Chapter 7: Oh, Rebecca.

Jules had a friend named Rebecca that was also her long time maid that she always had tea with at noon, and shared her little secrets to. Rebecca returned the favor, but didn't really have much to share in general besides being kind of annoyed at Margaret or Jules' father Phillip being overall handsy and flirtatious.

One day, Jules was having tea, but for some reason Margaret had served her tea, and Rebecca wasn't there. "Where's Rebecca? I always have a nice cup of Earl Grey with her, with cream and crumpets." Jules frowned, her brown eyes staring at Margaret, disappointed to see the old maid with her frumpy grey hair and crooked teeth. She would of rather seen Rebecca's gentle, soft features, like her blond, smooth, braided hair, her precious gem like blue eyes, and her enticing smile. Let's just say, she rather enjoyed that girl's company and not just Margaret, the boring servant.

"Rebecca is tending to your father and brother today, mi'lady." Margaret bowed. "If you'd like to be left alone, I can leave, I know your preference for Rebecca."

"Yes, thank you."Jules left alone to her thoughts, about what her friend and personal maid could be doing with her father and brother. She shrugged it off as probably being something like redoing her father's study and Jim was helping. She was in for a rude awakening.

The next two tea times, no Rebecca, again. She also don't see her at dinner and she hadn't been drawing her bath for her, all Margret's doing. She didn't even help her dress, which had been their routine for the past couple years, which was baffling. She was really starting to wonder what was going on. So she decided to investigate.

Jules looked high and low when she got a chance, between her studies, she looked in the servants' upstairs quarters, the kitchen, the laundry room, by the out door creek, she could not find her. The only places she wasn't looking was her parents' room and her father's study.

Jules was only fourteen, even though she'd heard of stuff like what people do behind closed doors, she'd never imagine that. She walked in on her dad and brother on top of her maid, taking her in different ways. She slammed the door, bright as a raspberry, as warm as a lava rock, dizzy as a moth that flew round and round a candle light. She was scared, thought it was a dream. OHhno, poor Rebecca. She thought.

Jim ran out of the room with shorts on, topless.

"What were you doing to her?!" a flushed embarrassed, Jules asked.

"Whatever we want, she's our maid."

"No, she's mine. You can't just fuck whatever you see." Jules pointed out sternly. "Please leave her be, find someone else."Jules was seemingly unaware that all of this was a common practice for her father, an uncontrollable beast, mostly due to his uninterested wife. His wife only wanted children, no other reason for sex besides that. Jules didn't know of manly urges around beautiful women or their lustful hearts, and greedy minds.

"i suppose you're right sister, but we've had her for days now, you know that, right?" Jim winked. Sex fiend.

"I thought you may of been having her reorganize on of your rooms, but i suppose, obviously, that's completely untrue." Jules frowned, head down, staring at the green and orange patterned rug. She pulled the rug and tripped her brother.

"The rug was pulled out from under me, but now you get a taste of your own medicine, literally getting it out pulled out from under you." She laughed. "i hope to see Rebecca tonight for changing time. She is my maid." Jim rubbed the back of his neck and the back of his ankle, that had hit the floor quickly, but still caused a lot of pain.

"We'll see sister."

They did give her maid back to her, but it seemed like she wasn't the same. Rebecca just laid out Jules night gown for her on her bed, but Jules didn't see her again that day. The next early afternoon, Rebecca had more secrets to tell. How the men of the house deflowered her.

"They had asked me to come to your father's study to have some tea ready for a meeting he was supposed to have, but oddly enough, the couch was folded out with velvety red sheets, and both Jim and Phillip were on it, naked, staring at me. Margaret locked the door behind me. I knew it wasn't a good thing but i could not scream or shout, that would of upset them."Rebecca cried, blue eyes streaming rivers. She couldn't really fight her masters though, could she? She didn't have any choice but to comply to their selfish, seedy demands. Jules wiped the tears from Rebecca's eyes.

"Here, have some tea to warm you up. I could probably never understand losing 'it' like that, we're in completely different situations, you and I. I haven't lost 'it' either and don't know what 'that feels like."

"it hurts, a lot. Not to mention, it was from both angles." Rebecca frowned deeply. "Eventually I was numb to it, and during those two days, on occasion, they let me eat and drink some wine. Very fragrant wine, might i add. I don't get to drink anything of the sort usually." I hope she wasn't enjoying herself , Jules thought.

"I'll talk to my father, maybe with a threat, so he won't do this again."Jules slammed her fist on the table. Not on my watch.

Later that afternoon, she confronted her father.

"Father, I know you've been unfaithful." She came to him, after dinner, in his study. Her father looked up from his desk.

"Yes, you bared witness to some of it, i presume." He didn't seem that concerned about it at all. "That you weren't aware from before is a little surprising, but i guess you like to hang about in your own head sometimes." He raised an eyebrow. "i haven't really told your mother, but she's only my wife to bare me children, nothing more. I don't think it necessary, her opinion on the matter."

"I won't be scared to tell her about it."Jules stared at him seriously.

"What good do you think this kind of game would get you?"Her father stared back.

"I'd hope you'd leave Rebecca alone."

"but she's pretty, but don't you suppose we could find another?"Phillip laughed.

She didn't know what to do so she turned around and walked out. She had tried. hopefully Rebecca wouldn't get caught in more. She was wrong of course. Phillip and Jim, any time they had off between work and school, were on Rebecca like flees on a dog. Jules was lucky to see her once a week at tea time.

"You look sickly Rebecca."She had been treated less than human for two weeks, not given a lot of water of food, stuck in a room, terribly lit and was raped. Of course she looked sick.

Rebecca coughed. "I don't think i can really take this anymore."She didn't cry, she stared blankly at her hands, her friend hadn't helped her like she promised, she was on a verge to nothingness, feeling that nothing, deep, dark, despair. She showed her depression like a heavy black cloud pouring rain, drowning her. Jules had a massive guilt put upon her. Whether to fight her father on this or not, the option weren't great. She couldn't decide. She'd have to go to mother, who hopefully, had a more forgiving nature, because, after all, it wasn't Rebecca's fault.

Her mother seemed like a nice lady, but was holy virtuous, and bible thumping like a priest with a congregation but more like a crazy person with a sign that said "the end is nigh."

Jules knocked on her parents' door, she was not worried about her father being in there because she hadn't seen Rebecca the rest of the day.

"Yes."

"Mom, it's Jules." She didn't see her mom much, she liked to go to church a lot, and otherwise, just hung-out near her bookcase in her bedroom. They might of seen each other every once in awhile at dinner, if she didn't get it sent up.

"Come in."

"Mom, it's urgent, to do with father."

"Like what?"

"He's being unfaithful towards and I tell you this in good conscience, please, keep this private."

"Who with?"

"Our maid, Rebecca, but please help her, she's being forced."

"Anyone can make a good decision to get out of that situation. Her mother spouted.

"Not being married is a sin, and lying with another's husband, also a sin. It won't be tolerated. i will deal with them both in a manner that I deem fit." She didn't listen to reason. Oh no, Rebecca.

"You're dismissed. Be gone." Her mother waved her hand towards the door.
