Chapter 72: I don't want to waste this night.
They all cry when Austin tells them he understands and Mrs Young gives him permission to admit it's been lonely. Austin breaks down sobbing Denise sees Austin from her desk where she can see him Denise also cries.
Denise puts herself back together by the time Austin parents leave Mrs Young stops to talk to her. She tells Denise to take care of our Austin with a knowing smile Denise tells her not to worry . Denise goes in to Austin and sits with him. He doesn't speak but smiles at her gratefully.
Austin is quiet on the drive home after work. He calls him Mom and ask about Aidan mom tells him Aidan is planning to go back to France and probably wouldn't be back for a long time.
Austin drives fast to his parents house and find Aidan packing his luggage. Austin ask him leaning on door if he is running away again. Aidan says Austin must think him weak and pathetic for doing such an arrogant thing back then .
Aidan cries and yells that because Austin pretend to lose his memories he spent his life hating his little brother and pity himself. Austin says Sorry I thought everything would be fine if I lost my memories and live on. But today I saw how Mom has lived with the guilty and I realize that it would have been better if I told the truth. Austin says they would have gotten through it even if it was hard because they are family . Austin admits that he was arrogant and took away Aidan chance to fix things and apologies again.
Aidan cries and ask how Austin can forgive him for torturing him for years. Austin tells it was painful but only because I was too traumatised. Austin says he never in pain because of him.so there is nothing to forgive and he tells Aidan to forgive himself and be free.
Austin leaves and Aidan calls him tearfully I'm sorry. At that time I had to be someone else . That was the only way I could live.
Austin takes Denise home . They share a glass of wine after dinner. He tells her that it feels good to have all the secret out in the open she agrees that being honest is best. He ask is he truly think so Denise nods Austin ask if he can be truthful about how he is feeling now with an evil smile.
Austin gently kisses her pushing her onto the couch she lay down. Austin leans back and say "I don't want to waste this night. " He sees if Denise feels uncomfortable and reading her sees he slowly in untie her blouse not .
