Chapter 6: Chapter 6
The Week until his birthday seemed to fly by as harry spend most of his time reading and practicing magic and he had already finished up to the fifth year's course books. He learnt how to transfigure a pin into an animal and Sirius saw how great he was with his studies but was worried about how hard harry was pushing himself to learn and wanted to know why.
"Harry why are you working so hard "Sirius asked
"Voldermort will be back I knew that when we found the Horcrux inside of me. I know he must have made others we just need to find another one then I'll know how many more there is " Harry said " I need to be ready for when he comes back so I don't lose anyone else especially my mates, you and Remus" Harry said with a determined look on his face.
"Very well pup. Let me show you something then" Sirius said then turned into his anamagius form which was a large black dog. Sirius turned back after a little bit.
"You know harry your father and I were both anamagius, his was a stag some people call mine a grim. So you want to learn" Sirius asks.
"Hell yes" Harry said. Sirius and Harry talked about how to turn into an anamagius for about an hour before harry tried. Harry turned into a Small dragon with a crown shaped into his forehead. Harry tried to turn back into a human. Once Harry was human he let out a huge smile, that smile stopped he felt different. Harry focused on the changes and he could hear the people across the other side of the street, Harry put his hands over his ears when he noticed his glasses were making his eyes hurt, harry quickly took his glasses off and found he could see perfectly.
"Sirius I can see without my glasses and I can hear people across the street" harry said
"I guess you transforming into your anamagius forms has unlocked more of your creature inheritance.
"is that a good or bad thing"
"I think it will make it easier for you when you come into your full creature inheritances .
"That's good then. Harry starts thinking what else he needs to do to be able to protect his family. "Sirius did your family make you study an sword arts or something" Harry asked
"Every black had to learn a weapon I studied swords why want me to show you a little bit" Sirius asked Harry
"Yes please Sirius" Harry said and Sirius led harry to the back yard then went back inside for two wooden swords, Sirius then handed the wooden sword to harry. Sirius swung the sword a few times before for showing harry a few sword stances. Harry copied Sirius , once harry had them down which was instantly because of his instant mastery. Sirius faced harry.
"harry want to practice on me" Sirius asked harry. Harry nodded his head. Harry and Sirius faced each other and the practice started Harry took the first move by swinging his sword at Sirius not knowing it wasn't only his sight and hearing that had improved. Sirius saw how fast the wooden sword was coming at him and was surprised at how fast harry had learned, Sirius started taking this practice a bit more serious. Harry and Sirius were striking faster and parrying faster until it seemed like they were facing a life and death duel where harry was winning as the practice kept going harry was learning more and was reacting faster and faster until Sirius had to call it to a stop.
"Harry I need to stop" Sirius said they stopped and Sirius dropped to the ground just lying there trying to recover his breath, harry just stood there breathing heavily. "Harry I can't believe how fast you improve or how strong you are" Sirius said. Harry recalled how he felt much stronger, he lifted up his shirt and saw a bunch of muscles of his almost eleven year old body.
"This must have happened after I transformed" Harry said
"Yep must have been a side effect of your creature inheritance" Sirius said figuring that Harry's strength is part of the unlocked creature inheritance.
"Harry are you ready for your birthday party tomorrow" Sirius asked making harry focus on something else.
"Yes I am but I am nervous they are going to be there tomorrow Sirius my mates are going to be in the same room as me. Do I tell them they are my mates and if I do will they accept me or will they reject me" Harry said worrying about meeting his mates. "Sirius what if they already have a person they like and I see them together, just thinking about it makes me want to kill the person, how am I going to control the part of me that makes me wanted to be near them in case they are in danger. Sirius there is a part of me that feels they are in danger in their family and that if their family find out that they are my mates they might hurt them to get to me." Harry said feeling anger, worry, sadness and hatred before it faded as he took a couple of deep breaths trying to calm down. Sirius seeing harry so worried tried reassuring him.
"Harry sit down" Sirius said to harry. Harry does as he is told. "Harry I want you to close your eyes and imagine your mind is in a safe place like a castle or something I want you to pull all you memories and feelings into this castle, I want you to make it a safe as possible." Sirius said. Harry imagines a Castle where there are traps and monsters protrolling the grounds while inside in every room there are knights with swords guarding the doors. On the castle walls were canons ,rocket launchers and gatling guns, just in front of the walls were tanks. In the deepest part of the castle held four rooms with different guardians in each to guard all of Harry's Memories, Dreams, feelings and nature. The guardians were A Werewolf repesenting Remus, A Stag with its doe companion, A Large black dog growling and standing guard for intruders and finally a Large Dragon.Harry fills his castle then finally places all his memories, Dreams, feelings and his nature in the castle for safe protecting.
"Sirius I have done it" Harry said Sirius looks at harry in shock.
"Have what you have done just now is called occulency it hides your memories, your feelings, your dreams and your nature. Now this won't make you an emotionless person it's like a cover it helps you control your emotions and your nature so you can at least think before you act" Sirius said trying to make harry feeling a little relieved.
"Thank you Sirius" Harry said. Harry and Sirius headed back inside the house.
"I'm going to go to bed today has been physically and mentally draining" Harry said to Sirius. Sirius nods so harry headed up stairs, he goes to his room and collapses into his bed falling asleep instantly.
