As the third full moon of the whole month rose up the void sky, the people of WenXi city have been busy preparing for the upcoming double celebration that they are going to uphold for tomorrow. The streets were filled with aroma of delicious foods cooked by the townsfolk, young, old, rich and poor people were gathered as one creating a sight of harmony and peace. YingLuo watched as the people continued their merry-making down below. She and FeiXian are going to tie the red knot on the cherry tree tomorrow but that doesn't make her more assured that trouble might never come. From the corner of the tower, FeiXian came out from the shadows bringing a plate of sliced pomegranates. He was about to suprise his wife-to-be since these past seven days, YingLuo have been demanding to him to climb a pomegranate tree and get some fruits for her to eat. But, as he saw the look in her eyes, FeiXian's giggly mood transformed into being serious and worried.
He slowly approached YingLuo and put the plate of sliced pomegranates on the side of the wall.
"Ah Ying..."
"Ah! F-FeiXian! What are you doing here?!"
FeiXian was surprised about his bride's reaction. And presumed that she had maybe thinking deeply.
"You know Na YingLuo, worrying is not good for our child."
"I was just thinking about something."
"Can you speak your thoughts to me?"
"I'm afraid it will do no good. FeiXian. Now if you'll excuse me. I'll eat those tray of pomegranates."
YingLuo walked up to the plate and was about to put one slice on her mouth when FeiXian stopped her by holding her wrist.
"Tomorrow I will become your husband and the next day up to the end of our lifetime, we will bear our burdens together. How can you bear the burden by yourself?"
YingLuo's anger was about to rise up. She couldn't move her hand to eat the pomegranate. While she wants to eat, FeiXian grips her wrist more tightly.
'Ah dammit. I want to eat!'
"FeiXian. I will speak my mind out but please.... I want to eat a slice! Can you give me a moment?"
"Uh... Ah... Sure wife... Uhh... Take your time!"
It hasn't been long until YingLuo finished all of the pomegranate slices from the tray leaving a burp after sitting by the wall once again.
"Are you done eating?"
"Yes."
"Well... What do you think about tomorrow's wedding?"
"I think... The wedding will succeed... Yes but... I feel that there's something... Far off..."
"Off... Like?"
"I feel that since we haven't been troubled by Wan MianSu or any of her servisitors for a day or a week, it just feels that something is really off."
"Wan MianSu. The immortal that betrayed XuanWu and Xuan Zheng."
"Exactly. It feels like as if something is going to happen tomorrow. I haven't heard from ayì Xuan Zheng up until now."
"I'm sure she's doing fine somehow."
"Y-yes. I hope so."

FeiXian threw his arms wide open and embraced YingLuo.
"If there would be trouble tomorrow, I wouldn't let anything happen to you or Xiaoxiao."

"Augh!" Gu XiNiang had awakened from a seemingly real nightmare. She gasped as she was catching her breath. After she had absorbed the power of the Aromatic Heart Arrow root, she had been feeling uneasy.
'That was real... The Goddess Ji Mei is going to rise up again. I should warn them... I should warn them...'
XiNiang hurriedly put on her robes and took her sword while rushing through the hall of Tao. She had no time to spare. She must warn Wei Yue and the others to prepare for the worst. Sweat trickled from her face drenching her robe wet as she passed on the hallways of TaoYan. As she was about to made her way to the exit, she heard a sound coming from the balcony of the second floor. The music of the flute was pleasing, calm and peaceful that she wanted to listen more. She was abit interested so she rushed up to the balcony and saw Asuro and RuoMin having tea with the person playing a black flute on her hand.
The woman who had long black hair wearing a black robe embroidered with white birds played the flute for a short moment until the last note...
"Asuro... RuoMin... Who is..."
"Forgive me for not introducing myself earlier. I sometimes introduce myself through playing this mournful instrument... I am JiuTian Xuan Zheng... The Goddess of Death."
"Then... You must bring a grave news..."
"Yes. I bring a terrible news. We have to go back to the mortal realm immediately."
"I dreamt about it too."
"You dreamt about it then you must have the power to stop it."
"I am Gu XiNiang. The direct descendant of the perpetrators of Ji Mei."
"So I see. You must finish what your ancestors had started or else, I forsee death to all Old Jianghu."
XiNiang and Xuan Zheng took no time in staying at the Dark Realm. The next day, they went back to the mortal realm. The festivities had already started so as the wedding ceremony held inside the WenGong hall. XiNiang could not control her fear. She was about to ruin the wedding when Xuan Zheng grabbed her by the arm and shook her head.
"We tell them after the ceremony."
"But there's no time."
"There will be time. I will tell them and you should go below the LanXue pavillion below WenXi city and cultivate the root. Only then you can stop Ji Mei."
"Xuan Zheng."
"Go. I'll catch up."
XiNiang ran outside the hall into the depths of WenXi city. She ran until she found a path leading steps down below. LanXue pavillion has a symbol of snow orchid just atop of it's contraption door. XiNiang spread her palms and touched the contraption. As her hands met the contraption's engraved sign, the door suddenly opened. XiNiang mustered up her courage. She went inside the pitch black room where the door shut behind her back. As she took few more steps, XiNiang caught glimpse of a brilliant light. Her eyes grew wide of what she had witnessed.
"The fountain of soul... It really exists."
