Casino Situation-9
It was two days since the incident in the dessert happened and Raxdos felt like going gambling, not in the mood for another bike ride.
This time he chose a more high end casino and since it had a dress code, Raxdos had to dress a lot nicer than usual.
He chose a black suit jacket, black trousers, white shirt and a red tie which paired with his sunglasses and build made him look more like a bodyguard than anything else. He came riding one of the most prized bikes in his collection; a vintage custom made Harley Davidson.
The roar of the engine attracted the attention of many bystanders, as a classic motorcycle didn't exactly fit in with the other modern sports cars.
Since he arrived pretty late he took the last parking spot, right before a luxurious Aston Martin had arrived.
After turning off the engine and taking his helmet off the driver of the Aston got out accompanied by a beautiful red haired woman, both of them headed in his direction.
"Um buddy, sorry to bother you but can you move your bike? I want this gorgeous lady and I to have a fantastic time tonight and I don't want this to be the start of it." The man took out a big stack of hundred dollar bills and threw them in Raxdos's lap.
Raxdos looked back at the man, who was quite built to his surprise, picked up the money and threw it on the floor.
He then got up and turned his back away from the duo, not saying anything the entire time.
"I'm sorry sir, but do you know who that man is?" One of the parking attendants saw the scene and ran to stop Raxdos.
"I couldn't give less of a shit." Raxdos replied and pushed the attendant out of the way.
"B-but that man is Bruce Wayne sir, are you sure about this?" Said the attendant with his hand on Raxdos's shoulder.
"Bruce Wayne? Well it's nice to meet you Bruce, name's Raxdos if you ever want to find me." Raxdos said giving Bruce and the woman next to him a glance.
As Raxdos left to go inside the casino Bruce let go of the woman next to him, not really believing his bad luck right now. He took Barbara(aka Batgirl) to bust a deal between Two-Face and Penguin, only to run into the so called Raxdos who wasn't even hiding his name.
It wasn't even a question wether it was someone else with the same name because... who the hell is also called Raxdos on this planet? It was just too much of a peculiar name, and the location where he ran into Supergirl isn't that far from Gotham.
"Barbara, I didn't tell you and the others about him yet but that man we ran into is a lot more dangerous than you might think."
Bruce's words made Barbara raise an eyebrow in surprise, it wasn't just any day that Bruce called someone dangerous.
"How dangerous exactly?" She asked.
"Giving Darkseid a one sided beat-down without breaking a sweat-kind of dangerous. What he's doing here right now... well I have no idea.
Let's continue as planned, I believe he's trying to blend in with everyone else right now so he shouldn't interfere with our mission."
Barbara gulped at the answer she received and nodded, hoping that Bruce was right.
-2 hours later-
It is currently midnight and the deal that Barbara and Bruce are planning to bust should happen in about an hour, though right now they are distracted by something else.
More like someone else- Raxdos was attracting a lot of attention because of the amount of money he is winning.
Batman tried seeing through his tricks as he is a confident gambler himself, but even after 10 or so games he can't figure out what Raxdos is doing. The duo kept watch on the time and Raxdos at the same time, and because of the previous scene Barbara thought him to be kind of a dick.
After seeing how he treats the women at the casino she changed her mind, he also spoke to staff without any 'rich playboy' airs despite wearing a suit that cost more than what any of the staff got in a year.
"Bruce, you guys wanted to get more information on this guy right? How about I talk to him and see if he slips because of the alcohol?"
"Alright, but be careful." Her idea didn't sound too bad and they could be killing two birds in one night.
She nodded and walked over to Raxdos who took a little break from the gambling and was enjoying a drink by the bar, alone.
