Chapter 77: 77.
When Noctis returned home, he was teleported in the first floor. Although he was not physically nor spiritually tired, his emotions of not being able to see his family took a toll for him. When he reached their room, he saw Irene and the children sleeping peacefully. Irene slowly woke up and rubbed her eyes and saw that Noctis is back.
Noctis removed his clothes and changed into his sleepwear and lied down besides Irene.
"How was your trip?" Asked Irene as she gave Noctis a light kiss.
"I missed you." Noctis said.
"You do know that that was not what I asked, right?" Irene said and Noctis only chuckled.
"Well, I met some interesting individuals. I have also completed my objective in that place." Noctis then slowly explained to Irene about the wonderful things about Toriko world that Irene was tempted to go there once.
As for the GT robo, it was modified by the system. The insides are still parts of the GT robos with upgrades here and there. The major change is their appearance. They do not look like Nitros or crow faced anymore. They were like people and the system changed the name from GT Robo to GT android.
"How long did you stay there?" Asked Irene.
"More or less, a month." Noctis said as he gave Irene another kiss. He was pretty pent up and carried Irene back to their room. Irene didn't fight back because she knew that Noctis was pent up after not being with her for a month.
Noctis didn't have the guts to cheat on Irene as he loved her very much. What Noctis didn't know was that Irene would know whether Noctis cheated on her because she could SMELL if there are any lingering female scent on Noctis' body and she trusted Noctis to not cheat on her.
Noctis then told Irene about what he learned in there about s*x. About backdoors and Steve Job's little brothers, Hand and Blow Jobs, causing Irene to smack his chest with a red face.
"Shameless! Did you go to that place really for that?! Maybe I should chain you down here to stop you from learning weird traditions!" Irene shouted to Noctis with a red face. Thankfully, the walls of the tavern was already soundproofed, if not, then all of the people in the house would've woken up.
Noctis was desperate. Really desperate. His little brother hasn't been in the grace of a woman for a month so he tried coaxing Irene but Irene just turned her back on him and didn't care about Noctis anymore as she tried to sleep.
Noctis, like a deflated balloon, gave up as he just hugged his wife as he slept with few teardrops running on his face.
When Noctis fell asleep, the 'sleeping' Irene opened her eyes as she looked at her weary husband. She was worried for him, although she had sensed that her husband became more powerful, she didn't want the responsibility of a father to burden or overwhelm him. She knows that Noctis was trying his best to make sure that the life inside her would be born safely, and that's what worries her.
'What if he accidentally crossed someone strong and was defeated in his journey to other worlds? What if he fell into a trap and would be captured by someone strong?'
These thoughts kept invading her mind as she let out a silent cry for her husband. She knows that he's strong, but the thought of his husband meeting an opponent he couldn't defeat worries her very much. If possible, she doesn't want her husband to leave and just let nature take its course but he is paranoid about it. After letting out a silent cry, she looked at her husband as she caressed his face while humming until she fell asleep as well.
The next morning, Noctis woke up with conflicted feelings, he felt somber and good at the same time, he didn't know why. He felt depressed, he didn't feel like working today at all, but he had to. To earn points. He took a look at the price of the GT androids and calculated that his points is short to buy one. He then calculated that he could buy two by the end of the night.
He stared at his wife hugging him tightly. He can't get enough of Irene's face. He fell deeper and deeper in love with her as the time pass. He felt grateful to have an understanding wife like Irene. He gave her a light kiss before he stood up and covered her in quilt before going down and started preparing breakfast for everyone.
When the sun has shown itself to the world, he went to his parent's room and left their breakfast there. He then went up to the chipmunk's room and woke them up.
"Wakey wakey, little chipmunks." He said as he nudged the children.
"No, father. 5 more minutes." Said Erza, still with closed eyes, as she raised her 4 fingers.
"Erza, that's four. Not Five." Noctis said.
"No, father. 5 more minutes." Erza said then went back to sleep.
"Aren't you going to play with Brandish today?" Said Noctis.
"No, father. 5 more minutes." Erza said as if a broken recorder and Noctis had a vein on his temple but he kept his calm as he exhaled and used one of his trump cards.
"Erza... no strawberry shortcakes, for a week." Noctis solemnly said and the sleeping Erza suddenly rose up from the bed.
"Father, I'm awake. What are you saying?" Erza acted like she had no idea.
"Go wake your sisters up so that you can eat your breakfast and play with Brandish later." Noctis said as Erza took the hard job of waking her sisters up.
Noctis then started feeding the kids with the food. It has been a long time since he spent time with his daughters. He hopes that with the GT androids, he would have more time with his family. He is the owner, all he should do was manage the tavern and not do everything.
He planned on using the first two GT Androids at the farm, one taking care of the crops and the other taking care of the animals. Once the two finished their jobs, Noctis would swap out with the two as they take the reins of the bar and serve the food.
He also plans on upgrading the lands at his backyard so that he could grow magical crops to feed for his animals and he would slowly feed them with magical crops to transform them to magical beasts and he would have an endless supply of magical beast meat.
After feeding the kids, he went to Irene's room after letting the kids to play in the water to take a bath.
When he entered the room, he saw the sleeping Irene tucked in with the quilt. Her sleeping face was so cute that Noctis can't help but caress her face which woke the sleeping beauty up.
"Good morning, my lady." Noctis said as he kneeled down and kissed Irene's hand.
Irene opened her eyes and saw her husband kissing her hand. She smiled and waved Noctis off with the kissed hand.
"How cruel milady. I'm hurt." Said Noctis while acting sad.
Ignoring her husband's antics, she sat down and saw the sumptuous breakfast his husband made for her. The sunny side-up eggs were shaped into a heart and there was a cut-out chibi version of her with her witch's garb on the rice. There was also a mug of coffee alongside her breakfast with pitcher of water. She stood up and gave her husband a kiss on the cheeks and thanked him.
Noctis thought that Irene was about to beat him up after sending his peace offerings. His face that was depressed was filled with joy as he tried to give a deep kiss to Irene but he was held off by Irene's hand and Noctis pouted. Seeing Noctis pout, Irene finally smiled and laughed while Noctis smiled and laughed as well.
The Rom-Com skit of the husband and wife in the early morning was finished with a smile on their faces.
