Chapter 80: 80.
When Noctis closed his eyes, he entered Zangetsu's space and saw Hollow Noctis meditating.
"Are you ready to fight?" Asked the hollow Noctis.
"Not really, I have already proven myself to be far superior than you for hundreds of rounds already. There's no point in fighting with you anymore. Rather I would like to talk with the old man." Noctis said as he sat down and waited for Old man to come out.
"Yo." Said Noctis to the old man who showed himself.
"What do you want?" Said the old man.
"I want you to train me and let me use the fake zanpakuto's Bankai and Quincy powers." Noctis said. Old man Zangetsu is far more negotiable and wise than the hollow version of himself.
"Hey, what about me?!" Shouted the hollow.
"What can you teach me? You can't even win against me." Noctis retorted.
"What will I get from this?" Asked Old man Zangetsu.
"You already got your payment. You're now an individual entity not connected to Ywach. Isn't that enough?" Noctis said.
"I can only lend you the fake Zanpakuto as for the quincy powers. Its not enough." Old man said.
"When you were released from Ywach, you're quite a greedy one, huh." Noctis said but Old man Zangetsu replied with a silent treatment.
"Fine. What do you want?" Noctis asked.
"The life of your loved one." As soon as he said that, a sword is placed on his neck.
"Tell me, Juhabach. Do you bleed?" Noctis asked as he unleashed his full power. His cells are screaming in delight after being unleashed by its owner. A menacing aura engulfed Juhabach but he didn't even flinch.
"I don't care if you are made by the system, this is your final warning, Juhabach. If you don't want to teach me. So be it." Noctis said.
"Even if you cannot reach Zangetsu's full potential?" Juhabach said.
"I'll find other ways to increase my strength. If you don't want to help, so be it. I'm sure there are plenty of ways to get stronger without relying on your Quincy powers." Noctis said as he started meditating as he knew he fell for Juhabach's provocation.
Hollow Noctis looks at Juhabach/Old man Zangetsu with an annoyed look.
"Do you really have to antagonize him that much? You do know that you're a part of him, right?" Hollow Noctis said.
"Have you seen it?" Instead of answering Hollow Noctis' question, Old man Zangetsu questioned Hollow Noctis instead.
"Seen what?" Hollow Noctis asked in confusion.
"His full strength. If you want to teach someone, at least know the ceiling of his strength." Old man Zangetsu said with a smirk and Hollow Noctis finally knew why Old man Zangetsu provoked him by using his reverse scale.
After a few hours of meditating, Noctis finally stood up with clear eyes as he stared at hollow Noctis and Zangetsu before summoning a wooden sword, he unleashed his full strength once more as he went into an Iai stance.
"Since you want to see my full power that much. Prepare yourself." Noctis said to the two as they went into defensive position and Zangetsu held a serrated sword while Hollow Noctis held his sword and his face is wearing a half mask.
'Thunderclap and Flash.' Noctis thought as he dashes forward and attacked. Hollow Noctis and Zangetsu jumped sideways but Noctis kicked the air as he went after Old Man Zangetsu.
Their battle lasted for 5 minutes and all of them look battered.
"Heh~ you're pretty amazing at full power aren't ya?" Said the Hollow Noctis.
"Hmmm." Old man Zangetsu instead is contemplating. He feels like something is off with Noctis but he can't tell why.
"You see... the breathing technique I got originally only has 6 stances... the reason I've been polishing thunderclap and flash instead of mastering all, is that, thunderclap and flash is the bread and butter of it. One man, who's not a genius but kept on polishing the first form... in the end, managed to make a 7th form to defeat his senior." Noctis said and the two finally knew where this was going.
"Brace yourself, old man." Hollow Noctis said.
Noctis inhaled a huge amount of oxygen in his body and circulated it to every part of his body including his brain. His senses felt clear and he can see things he wasn't able to see normally. He then went to Iai stance as he prepared his final attack.
'Kaminari No Kokyu, Shichi no kata: Honoikazuchi no kami' (Thunder Breathing, 7th form: Flaming Thunder God)
A blue flood dragon with a tinge of yellow appeared as an apparition at Noctis' back.
"Here it comes." Old man Zangetsu said as he focused all of his senses in defending the attack. Alas, their speed was not enough. They only saw that Noctis was gone from where he stood from and two large gash appeared on their chests.
Noctis kneeled down after using the 7th form for the first time. He felt like his legs were going to give up due to the pressure it received. At this point, where he was vulnerable, the gourmet cells showed their might. Gourmet cells started repairing his body at a fast pace building all the teared ligaments and muscles as if they were new but don't make a mistake, the new muscles and ligaments are improved and much more tensile than the previous one.
After feeling the receding pain from his legs, he stood up with the help of the wooden sword and went to the two and pointed his sword.
"You lost." He said and Hollow Noctis pouted his mouth. Although he lost, he wouldn't admit it. In fact, he never will. Contrary to hollow Noctis, Zangetsu started laughing out loud.
"Great! Its been a long time since I've seen a good seedling. Fine then, I will teach you how to use the Quincy powers and let you borrow the fake zanpakuto. Don't disappoint me now." Old man Zangetsu said before vanishing.
"Heh~ you're my real zanpakuto but you can't even teach me something? What the heck was that? Are you really my zanpakuto or is that old man the true one?" Noctis said to Hollow Noctis in disdain.
Hollow Noctis didn't answer his question.
'You won't be able to use it properly even if I taught you.' Hollow Noctis thought as he let Noctis run his mouth and just closed his eyes and continued meditating.
