Chapter 3: Travel Plans 2
" Spain it is! " Angela, the girls' mother, exclaimed.
The family wiped the tears in their eyes and plastered the biggest smile on their face that they could at that time. They all hugged each other one last time before venturing back out of the hospital once more to set their plans.
The Parks were no where near a wealthy family, but they had something that they thought was better : a loving family. This trip to Spain might cost them a fortune and would set back their bills, but at that time it didn't matter. They wanted Lilith to spend her last days carefree and so this trip to Spain was nothing to them.
Once back at their home they quick gathered all the cash they could at that time and started discussing plans. The parents looking at brochures they found on the way and Emily looking at travel packages online as her sister slept in her lap. Each one looking up to check on Lilith every few seconds as she napped peacefully.
"We could take a boat over there and the ride by train to travel where ever we go next. The closest embankment point they have though is new Orleans. We'd have to fly about three hours to get there." Emily said while playing with Lilith's hair in her spare hand.
" I don't think we've ever flown that far. " Angela said with excitement and a hint of worry evident in her voice.
