C77: Injured
After working in WS corporation for two months, Angel is more familiar with company matters and she assists Adrian very well. With one order from Adrian, Angel knows what her boss needs and will perform immediately. Both Angel and Adrian felt comfortable working with Angel. Maybe it is due to Angel looks, Adrian found himself working at ease and comfortable.
When next to another female, regardless it is a business partner or the daughter of an elite family, he would always keep a distance with them and will not even strike a conversation but with Angel, it is different. He felt really comfortable next to her and he converses well with her just like a friend without the need to feel cautious.
Adrian often has to work till very late and Angel will occasionally stay behind too to complete her work so they will have dinner together and Adrian will send her home when it gets too late. Other than Justin and Gina, Adrian thinks that Angel is someone he could open to. Is he slowly falling for Angel?

At the office,
"President, we have to go for the lunch appointment with president Chen of SC fashion," Angel inform Adrian.
"Ok, prepare the car now," Adrian ordered Angel.
Adrian went out with Angel and assistant Zhang. Just when the three of them went down, Angel found out that she has left a few important documents in the office.
"President, I left the document in the office. I will go up and take now." Angel had seldom made such a small mistake so she was afraid that her boss would blow up.
"Go now, quickly," Adrian said sternly but he does not seem to be angry.
Angel quickly went up to pick up the document and went to the lift but the lift was very slow. and going to every level. Angel saw that it was getting late and they are going to be late and she decided to take the stairs.
"Ahhhh...." as she was rushing down the stairs, she misses a step and sprains her leg badly.
"Assistant Zhang, go and take a look if she is coming down." Adrian was a little impatient as he kept looking at his watch.
Angel's phone was running low on battery. Before her phone went flat, a call from assistant Zhang came. She picked up the call and asked for help. Assistant Zhang found her on the staircase landing.
"Mr Zhang, please bring this document to the president first." Angel was squinting in pain but she does not want to ruin the lunch appointment because of her.
"But you..."
"Don't mind me, I will take care of myself. President is still waiting." Angel urge him to go quickly.
Assistant Zhang quickly sends the document but Adrian frown when he saw assistant Zhang coming down alone.
"Where is secretary Xu? Why are you alone?"
"She sprains her ankle when she was coming down. She has asked us to go off first." assistant Zhang quickly explained.
"Change the appointment date with president Chen. Tell him something came up." Adrian ordered assistant Zhang.
"But president, president Chen will be flying off tomorrow and will only come back six months later. We cannot change this appointment."
"I will go to meet him alone. You go take care of her. Make sure her injury is properly taken care of and send her home." Adrian told assistant Zhang with a little annoyance in his voice.
"But..." Assistant Zhang was worried about leaving Adrian alone.
"No buts! Go now." Adrian then hopped onto his car and went off.
Adrian was filled with mixed emotions. He did not know why he was both angry and worried when he heard Angel got injured. He even thought of cancelling his appointment for her. He would never do that to an employee. He would just ask someone to help them but will never go attend to the situation himself but he wanted to go to Angel at his first thought when he heard that Angel was injured.
