Chapter 15: C15:They have reconcile
Violet saw the change in Adrian. He would spent time at home no matter how much work he has. Even he has tons of leftover work, he would bring it home instead of staying at the office. He prepares breakfast for one of the morning, playing with little candy, making him milk and tucking him in bed. Violet was touched by his actions, she really had the urge to run to him and agree on taking him back but she was afraid of another devastating outcome of the relationship
After a few days, Violet finally agree to give Adrian another chance. He was elated and promise to treat her and little candy better. Violet was also happy that they could get back together as she has never stopped loving him. Auntie Wang was also extremely happy at the thought of Violet as her future daugther-in-law.
At the airport,
"Brother Adrian, I'm back. I will definitely make you mine this time." Mabel Liu said it aloud with determination in her eyes
"Miss, do you wang to head home first." the chauffer asked.
"Bring me to the Wang residence." Mabel commanded the chauffer.
At the Wang residence,
"Auntie, I'm back. It's been a long time. When I was in country A, I have always miss your cooking."
"It's Mabel, it has been around 10 years since you last left the country. How's your parents in country A?"
"They have been well, still as loving as always?"
"Mabel, have you have a boyfriend yet, you were popular at school with many boys chasing after you."
"Auntie, you are flattering me, I still have not found my mr right."
"Stay for dinner, Adrian will be back in a while and we can continue chatting."
Violet brought little candy out and Adrian took out half a day to accompany them.
Just before dinner, Violet and Adrian came back home, little candy was exhausted playing outside and was sleeping soundly. Mabel was excited when she heard that Adrian was back but what she did not know is that the person she loves already has a girlfriend.
"Mum, dad, We are home!"Adrian said when he walk in with little candy and Violet.
"Brother Adrian, I'm back from contry A." Mabel said it with infatuation in her eyes when she look at Adrian
Just then she saw Violet beside Adrian, "Brother Adrian, this is.....?"
"Mabel, Auntie have forgotten to introduce you. This is Violet, Adrian's girlfriend and that is little candy, her son. "
"Violet, this is Mabel, our old neighbour and also Adrian's childhood playmate. She has just came back from country A" Auntie Wang introduce Violet and Mabel to each other
"Brother Adrian, you have a girlfriend...." Mabel was dumbfounded by what she was seeing.
"Let's not stand here and talk. We can talk while we are eating" Auntie Wang urge them to have dinner.
"Ok, mom. We will bring little candy upstairs first." Adrian aknowledge the presence of Mabel but did not express any objection. He was not extremely happy that Mabel was here but also not hate her so he had not express any opinion of Mabel in his house
A flash of disappointment was seen on Mabel's face when she know that Adrian has a girlfriend but she quickly squeeze out a smile to cover her disappointment.
