you so much Ji. I love roses! Look how beautiful they are Nana." Hope worriedly looks at Brett an obvious question in her eyes. Who is this young man and why is he giving Rogue flowers? Brett soothingly pats his wife's hand, "They're really lovely. Hope, don't we have some of this particular roses in our greenhouse? Rogue as our future daughter in law, we are going to send over some roses to you weekly." Lucifer snorts and smirks at Ji, he really is that shameless to try to steal someone else's fiancee.
"Oh Uncle Brett, it's okay. You don't have to do that for me. I'm not going to be home much because of school and I wouldn't be able to enjoy them." Rogue calls out to one of the maids, "Please put them in a pretty vase and place them in my room". The maid quickly took the flowers and did as she was told. Lucifer was quietly fuming about the situation, everything was going as he planned and this two had to appear and derail everything. Why was she so happy about the flowers? He could give her flowers at anytime but thought it was too cliche.
"I didn't know you liked roses so much darling. Next time I'll bring you some from our greenhouse or better yet you can come with me and pick the best ones yourself." Ron rolls his eyes at him and Ji smiles lightly while Rogue just smiles falsely at him, "Don't worry about it, Ji brings me flowers home every week so it's a waste of flowers." Kyung and Johan looked at each other and tried not to laugh at the way that Rogue and Lucifer were acting. Johan whispers in Kyung ear, "Why do I find it so funny to see that brat fuming over some flowers? He looks like a little peacock trying to show off for a female that's not interested." Kyung elbows Johan, "Stop it. Look at how his parents are reacting. I have a bad feeling about this. Can it be that Lucifer wants to marry her for real and Rogue likes one of the boys instead?"
