Weak and shivering with coldness, XuanZheng returned to the necropolis. Her wings dragged behind her as she weakly tries to grab on the walls. She descended below to the lowest part of her tower. There, the ancient evil tree stood with prisoners frozen on each side.
XuanZheng did not care about the prisoners except one... Na ShaoTian.
She wiped the mist around the crystal with her hand. It revealed a man inside it and she cried...
"ShaoTian... Why couldn't you just love me? Why did you chose my sister instead of me?"
She reached out inside the frozen crystal and her hand passed through. She loved ShaoTian more than her life but when ShaoTian refused her love and chose her sister instead, she had gone berserk which burst out a war amongst the kingdoms in the human realm that killed many people. But, the real reason why she loved ShaoTian wasn't unconditional... ShaoTian was a cultivator and he possessed a Shangguan Longyan box which is filled with divine power. Before ShaoTian was captured, he was able to reduce the box into remnants and inserted it inside his own body.
XuanZheng reached out her hands inside the crystal and tried to extract the box out from ShaoTian's body but it was no use. Only the Na siblings can undo the seal and use the Shangguan Longyan box.
'Those filthy siblings!'
Her horrible shrill filled the whole necropolis. The ancient evil tree had awakened and she attached herself back to it's roots to restore her power that was depleted during the battle with her sister.
'Someday, I'll get my revenge against those sibling and finally destroy Old Jianghu!'

Burned houses and establishments greeted the common folk in Suzhou as the dawn broke. Wei Yue and the others focused on helping the townspeople who had lost their homes during the fire. Luckily, no one died when the fire razed and the people were very thankful of the heroes who helped them evacuate during the calamity.
Li An's heart could not contain her happiness as Wei Yue declared that they'll go back to their own kingdom and arrange the preparations for the alliance of kingdoms.
"We'll return the Kingdom of Jade Phoenix and then we'll go to Dragon Blade and discuss it's alliance."
Wei Yue laid out his plan precisely. Zhang Xiaoxing nodded in agreement. As the Dragon Blade Kingdom's envoy, it's his duty to bring the kingdom's name. Li An sat on the chair beside Zhang Xiaoxing but her heart was feeling uneasy. Zhao Min haven't returned yet. She clasped her hands and thought deeply. Zhao Min was Luo Na's close friends but if she poses a threat to the kingdoms and her friends, then...

Li An's concentration about her doubt broke as her attention got caught by Zhang Xiaoxing's tap by her arm.
"What are you thinking?"
"I'm fine. It's nothing."

Li An agreed and both excused themselves from Wei Yue.

'Those lovey dovey should stop displaying their affection publicly. I'm glad General Hua and Luo Na were more reserved than them.'
Wei Yue released a sigh. After a while, his eyes brimmed a serious aura. He thought about the missing girl from their group.

Luo Na opened her eyes and scrambled with panic grabbing her daggers swishing it back and forth.
"Xiao Na! Xiao Na! Where's my brother! Don't you dare harm my brother, you b*tch!"
Xian Hua and Xiao Na stared at each other.
"Sister I'm here!!"
Luo Na jumped away from the bed and checked every part of Xiao Na's body especially the one that XuanZheng scratched with her claw.
Xian Hua shook his head.
'It was just a scratch. Why go cuckoo about it?'
Seeing that Xiao Na was fine was a horse, Luo Na released a sigh of relief.
"Geez! Don't shock me like that, Xiao Na! Why did you let go of your dagger just like that? You could've get killed!"
"Well... If I didn't let go of my dagger, mother wouldn't have rescued us."
Luo Na's eyes widened.
'Mother? She appeared?'
Luo Na repeatedly shook Xiao Na's arm. She's dying to know what exactly happened last night.
"Oi Xiao Na! Tell me what really happened ah! What did mother do? Where were you? I saw you get wounded! You almost died!"
"Relax sis... Please relax... My body is sore from the bone-breaking therapy Xian Hua gave me... Please sis calm yourself! I will tell everything!"
'Bone breaking what?'
Luo Na turned her head to Xian Hua. Xian Hua put the basin with luke warm water on the table and hummed a tune whistling using his mouth.
"General Hua Xian! What did you do to my brotheeeeerrrr!!!!"
"Wh-what? He told me he wanted to be strong so I improved his physique by refining!"
Luo Na gave a chilling stare at Xian Hua. Xian Hua froze on his position.
'Ah this is bliss, being stared coldly by my lady is sure pure happiness!'

Luo Na thought inside her mind, everytime that they are in distress, their mother would always show herself and help them out. A gentle smile flashed on her lips.
Xian Hua was standing at their back and slowly walked outside when Luo Na shouted...
"Stop right there Hua Xian, we're not done yet. Xiao Na, give us some privacy please."
Xiao Na gulped saliva before leaving both of them...
Xian Hua looked at him intently gesturing movements like...
'Xiao Na don't leave me, this woman will surely torture me to death pleeease.'
Xiao Na grinned before exiting the room and shouted before closing the door shut.

A sigh escaped from JiuTian XuanWu's lips after seeing that her children are safe. She wanted to leave the ninth heaven and roam in the mortal world right away but Guan Yu and Zhuge Liang voted for her not to descend since XuanZheng's banishment would be ineffective if Gods would try to interfere with the mortal realm.
She stared cold daggers at Zhuge Liang who is currently sitting by a cloud swishing his fan back and forth smoothly.
She wanted to pass by her side but Zhuge Liang called her.
"It's a nice move. What you did back there was excellent."
He swayed his fan and gestured a clapping motion.
