Chapter 28: Decisions part 2
"Ji, are you bothering our Princess? Ron scowled at Ji, as he sat at the side of Rogue's bed. Rogue grins at Ron's scowling face, how come he looks so cute when his trying to scold uncle Ji? I gotta save uncle Ji from his cute hissy fit."Dr.Howard, uncle Ji said I can call you uncle too, is that ok with you?" Ron radiates happiness when Rogue calls him uncle. "Of course you can sweetheart! I would let you call me daddy but I'm too young to be your daddy." Ji looks at his shameless best friend and mutters to himself, "Call him daddy? Please more like call him mama. I swear his gotten more shameless as we have gotten older." Rogue hears Ji's mutterings and starts laughing. Ron looks puzzled and worriedly looks at Rogue, "why are you laughing?" Ji is startled and blushes fiercely as he notices the way Rogue is looking at them. "Oh my goodness, really uncle Ji!" She is laughing so hard she starts crying specially when she sees how confused Ron looks because he didn't hear Ji's comment. Ji play frowns at Rogue and shakes his head, "brat don't you dare say anything else or you will be in a lot of trouble." Rogue plays salutes at him like she was a soldier. "Yes sir, whatever you say sir," she quickly collapses against the bed's headboard as she happily giggles. I'm going to love having uncles that I can tease. Being an only child and thought of as a pest by her paternal uncles family she never had that special relationship with her family.
Kyung and Johan walked into the room hand in hand and were greeted by Rogue's joyful laughter. They lovingly looked on at the two men who became part of their lives at such a horrible time and who along with the rest of the group of talented young men kept them from sinking into the darkness of depression and agonizing grief after losing their beloved child and her husband, followed by the emotional anguish of being kept away from their only grandchild. They counted their blessings and gave thanks for finally getting their family back together. "Rogue, you must be feeling better after your nap, are you hungry? What would you like to eat?" Johan shoved Ron out of the way and sat down were he was previously sitting down at. This brat was trying to claim his baby girl as his child, is he asking for death? Kyung saw Johan glaring at Ron and silently chuckled, I guess grandpa is feeling a little jealous. "Dear she just woke up today, she can only have a light meal. Sweetie, do you think you can handle some chicken soup and maybe a nice nutritious smoothie?" Just thinking about food made Rogue's little tummy growl with hungry and she furiously blushed. "Nana, I'm starving. I would love some chicken soup and a strawberry-banana smoothie. I don't know if I'll be able to eat it all but I sure will try." Kyung smiled and quickly called the kitchen to bring food for Rogue. "Okay, it will be done soon. Why don't we talk while we wait. Rogue, Papa and I have important things to discuss with you regarding your future. Do you think you're strong enough to listen to us and make life changing decisions today or do you want to wait a little bit?" Kyung was a little anxious about her reaction but slowly relaxed when she hears Rogue's answer. "Nana, I want to hear what you have to say right now."
