Taking a deep breath, MoXiao closed his eyes and concentrated. He slowly pulled the darts hitting the droplets of water that was falling from a nearby waterfall. He opened his eyes and took hold of his divine weapon tracing the shape of water. His movements were fluid and consistent where no droplets of water ever dropped from where he stood. Yet, most of the droplets were expelled from side to side.
LanRong saw this and wanted to bring him something to eat to nourish him for his training. On the way to the palace's kitchen, a mysterious man followed her and when she was at the entrance of the kitchen, she felt a strong hit on her back causing her to fall down unconscious.
'It's getting late. I told her to come here straight. Where is she?'
MoXiao wondered where LanRong may have been. He wasn't used to her getting lost on unfamiliar places since he was the one standing near her in the first place. He looked for her on the palace, the interior and exterior yet, she wasn't there. Anxiety filled his entire being as he realized that LanRong was nowhere to be found.
As his hope was wearing thin like a spider's web awaiting to be snapped, he went back to their chambers and saw a parchment on the table with a dart stuck on it's side. The note was purposely written as a sign of serious threat as he saw the letters were written using blood.
The note read:
If you want to see this woman alive. You will give me BeiYin's head.
Seething rage spun MoXiao's head as he crumpled the parchment and tore it to shreds. He knew who wrote the letter. There was one person that he always knew.
"You got away once, but not now…"
Transforming into his divine prowess, MoXiao sent a vibe in the air that alerted Wei Yue and BeiYin. If an immortal activates his divine prowess, other immortals are able to sense it's presence and locate it.
BeiYin and Wei Yue looked at each other and stood up in unison.
"That's not right."
"It definitely is not right."
Wei Yue and BeiYin soon rushed over outside the palace and felt a powerful aura coming from the back of the palace where the water training ground was located.
MoXiao flew wearing a golden robe shining against the moonlit night holding his divine weapon ascending towards the heavens of Shui Guo. The civilians are alerted by his appearance in the night sky and started to scramble and flank up the streets.
BeiYin was feeling uneasy so, she called upon the royal advisor to tell her people that the object in the sky was just a beacon of guidance to nearby sailors passing their island.
She then sent and edict to her subjects and made the people feel ease amidst confusion.
From his hand, MoXiao conjured golden dragons and set it all scouring below in search for LanRong. Wei Yue closed in on him as he finally set free the dragons which went into stealth.
"What's wrong MoXiao? You rarely use your divine prowess and now—"
"LanRong was abducted your highness. I suspect that the one who did that to LanRong was the same person that I fought during the retrieval of SiShao's corpse. That maniac takes advantage on women… Alive or dead. She's in real danger."
"Then, she's in real danger. We better find better find her quick."

LanRong awakened with her sight in total darkness. Her nape ached as she tried standing up but she could not do anything since her body was tied on some sort of invisible threads.
"Already awake, dear?"
"Who are you?! What do you want?"
"Heheh. You took away ayí's corpse from me yet you have forgotten me already?"
The stranger walked towards her. She heard footsteps closing in. She's an immortal yet her heart beats faster than before. Back inside the soul reconnaissance for Sishao's soul, she saw things that are very inhumane. The culprit did odious and sexual things to her lifeless body. Her body trembled as the stranger closed in behind her and felt his warm breath on her nape.
"Not so tough now are you? Back in the basement I saw you do something weird on my aunt's corpse. At first, I was confused about what you did but soon, I figured something out… Only immortals have such gift."
"You—! Why do you care? Let me go before I blast you off the roof!"
The stranger got mad and gripped her shoulders firmly. His long sharp nails buried on her flesh and blood slowly dripped from it.
"Blast me off the roof eh? HAHA! You are one amusing immortal. You're like a rabbit caught on a trap, am I supposed to expect that you can do something extraordinary?"
"I can't do anything right now but I assure you, if you kill me, MoXiao will surely kill you!"
"Heh. Kill you? Of course I won't. I'll just make you suffer… Very… Very... Slowly."
LanRong heard a knife pulled from it's sheath and afterwards felt it's tip hitting the sensitive flesh of her cheeks. The knife lowered down on her neck up to her robe and finally at the center of her chests. She felt her robe slowly torn by the knife tearing slowly on the outer robe. She felt her outer robe came off which made her filled with unease.
'Moxiao… Please… Hurry up.'

RuoMin stretched her hands reaching out to Asuro. He was stuck on a deep sleep eversince he returned back from inside the Black Dragon's Incense. Everytime she moves her hand away from Asuro, the waves emanating from the Nether storm outside grows larger. She had no choice but to stay put and stretch her hands like their lives depended on it. Fortunately, she got her guardian beasts accompanying her.
"Master, will the Shura ever wake up?" Yang-Yang asked as he helped his master put on a new pair of clothing.
"I hope that he does wake up. Look at outside, do you see those big clouds? That's called the Waves of the Nether Storm. If that thing gets in here, we'll all be dead."
"But master, what shall we do to wake him up in time the waves reach up here?" Yin-Yin asked.
"Let's have faith on His highness Wei and the others."
