After washing up, Bell and Glass were truly awake as they headed to the front of the church where Hestia was waiting for them in a happy mood.
"Ne, ne, let's go! Off to the Guild!" Hestia giggled.
Glass stared at Bell who turned around and did the same as they both smiled and followed behind their Goddess as they headed outside their home. The two followed along with her as they walked through the busy market.
Suddenly, Bell stopped moving and glanced at some items in one of the shops. Pausing their journey, Bell said, "Wait here Kami - Sama, Glass - Kun" as he headed for the store by himself and bought something.
When he came back, Glass could see two ribbons that were white and blue matching her outfit in Bell's hands. "Kami - Sama, I bought these for you" Bell said as he presented them.
Seeing this, Hestia was extremely happy as she took off her current hair ties and replied, "Bell - Kun, put them on for me"
Bell nodded in embarrassment as he slowly tied her long hair into twin tails with his present. As he finished tieing the first one, his entire face was flushed red as he struggled to put on the second one.
When he was finally done, he moved back while Hestia spun around in a circle and asked the two, "Ne, ne, Bell - Kun, Glass - Kun, how do I look?"
"Very beautiful" Bell replied with his face still red.
"Great" Glass replied.
"Hehe" Hestia smiled as they began heading for the Guild again. When they arrived, the Guild was extremely busy. Though, Glass could see a few familiar faces that he had seen just a few days ago.
Standing in line, the three of them waited for their turn as they chat while in line. Glass and Bell looked around to see many Adventurers returning and heading out to and from the Dungeon with envy.
When it was their turn, a familiar voice called out to them. "Glass - Kun, Bell - Kun, Hestia - Sama!" the voice cried out.
Standing in front of the desk to see the beautiful half-elf and half-human Guild employee, the two greeted her.
"So both of you joined the Hestia Familia? It is truly a strange coincidence" Eine said.
Hearing this, both Glass and Bell smiled as Glass added, "We both met once while searching then somehow ended up joining the same Familia"
"I see, I hope you two will take good care of Hestia - Sama, now let me record this down before you two can officially become Adventurers" Eine replied as she took out some paper and started filling them in.
When she finished, she brought the three of them to the seats to talk. "Now that I've finished the documents, Glass - Kun, Bell - Kun, you two are now officially Adventurer's! But let me warn you, please do not venture further than the fifth floor until you are stronger! Even if there's two of you, it is still extremely dangerous" Eine warned them just after congratulating them.
Glass and Bell both nodded seriously, "Ah that reminds me since you two are the first to join, you shouldn't have any Valis left right? I'll lend you some until you two can make some yourself" Eine winked at them.
"Don't reject my offer, I'm guessing you don't even have enough for tonight's dinner am I right?"
Hearing this, the trio who was about to reject her nodded. "I thought so, don't worry about it, after all, you are repaying me back. Besides, Glass - Kun doesn't have a weapon right? Only Bell has a dagger on himself and some light armor" Eine continued.
She then went to get some Valis and handed it to them as she waved goodbye to them with Misha watching from afar.
"Ne, ne, let's go buy breakfast before heading to a weapon shop" Hestia suggested. Bell and Glass nodded as they followed her to buy breakfast.
Just after a few minutes, they arrived at a bread shop where Hestia bought some bread for the three of them as they headed for the weapon shop.
When they arrived and opened the door, the bell chimed as a deep voice greeted them. "Welcome, would you like some help?" the voice said.
"No thanks" Glass replied as the three of them started looking around the shop. Standing in the weapon section, Glass looked at the various equipment which came at different prices that he couldn't imagine how long it would take before he could buy even one of them.
Holding his chin, Glass thought to himself, "Hmm, what weapon should I use? A sword seems to be easy to use and somewhat familiar for some reason but it isn't ideal to be used in small spaces like a cave. Daggers are too short but are nimble while maces and axes are too heavy. A broadsword is even worst in cramped places so maybe a polearm or short sword is good"
As he was pondering, Bell's eyes glistened when he looked at one of the daggers that were on sale. However, when he saw the price tag being at over five million Valis, he looked dejected as he looked around for some more.
As he was thinking, his eyes wandered around until it stopped on one item on display. Without looking at the price, Glass took the short sword with a simple but elegant design while only being about 75 centimeters long not being too short or too long.
He held it in one hand and waved it around a few times as a voice could suddenly be heard from beside him. "Haha, I guess you took a liking to it? It's a great piece but comes at a pretty hefty price" the deep voice said.
Turning around, Glass saw a fat and short old man with a beard covering a majority of his face. The old man was obviously a dwarf as he rubbed his hands together and smiled.
Glass looked at the price tag and saw a hefty 900,000 price tag on it and neatly placed it back as if he had never come across it. He then continued looking around under the watch of the dwarf who was the shop owner and came across the cheapest weapons in the store.
