Chapter 4: The Past Influences the Future part 2
Malcom was concentrating on the road when his cellphone rang, a peek at it showed him his brother's name in the screen. Of course it's him, mom probably called him as soon as he left the house, he really didn't want to talk to anyone so he ignored the call. Gee, I need a cigarette, checking his pockets and finding the box empty he decides to stop at the nearest convenience store to buy some. Glancing around and seeing a small store he quickly pulled over and entered the shop. Hmm...I need something to drink too. Grabbing a soda he walks to the cashier and asks for a pack of cigarettes when he hears a beautiful voice coming from behind him, "You know smoking slowly kills your lungs and gives you wrinkles. I would think an intelligent looking man like you would know this." Turning around he was speechless for the first time in his life, the most beautiful woman he had ever seen was standing there smiling at him. She's just stunning, long beautiful red hair, beautiful green cat shaped eyes, skin like porcelain, smooth and with a beautiful soft look, and a shapely womanly body. She looks like a goddess, Malcolm was stunned.
"Yes, I know, it's a horrible habit but it calms me down when I'm stressed." Malcolm smiled and the girl felt her heart skip a beat. "Meditation works wonders you know, you should try it." The girl paid for her drink and snack and started to walk away before he started to follow her out the door. "So what kind of meditation exercises I should do then instead of smoking?" " Well I really don't know I don't smoke!" The girl's laughter sounded like the sound of beautiful bells to his ears. "I'm Malcolm Drake and you're?" "I'm Elizabeth Holiday, next to meet you." She stretches her hand out and they shake hands briefly. She looks like a mischievous little pixie with a wicked smile and look at those cute dimples, I just want to poke them. Elizabeth smiles again, wow, he is so handsome and his eyes are so bright and beautiful, they make me want to stare at them forever. Wait a minute, no no no forever is too long I don't even know him, flustered she blushes as she looks around trying to calm down. Malcolm chuckles, why is she blushing? She looks adorable.
"Ah, so giving advice without having more information about it. I'm a little disappointed." Malcolm faked a hurt look and Elizabeth couldn't help laughing at him "Sorry, my friends say I'm nosy and like to give advice about things when no one is asking for it, I guess they are right." "Well maybe you can give me more friendly advice in the future." Malcolm was shameless, he was interested in Elizabeth and wanted to get to know her better. He didn't know why but his heart felt light as a feather when he looked at this girl. "Do you live nearby Elizabeth?" "No. I just wanted a quick snack before driving home. I had a long day at school and was starving after skipping lunch"
"You are still in school? You're not still in high school are you?" Damn..if she's in high school, I'll feel like a perverted old man. Elizabeth saw his facial expression and wanted to tease him a little, "how old are you Malcolm?" Hehehehe let's see how he responds. "I'm 24 years old and how old are you lovely Elizabeth?" Please let her be legal, he thought as he tried to smile calmly at her. "24? Wow you are so old!" Damn she's a minor. Malcolm looked shocked at her response. "Hey 24 is not that old! How old are you? 16, 17,18?" Malcolm was waiting for her answer a little anxiously while she only smiled at him. "Well I am younger than you, so to me you're old," Elizabeth laughed as she saw how his gloomy thoughts reflected in his beautiful eyes. "Oh, so you are a minor, I guess we can't hangout and get to know each other better. I don't want you to have your reputation ruined because you are hanging out with a much older man." Disappointed Malcolm looked up at the sky, sighing, it figures the only female to capture his attention is too young for him. Why is he not surprised? Elizabeth can't hold it in anymore and starts giggling, "Malcolm, I'm 19." "Really! Okay so, I'm not too old for you then." Malcolm blushes as he realizes what he has said outloud. Elizabeth's beautiful face turn as red as a little berry and for the first time she feels shy around Malcolm. "Ah, I mean we can hangout and people won't find it inappropriate, ugh yeah. Can we?" "Of course we can hangout and be friends! You know, since I moved to Cental city, I have only made a few friends and I would love to make some more." Malcolm's smile is so bright and beautiful that Elizabeth couldn't help but smile right back. "So, since we are now going to be friends, can I have your phone number then?"
