Chapter 23: Chapter 22: Risen God
"Us the seven immortals prophesied something. A God will rise and old Jianghu will be saved from destruction." Brother Yao said sipping from a cup of tea which a servant girl had prepared.
"A God? But I thought the seven immortals were the ones that are truly powerful since they stopped the twin calamities?" Li An intruded to the conversation which was supposed to be Wei Yue's and Brother Yao's only.
Brother Yao shook his head in response. "We did the worst thing. We should've destroyed the twins once and for all." He stood up and took a book from the shelf behind him.
"The twin calamities are not really evil but they have been corrupted by greed, selfishness and arrogance. They are also considered as Goddesses long ago but they failed to uphold their duty." Brother Yao laid the thick book on the table in front of them and opened it. Scriptures appeared on the pages and with it, moving pictures depicted the destruction of old Jianghu and with the twins in it.
All of them gathered around except Li An and Zhang.
"Do you know them? The twin calamities?" Zhang asked her.
Li An's hands shook but she gripped her fist hard.
"They killed my family." Li An does not want to talk about the twins who mercilessly slaughtered his family so she went out of the room. Without a word, Zhang followed her outside.
"The God will be raised from death and will overthrow the twins. He will be showered with gold and his sword will slash any God may it be Buddha who will stand in his way." Wei Yue read exactly what the scriptures said until... They saw the next page.
"No way... I couldn't possibly..." General Hua backed off after seeing it. Luo Na also weakened causing her to fall to her knees.
"Sister Luo... Are you alright?" Zhao helped her up. She saw that her eyes were welling up in tears.
"Not again! Not again... I can't afford to lose him again!" Luo Na outrageously yelled and ran straight outside the room.
"Luo Na!" General Hua wanted to follow her but Wei Yue tapped his shoulder and shook his head.
"Let her be. Sometimes, we need to let wounds bleed for them to endure the pain and learn something from it."
General Hua couldn't do anything but just sat in a corner and reflect about everything that happened.
Brother Yao closed the book and put it back into the shelf. He had then knelt in front of General Hua and bowed his head.
"General. You are old Jianghu's last hope... Please... Save us all."
The others who are left in the room stared at General Hua and knelt including Wei Yue.
"I am nothing but an ordinary man and you should not kneel to an ordinary man like me."
After saying these words General Hua left the room and decided to find Luo Na.
He roamed around the pond where he first followed her but she's not there. He knew he wouldn't give her up.
He searched around for her until he found her at a shed beside the flower gardens. The sun was about to set and the fiery sunset's glow brighten up a side of Luo Na's face. The tears from beside her eyes glisten as it falls.
General Hua ran up to her and sat beside her.
"Do you know how far I ran just to find you?!" He said catching up his breath.
"Then you shouldn't have! In the end we'll both hurt each other so... Just let me go." Luo Na tried to walk away but he grabbed her hand and pulled her close to him.
"I wouldn't let go of the one that I love the most even if it kills or hurts me." He caressed her snow white face and traced his hands across her tears.
"Xian... I love you but you are destined for someone not like me. I'm too average for you. You deserve a Goddess since you'll become a God." Luo Na let go of his hand but he wrapped his arms around her body.
"When I said I loved you... You are already a Goddess to me."
Luo Na turned to face him and he initiated a kiss to her lips.
The sun was getting real low and the shed was in the middle of a flower garden with tall hedges. It got dark soon...
General Hua deepened the kiss which lasted for a few minutes like a wolf sinks his fangs into his prey. His kiss lowered into her neck and his hands traveled into her body. When she felt this, Luo Na pushed him away.
"What's wrong?" He asked her. It was the first time that she ignored him like that. But he wasn't very aware that Luo Na was in fact a virgin.
"I... I'm... It's my first time..." She said shyly.
"Don't worry. It's my first time too. I'll be gentle." He replied.
Luo Na felt his breath in her neck as he started to undress her slowly. With her outer robe removed, he carried her into the table between the shed and laid her there as he kisses her deeply. His hands made it's way into her temples and fondled it into the rhythm of her body.
The heat escalated quickly and soon after, he removed her inner clothing revealing the most magnificent body that he had ever seen.
He started removing his robe and crawled his way up into Luo Na's naked body. Luo Na felt a sensation which she never had felt before. A combination of pain and pleasure jolted as he went inside her. Their feelings are too intense to the point that they both moaned in the process.
"Luo Na... I'm... I'm...C-...Coming..."
"Xian Hua.... Xian Hua... I love you...."
AUUUGH UMMM HUUMMM AUUGHHH UUHHHGHHH AUUGHHMMM HMMM
Wei Yue walked beside the tall hedges and heard a strange sound of a peculiar animal.
"Seven Immortals Island had such peculiar animals... Maybe I should go over the hedge and look at it."
Wei Yue jumped and went over the hedge and to his suprise... The animal stopped it's peculiar voice.
"Hmm... Maybe it ran away?" He said as he walked along the flower gardens.
"Oh look. There's a shed over there. Maybe I could rest there and drink tea for tomorrow. I'm going to go and take a look."
He decides to take a peek at the bushes and when he did, his eyeballs were about to pop out of his eye sockets.
He ran and went over again to the hedge and then went inside the room where they would stay for the night...
Elaa lit a lamp at the outside and saw Wei Yue ran up to her out of breath...
"Your highness, you look pale did something happen?" She said as she assisted Wei Yue inside the room.
"I just saw a strange animal with four legs crossed at each other and two heads attached in one body..."
Elaa scratched her head in confusion. He thought that Wei Yue was just hallucinating so she just let the matter pass by.
"Wow strange animal it is." She replied.
Wei Yue then went inside the room and told everyone what he saw behind the hedges. All of then were in disbelief except Li An who laughed harder than anyone in the room.
"Is something funny?" Wei Yue asked her.
"Aherm. No you're highness." Li An stopped laughing when General Hua and Luo Na both arrived inside the room.
"I knew it!" Li An laughed and everyone stared General Hua and Luo Na.
