Chapter 13: Get Her To Her Room Before She...
Jack was longing to know this girl he just met. She seemed so mysterious and his brother was too possessive of her, why? He only got this way when an object held great power or value. He could see her external value, being a goddess like woman, but what was her power? He sat contemplating while poor Lucien was having to wrestle the very enthusiastic Sera. It seemed like this woman was very friendly once she drank. "I need help she's too aggressive." Lucien felt besieged and begged his brother for assistance. At that moment Jack got up and walked toward the bar to get another drink.
Seeing his brother leave him with this girl Lucien got aggravated and wanted to punch something. 'How dare he treat me this way. I'm his future leader after all.' Lucien grumbled proudly to himself. "Come on, I just wanna pinch your cheeks. Let me kiss your cheeks. Come here cheeky." Sera was giggling like a school girl. Lucien realized this girl doesn't drink much and she needed to sober up fast before she embarrassed herself. " oooh. I love this song come on let's dance." Before Lucien could respond she was already on the dance floor.
Just as he was about to grab her he noticed her movements. It was hypnotic and alluring. He wanted to dance with her as he watched her rhythmically move to the music. Lucien, as if under a spell, joined her on the dance floor and danced along with her. Their movements were in sync and looked fluid. Others took notice of the pair on the dance floor and stopped dancing to watch. It was as if they were the only people in the room and the music was made for this very dance. Once the music changed the moment faded and Sera was left dancing to the wrong beat.
Lucien chose this minute to lead her off of the dance floor and back to their seats. Back at the table Jack was sulking with his drinks. He ordered a coffee for Sera to sober up, another whiskey and coke for Lucien and a whiskey sour for himself. He saw the show on the dance floor and had to pacify himself with his drink in order to keep from punching him in the face. He didn't know why, but seeing Lucien with Sera made his blood boil. He only got relief from his mood, when he saw them walking/stumbling back.
Sera's face lit up when she saw jack and she then took Lucien's drink and sipped it. "Yum, what is this!?!" She questioned cutely. Lucien's eyes got wide and he exclaimed, "That's my drink!" Unfortunately for him that brought her attention back to wanting to molest him. "Oh, your face is so pretty" she said as she sat in his lap and caressed his face. This action made Lucien uneasy and sexually excited. An attractive woman half dressed and freely bouncing on his lap. What man could survive this kind of attack? A saint of a man that's who. Lucien definitely was no saint, but he didn't act like this either. "Jack! We need to get her upstairs and into her room before she embarrasses herself completely." Lucien loudly called over to Jack. As soon as he heard that he was up and helping get Sera off of his brothers lap.
It took both of them to get her across the room and up the stairs. Her face was already very red and sweaty due to her drunken state. Once at her bedroom door Lucien motioned for his brother to open the door, so he could carry her inside. Jack had another plan and lifted Sera then opened the door then went into the room. As he entered the room he snapped his fingers and lights popped on. His eyes widened when he saw how plain her room was. Don't girls her age have a ton of stuff? And is t that stuff then strewn about the room? Her belongings were all neat and organized. Everything had a section and nothing was overwhelming. He enjoyed this room very much and wanted to stay here awhile, but how?
Lucien saw the look on his brothers face and he could sense that Jack was developing a crush. This was unacceptable and had to be dealt with secretly.
