Chapter 3: Chapter 3: Learning Vaapad and a Vision from the Force
As I began following Master Windu in the first form of Vaapad I began to understand that the form put its user in constant attack mode even when blocking it was only a set up for a striking maneuver which was a perfect addition to what I was trying to build in my own personal lightsaber style.
Once the pair training was done Master Windu had practice the form solo till he felt that I at least had the basics of the form which seemed like forever but was only really an hour on the chronometer plus the time we trained together so about a full two hours went by which after all that I had done previously I was pretty burnt out. After I had completed the last segment of the form Master Windu asked me to come back the following day and learn the next set of movements in the form to which I agreed and left the training.
Once I was a few meters away from the training area I decided to go look for Master Yoda since he said he had some things to teach me and I knew that if I stayed held up for too long the Jedi Master would not be happy with being held up so quickly made my way to his location.
As I approached Master Yoda I sensed a presence I was not yet familiar so I approached my master and stranger with anticipation at what possible lesson I would receive. As I got close enough to hear them speak Yoda spoke to the stranger and said " Here now approaches the young one I told you about surely he will help with your padawan class, young apprentice Stromm?" To which I responded " of course master." after I had spoken the Jedi Instructor looked at Master Yoda and bowed before departing. once the master had left Yoda sat down and told me to do the same " Busy you have been my young padawan, many lessons you have learned, now we will focus on meditation and patiently seek the will of the Force, are you ready young one." to which I replied " yes, Master." and closed my eyes and begin to follow Master Yodas instruction on breathing and feeling the eddies in the force I begin to feel refreshed from my previous training sessions as well as the heightening of my senses, I feel at peace.
time seems to stop all thoughts cease its as if I'm swimming in the ocean and I'm trying to dive deeper to see its secrets it is in that moment that I have a vision of the future of place full of dessert and no vegetation as well as two people fighting on the dune one wielding a blue lightsaber the other a red blade their fight was faster than I could keep up with but i could feel their emotions as if both desired the destruction of the other and then one other feeling came into play a sudden and deep sadness in could describe it as if someone had died that was ver beloved by those that knew them, and then the vision was over.
I opened my eyes and began to weep uncontrollably as if I had lost all that was dear to me and put my Master in sudden shock as he watched this young adolescent boy cry for no reason when the vision ended I fell to the floor drained of all energy all I could do was hear master Yoda hobble his way over to me and feel his hand stretch out his hand and a sudden warmth filled my body restoring my strength finally I was strong enough to pick myself up off the floor and stand.
After a few moments master Yoda ask if I'm OK to which I respond that I'm fine but that I've had a vision to which Yoda replies " A vision you say, what vision young one would drive you to such despair and anguish tell me padawan what did you see." I look at master Yoda and begin to recall the vision I saw and began to tell the master in detail " I saw two men fighting on a desert planet and surrounding them were them were the bodies of jedi strewn about of young and old and the dark side was swarming the area as if it had no end." As master Yoda listened to what I was describing to him I could see his brow furrow in deep thought as he meditated on the Force looking for an answer that seemed to be evading him finally the small Jedi Master spoke " What you have seen, prevent it we must but how do we prevent it only the Force knows the answer, padawan I will do all I can to prepare you and the order now go and rest padawan until your strength has returned." so I did as I was told and went to my quarters and went to sleep.
The next day...
After a long night of restful sleep I woke up refreshed and ready to take the day so my first stop was the fresher then from there I put on my tunic and boots and headed out looking for master Yoda which took some time but not long thank the Force for the force sense skill or it would have been a major headache trying to find any one amongst all the Jedi. After locating master Yoda he directed me to the younglings class under the instruction of master Ta'thon for basic force skills and I would be the masters assistant helping those who were struggling.
Luckily for me the next step in my mission was right in front of me just a whole year younger and still impressionable enough to learn skills and keep it a secret till the time was right and now I can avoid a penalty from the system or so I thought.
