Chapter 79: This is the beginning of our collaboration
"I hope you don't mind but I already picked a stylist and makeup artist for you. Ms.Gigi and Ms.Lola have agreed to head your team if that's ok with you?" Michael was expecting her agreement so he wasn't worried that she would think take it wrong that he made the decision for her. Rogue smiles and excitedly shakes Gigi's and Lola's hands, "Really? You want to be part of my team? That's great! I'm so excited and honored that you want to work with me." The two smile warmly at Rogue, "Rogue it's a great pleasure to work with you. You are a sweetheart and best of all you listen to our advice. Do you know how exhausting it's to work with someone who thinks they know your job better than you but they really don't have a clue what they are doing? Yeah, it's a nightmare for us but we are glad that you accept us as part of your team."
Lucifer and Adrian are quietly speaking to the side carefully watching everyone's reactions and body language to see who is not happy with Rogue's entry to the group. A few of the other girls and guys showed clearly how they were getting jealous of her and quite a few more show that they were actually happy for her. Lucifer squints and roughly speaks to Adrian, "I will hold you personally responsible if anything happens to my fiancee while she's in this building or working for the company at whatever event you send her to. Is that understood?" Adrian nods as he mentally makes a list of all the people who reacted in a weird way to Rogue, in unfortunately for them they are not listed on his black book. They would be the first suspects whom he would investigate if anything happened to Rogue. "I understand, do you also want me to include her cousin and her lackeys?" Lucifer nods, "Definitely. I would even check her cousin's family too, just in case they came here to make trouble for Rogue. That whole family is completely rotten and shameless, after everything they have done to Rogue they still act like they are the victims."
Suddenly Adrian smiles and pokes Lucifer's arm, "So little cousin, when is the wedding? I know that auntie and uncle have to be thrilled about finding Rogue. They must want you married as soon as possible so they can have grandbabies soon." Adrian chuckled as he sees Lucifer blushing as bright and red as a tomato, "They are very happy about it but I already told them that we will not get married until we finish university. Now that we're both going to be debuting soon we won't have much spare time except for school and work and I want Rogue to enjoy herself before we settle down." Adrian's evil smirk is plain to see and he decides to tease his little cousin, "Wow...that's tough. So I guess you aren't going to be practicing making babies anytime soon? Poor Lucifer, taking so many cold showers is going to give you a cold." Lucifer frowns at Adrian and punches his abs, "Shut up perv!"
