Chapter 139: Crossed the line

"So Nora. I heard you and Ryan are in the same college." Raina spoke as she took her first bite from her dessert cup.

Nora had not started with her dessert, but hearing that question, she politely put her cup down and answered her questions. "Yes ma'am." 

"Same course?"

"Yes ma'am." With a blank face she slowly replied. 

She knew that the thing she was worried about was about to start. Nora herself was stunned that Raina stopped herself for this long. Moreover this time Raina isn't taking the direct route which she usually used to do, instead she is taking a roundabout manner before what she wants or what she actually wants to say. 

"You have been here for so long but only today have you got the time to meet me? That sounds upsetting." Raina commented to which Karan almost scoffed.
