Hawkeye used my momentum to shift to my left and kicked me in my flank. I tried to distance myself self but his flurry of the attack was unending with his initial attack only I found my self cornered already.
Hawkeye knew of my physical and haki mastery thus he didn't give me even the slightest chance to position myself. he turned whole battel situation in his favor with just one move what battel sense and instinct but I was not going to let the situation go like this I was familiar with his pattern from my last battle with him.
Hawkeye attacks me in my blind spot with great mastery with a diagonal slash he breaks my defense vulnerable and goes with a thrust to end it and that moment I used my sheath to parry his sword and bring my sword down for downward slash.
he sensed my intention and back away with a cut on his shirt. oh, man, he thrashed me so much but I only managed to cut his shirt dammed.
I mobilized all strength in my body and used shave and geppo to attack hawkeye from all sides where my attack was lees elegant but packing in power, he defends against them by using least amount of power by either parring or attaching with his own truly a master.
without knowing all the footing in our surroundings got destroyed and he retreated to Barataria. I know if we continue to fight like this there will be nothing left so I stopped.

Kei: Zoro I think you still want to challenge him so I will go after nami. what do you say, captain
