"Yes!"
Then like watching a movie, the past memories started to play. I was standing in the same space however there were no dead bodies or humans anywhere instead there were demons all having a humanoid body but demonic features like a tail, horns and even bat wings.
"The summoning will begin, remember we are not to stop until our saviour has returned to save our race."
All the demons nodded their head in agreement.
"Whatever the cost we pay today the outcome will be the reward"
With that, they started chanting, however not all of them five stood outside of the circle that the other 12 demons formed and were posted I assume like guards. What I was confused about was there were no bodies or even humans where were they? What are the demons summoning anyway a saviour? I paused as I continue to watch, that can't be me. The ground began to rumble then a golden door opened and expanded to be as wide as several hoses lined up and that was when the humans started to race forward.
"Stop! Stop! You are going to be slaughtered!"
No one heard me and the army charged the red banners flying high as they rode on their horses? No, they weren't horses they were pegasi their brilliant white wings outstretched as they flew towards the circle.
The five demons took a stand not even batting an eyelid they stood in a fight position and as the arm neared them they attacked. It was a mass of flames and screams, yells and moans of agony all while the 12 demons kept chanting backs facing the war as the black creep through the circle of blood they had lain out. As expected the five demons were no match as they were torn down as the army mass attacked them.
One by one they fell with cheers form the humans than when the last one fell they advanced to the circle and with fear in the demon eyes they were killed one by one. As soon as there was one left to go he never stopped chanting his mouth was moving as fast as it could go but you could tell he was tired but as soon as the soldier raised his sword his mouth stopped and his last words before his head was cut off was "praise her."
It was if it was an activation charm cause the black circle started to light up. The humans were too late the summon was complete. An arm shot out of the soil drenched in blood than another the arms were no ordinary arms though they had black claws and black scales going up to her elbow, her body was being born from the earth and then she turned around and there I stood somehow it was me but not me.
I took a proper look at the main facial feature were the same such as face shape and body, however, a few things that I pointed out were completely different was the now I had long wavey white hair. Two horns coming out of the side of my head they went back then curved around like ram horns I had white markings on my face. The half-moon on my forehead along with two lines going across my nose and then also going down,
Then she spoke.
"Your sacrifice will not be in vain, I Empress of the undead channel the pain and suffering the regret of my fallen kin let me borrow your power to exterminate this evil that has fallen on this sacred land."
She clapped her hand and then black started to swirl from the dead body black wisps all came together forming a big ball. The head of the army came forward and shouted at her
"No matter what you will do the angels you will see that you will never win."
With his last sentence, she let go of the ball of black, and that was when everything went black as the army was blown up. I could only stand and watch as the bodies of the humans got destroyed.
