It has been a week since they started the project. We've met with difficulties along the way but so far we've had it easy. I also now know that the place of my tavern was within the wolf king's territory as said by Jura. As a person who doesn't know a thing about the wasteland of death, Jura filled that void of knowledge that I currently lacked.
I then stared at the finished tavern and nodded in satisfaction. I don't need a big and complex one since I can just use the renovation tool to remodel the tavern.
After notifying the tower of the completed mission, I paid another million jewels to the tower. As for how I got money, I completed hunting missions posted in the adventurer's tower.
Right now, I'm standing in front of the tavern and looking at my completed missions.

Since the lands in the wasteland of death was free to claim, I didn't spend a single jewel on it and I completed the mission. No need for signing anything.
I then asked the system about the renovation Add-on.
[Host could literally renovate the place using the tool. Host can renovate the place for free as it is host's first use, but the next renovation would cost you. System also formed a folder of pre-set designs of tavern and host could check it out or host could manually renovate the place. The choice is for host to make.]
'I see' I thought as looked at the pre-set designs of the tavern.
After half an hour of looking around the designs, I chose the Golden Deer Pub design from Etrian Odyssey. I also made changes by making it a three story building with the second floor as the rooms for the guest and the third floor for our own bedrooms. I also added some playground just outside the tavern and had the system build some fences surrounding the place.
After confirming everything with the system immediately got to work as I stood there astounded at what is happening in front of my own eyes. You can immediately see the changes happening right in front of your eyes. It was like someone was molding the tavern using their own hands.
After 5 minutes of waiting, the tavern was finally completed.
It was finally time for naming the tavern. I decided to name it 'Traveler's Refuge' which I named for those who seek shelter and good food for those mercenaries brave enough to reach this place.
The signboard was finally placed. I just needed to fetch Erza and Kagura back and go to our new home. I also used the S-rank tavern guardian as white light enlightened the place. Stood in front of him, is a cat humanoid with a wavy-white hair. A famous antagonist and the first born of the royal guards. Neferpitou. Though there are definitely some changes. Instead of chimera ant body, her body is of a human, the only difference is she had cat ears, claws, and a tail.
She just sat there like a cat, probably waiting for my order.
"Pitou, if you ever feel hunger, I left a bowl of milk for you. I will fetch my daughters, so guard this place while I'm gone." I said to Pitou who only nodded to me while curiosly looking around the place.
I set the guardian into free mode and would only attack if someone wants to make trouble in the tavern.
I have also learned that the Tavern Guardian will only move for those who are sure to cause trouble, but I changed the settings to move when hostiles are in the tavern.
After checking if everything is good, I head out back to Fiore to fetch Kagura and Erza and introduce them to our new home.
On the way back to Fiore, new quests popped up and I took the time to study the quest myself if I could use some exploits to milk much better benefits from it. The system didn't seem to care after all.

Seeing the rewards, I'm excited to finish them, my only problem with them is that they are time consuming. When will I have my first customer, if I'm in the middle of a cursed land. I also don't know how much time would it take for my crops to grow, but since its from the system, I'm sure the quality is good.
I arrived at Fiore and told them about our new house as they are excited that we are finally transferring to a permanent housing. I also bought a few seeds that are essential to daily life and hopps to plant for ale and beer.
It took us half a day when we got back to the tavern. They marvelled at the size of the tavern but decided to check it out since it is basically night when they arrived back to the tavern.
When they entered the tavern, what they saw surprised them. They saw Pitou lying on the floor like a cat. I woke Pitou up as her eyes lit up when she saw me and she looked at the 'daughters' that she heard from me with curiosity.
I introduced Pitou to them and I reasoned that I picked her up when I was helping with the building of the tavern.
'It seems like Pitou doesn't know the language yet. She can only look at them in curiosity but never had the chance to speak yet.' I thought before putting Erza, Kagura, and Pitou in the same room as we rested and prepared for tomorrow.
