Chapter 9: Chapter 9: Laxus & Mystogan
1st Person POV:
I was released the next day. I quickly arrived at the guild and greeted them as usual. I sat near Mira and ordered my food.
Mira: So how are you Aizen? I heard you got arrested yesterday?
Aizen: I'm doing fine Mira. Yeah, It was just a facade to show the world who is in charge and maintain public law. I just had to be their scapegoat. *munch* *munch* It's just plain stupidity.
Mira: I was so worried about you yesterday. Natsu even tried to go to the council to rescue you. Master had to step in to stop him. *sighs*
Aizen: I bet he did. *chuckles* Thanks for worrying about me. *winks at her*
Mira: *blushes* I - It's no problem. You're one of our family in the guild.
While we were talking among ourselves team Natsu arrived in the guild and started doing their stuff. Erza took the seat next to mine and ordered strawberry cakes. Happy asked Mira for a fish which she happily gave him. Lucy was talking with levy about her novel I guess. Natsu and Gray started fighting as usual. Lisanna was working as a waitress taking orders. Loke was flirting with his harems. Cana was drinking with Macao and Wakaba.
Aizen: Hey Erza! Are you going to any new quest today?
Erza: I was thinking of taking a solo S-class quest today. But, first I need to eat my cake. *blissfully munching*
Aizen: I was hoping we could take an S-class quest together you know? It's boring to do solo quest every time. I was also hoping to bring Natsu and the group with me for the experience. It'll be a good opportunity for them to learn the difficulty of the S-class mission.
Erza: Hmm... Sure we can do some quest together. Alright, you can pick the quest we could do. I'll tell those guys about the mission later *happily eats cake*
While we were talking I suddenly sensed sleep magic taking effect on everyone. I quickly negated its effect but everyone had fallen asleep.
*step* *step* *step*
Mystogan slowly approached the request board and took a quest and went to Makarov for the permission.
Aizen: Geez... do you have to use that spell every time you arrive to take a quest? It's annoying.
Mystogan: Sorry. But I have to keep my identity a secret. You also know I can't show my face around others.
Makarov takes his quest and approves it. When Mystogan was trying to leave, Makarov shouted at him.
Makarov: At least cancel the spell when you're leaving. It's hard to focus while feeling so sleepy.
Mystogan: 5, 4, 3, 2, 1...
As he said that, he quickly disappeared from our sight. Everyone else soon began waking up.
Lucy: Huh?!... how come I'm asleep?
Natsu: It's that bastard Mystogan again. I'm going to beat him when I see him someday.
Gray: Damn him. Can't he normally enter the guildhall? It's not like he's a celebrity to hide his face. It's annoying when I suddenly fall asleep.
Cana: Ugh... my beer is all over the floor. Damn that bastard Mystogan! I'm going to charge him for that.
Everyone soon started complaining, when suddenly arrogant laughter comes from the 2nd floor.
Laxus: You see Mystogan is shy around people. If you can't even resist his sleep spell, then that means all of you are weak. I laugh at your pitiful strength haha...
Natsu: I'm not a weak bastard! Fight me and I'll show you who's stronger.
Natsu tried to go to the second floor but Makarov quickly stopped him.
Makarov: You need to be an S-class wizard to enter the second floor. That's the rule Natsu. When you pass the S-class test then only you can go there.
Laxus: Haha see that. If you can't even reach me, then how will you fight me. All of you are weak.
Gray: Damn you. I'll beat you someday. We still have strong people like Erza, Mystogan, Aizen, and Gildarts.
Laxus: Your 100 years too early to beat me. Erza is still too weak to fight me. Mystogan is too busy hiding his identity to fight me. As for Aizen, I'll admit he's strong but still nowhere as strong as me. As for Gildarts, that old bastard isn't at the guild most of the time so it doesn't matter anyway. Except those three you're all weak. Haha
Makarov: That's enough Laxus! If you're just here to boast about your strength then you've made your point.
Laxus: Tch... quickly retire and hand over the guild master position to me. Then I'll reform fairy tail to become the strongest guild in Fiore. Haha...
Laxus quickly left the guild laughing. Everyone becomes depressed due to his statement.
Lucy: What did he mean? It's impossible, right? He can't become the guild master with that attitude, right? It'll be a disaster if he becomes the next guild master.
Lisanna: Well there is some truth to it. Laxus is master Makarov's grandson. So, if anything happens to the guild master, then he will inherit his position. That's why gramps can't retire even though he's so old. Laxus used to be a nice guy but now he became so arrogant *sighs*
After the incident, Lisanna started working as a part-time waitress when she isn't going on a quest with her brother.
Cana: If that bastard Laxus becomes the next guild master, then most of us will quit the guild. He's way too arrogant for his own good. *drinks more*
When they were talking, I asked Mira for a suitable job request. Later, she came with many S-class quests. I quickly got the Galuna Island quest. I told Erza about the quest and she told Natsu and friends about it.
I left the guild when it was noon. I need to train harder. I still haven't unlocked my soul world for training. I guess, it will unlock when I get a girlfriend *sighs*. Now I have another reason to progress my relationship with Mira.
After intense training under 15x gravity, I quickly arrived home, took shower and slept.
