Chapter 10: Chapter 8: Dive

We plunge downwards all heading face first into the warm water of the pool, for a second my hand stings, but the next, is relieved by the warmth. I'm glad that Liddy's mom was able to stitch up my hand, otherwise blood would be flooding the pool. I rise from under the water, finding the girls splashing around in the water whilst Vick awkwardly sits in the pool, knowing the giant fence around Liddy's house blocks his escape. "I'm in no position to talk to you but, Didn't the teachers talk to you, after all Mr.Finn is your dad." He winces and buries his head deeper into the water. "I'm pretty sure that Liddy's mom won't let you leave, nor Tsuki, just let me warn you I don't want you coming back." He nods sadly, making me kinda pity his situation. "CHILDREN." Everyone comes to a sudden halt, Mrs.Harbord's demanding voice echoing throughout the entire backyard. "Y-yes mother?" Liddy says nervously. I feel bad for her as if I should be the one being scolded since I caused this mess. Adelina sits in the corner of the yard closest to us, she glares at Vick questioning what Mrs.Harbord will say. She then glances behind me as if on cue. "Liddy, I thought I told you that friends are welcome here, there is no need to sneak them in!" She says, more excited than how I had thought she should've been. "H-Hi" Vick mumbles reluctantly. Liddy's mother looks at him in a similar matter. She continues on like that for a while longer then puts on a bright smile. "Come on our we have plenty of spare clothes here, some for you as well." She says to Vick. The girls climb out of the pool, and Liddy as it seems is once again at it with Tsuki, Them arguing with each other about who has a better sense of fashion. "My Japanese wardrobe is cultural and formal unlike your pastel woepixe outfit." "Ok first off, what exactly is a woepixe, and at least my jacket has some cute rainbows on it, rather than your trashy dark navy jacket." They continue off inside, Vick going ahead, Adelina staying behind once again. "A woepixe." She says. I look at her curiously as I probably will more often in the future. "It's like a little girls dream, it can be anything actually. A unicorn a pixie." "Ahh WoePixe I see, you and her seem to like the paranormal and mythical." I say smirking hoping for a grin or a chuckle. "I guess living a fantasy could factor into that, although it's more of a nightmare…" She mumbled to herself. "I'm sorry I didn't catch that." I reply with. "It's nothing." And with that she wanders into the house, walking upstairs where you can hear the squeals of Liddy and Tsuki, whereas I venture back downstairs to where my spare clothes are kept. Knowing I'll have to deal with Vick as soon as They get there.
