Chapter 6: The Seven Deadly Sins
The tragedy Ender witnessed in the Fairy King Forest was unimaginable.
The problems started from there.
When Ender saw the red demon, something in his mind was drawing him to fight. He was losing his reasoning. It was the same feeling he had during the Holy War when Melascula was sealed and now it got stronger.
Ender started having trouble sleeping and when he did, he always stayed far away from civilization because after the Enderman woke up the surrounding area was destroyed the next day. Fortunately, Ender never stayed near villages and teleported away when he really needed to sleep.
Demons had to sleep but not every day.
When Ender remembered who he was he started working on a project he always wanted to do.
He knew that each Sin had a weapon so why couldn't he make his own? That's when Ender worked on creating something that would be one of a kind.
His own sacred treasure.
During that time he didn't interact with people anymore as he still felt guilty for abandoning Elaine and Ban even though he knew that Ban would live. Ender blamed himself for leaving Elaine to die.
He could have saved her.
Unfortunately for Ender, the dreams started to become intolerable that he couldn't concentrate or worse fearing he could kill some unfortunate fool. So the Enderman made a plan to work on the weapon without him knowing.
He wrote the constructions on a piece of paper for himself to follow.
With that, he could work on his treasure and protect himself from the nightmares.
So Ender closed his mind once again, hoping he could find a cure the next time he remembered.
Time flew by while Ender worked on his sacred treasure.
Then one day Ender felt being pulled in a certain direction. It was a place Ender heard about, Danafor.
It was only when he saw her, did Ender remember what would happen. It was Liz, the reincarnation of Elizabeth. Remembering what will happen, Ender tried with all his might to go to her and Meliodas and tell him what would happen. He wanted the curse to break, but the curse forced him to stay hidden, watching his best friend looking so happy with his girlfriend.
"Damm you Demon King and Supreme Deity. It is all your fault that this happened. If only you had fucked each other earlier," Ende muttered the same sentence the last time he had an encounter with the Gods. "Did you hear something, Liz?" asked Meliodas. Liz shook her head. Both continued their date.
Ender POV
I felt like a stalker. Watching from far away, how my best friends lived their lives not being able to interact with them. Then I saw something in the shadows. It was faint but I could feel the demonic energy. It was Fraudrin lurking in a dark space, so I decided to have a chat with an old acquaintance. Teleporting behind the demon I whispered in Fraudrin's ear.
"I didn't think you were a stalker, Fraudrin? Looking at our former captain's love life." Fraudrin quickly turned around and tried to pierce the intruder with his hand. Instead, he was pierced and flung meters away. "Man, you don't learn it, do you? You should first look at the person you are talking to and then decide to attack him."
Fraudrin finally stood up and looked at me. "So it is you, Ender-sama. Forgive me for attacking you. I didn't expect you to be alive." I knew why Fraudrin had such respect for me. I was an original commandment and the only one alive right now and therefore in a higher position than Fraudrin. It was only right for him to be like that.
"Of course I am alive. Did you think those puny Goddesses could seal me away? You know what my commandment does, don't you Fraudrin?" Fraudrin nodded. "So what are you doing here?" I asked him.
"I was looking to find a way to kill the traitor and his wife. I found the key and can open the seal. With you here Ender-sama we could surely do it, right?" asked Fraudrin. I just shook his head: "I can't Fraudrin. The Demon King tasked me to watch Meliodas for the whole time. I am unable to help you." I couldn't tell him the truth so I lied.
"Don't think that this is my first time seeing Meliodas with one of his new lovers. I have lived for the whole 3000 years seeing him. You are on your own Fraudrin but I will warn you. Meliodas had watched for over 3000 years how each one of them died. If he sees you killing her in the blood ritual than not even I can help you survive his wrath," I explained.
Fraudrin shuddered, but he was ready to do it. His hate for Meliodas betraying the clan and the need for resurrecting the clan was bigger than his own life.
And so I watched from afar as Fraudrin sacrificed the citizens of Danafor and killed Liz. When Meliodas saw Elizabeth's body he lost to his anger, obliterated the whole Kingdom. I watched from the clouds as out of the smoke Meliodas came out with a baby in his hands. I smiled seeing Elizabeth being reborn again.
Hoping that this would be the last reincarnation I had to face. Maybe I could even interact with her. I dismissed this last thought instantly.
General POV
Unbeknown to Ender the curse which was given to him was partly lifted as another candidate was chosen to monitor Meliodas. A pig named Hawk.
Ender left the ruins of Danafor to continue on his sacred treasure, not even bothering looking for Fraudrin. He was foolish enough and needed to learn his lesson. Both of them had the same thing to do but Ender was not stupid and waited for the right moment.
4 years went by and Ender watched from the shadows as the Seven Deadly Sins were created. Even though his curse was lifted, Ender still believed it to be there, so he didn't even try to come closer but even if he knew about the curse, he was not the Ender 3000 years ago.
The Enderman didn't know what to do if he would meet them. Although Ender had many interactions with most of the Sins, nobody mentioned him during their time.
Then came the day when the Sins were called to go to the Kingdom of Edinburgh as vampires plagued it. It was also the time when Ender teleported to the kingdom to stroll around as he wanted to do something. Many vampires noticed the Enderman and they immediately attacked him only to be killed by their attacks.
"Man, no wonder they tried to start a rebellion with us. They are dumb as hell." Ender laughed as he watched them but frowned when he saw the blood. "I hope you won't say that in front of my face, Ender," said a voice coming from the top.
Ender looked up and grinned as he jumped to her. "Long time no see what, Gelda?" Gelda smiled, seeing the demon. "Yes, it has been like what, 3000 years?"
Silence.
Then both started to laugh. "Well, only me and your boyfriend knew what happened when the vampire clan rebelled," said Ender. "That is true. You were with Zeldris when he sealed us away instead of killing us," agreed Gelda. "And he is not my boyfriend."
"Yeah, sure, he loved you so much he didn't want to lose you. After that, he threatened me that if I tell anyone about what had happened, he would kill me and I knew that my commandment wouldn't help me," explained Ender with a smile.
Gelda smiled: "So why have you come, Ender? It surely isn't because I came out of slumber?" Ender shook his head: "No, it was just luck and to tell you that the Seven Deadly Sins are coming."
Gelda looked at Ender curious: "And who are they?"
Ender looked at the direction where he could see seven people coming closer: "They are a bunch of people. Each different from the other and their leader is no other than Zeldris' brother and my best friend, Meliodas." Gelda looked at Enders' direction: "So he will kill us all right?"
Ender looked down: "And I can't even help you. Always the coward, huh? But maybe if you tell Meliodas who you are then maybe he could change his mind." Gelda nodded. "Thank you, Ender." Ender smiled and walked away.
As Ender walked around a corner, he bumped into a person. "Hey watch it. I am the strongest of all Sins, I am Escanor." Ender looked at the small human that stood before him. If he didn't know better than he would laugh at him. But the Enderman knew who the small human was.
Before him stood Escanor, the Lion Sin of Pride. Ender bowed: "I am sorry if I hurt you. I was on my way home and didn't see you. Could you accept my apology?"
It shocked Escanor to see someone talking so respectfully to him in this form. Usually, people would laugh, but this black person even tried to apologize. "No, it is all right. I didn't see you as well. Please forgive me, but I have to find my captain. Could you please tell me your name?"
Ender smiled: "Sure. My name is Ender. Nice to meet you." Escanor smiled back and left in a hurry.
Not wanting to be seen by others, he took a black mantle from a vampire to cover himself. He was glad that the next person didn't see his appearance but curse inwards at who it was.
"My, you sure are hard to notice with that weak power level. I didn't know vampires could be so weak," said Merlin. Ender pointed his black middle finger behind the cover at her and tried to speak in a high-pitched voice, trying to disguise himself further. "You tell that to yourselves you spoiled, little girl. Go back to your mommy so she can tell you how to speak with their elders. Have you no shame?"
That seemed to not work as it only angered Merlin and she shot an exterminate ray at him only to be bounced back at her. Ender took the time to run but not before saying: "That's what you get you, stupid girl. Think twice before you attack me, hahaha!"
As Ender left, he didn't see Merlin's shocked expression. "No, impossible. He can't be alive."
Ender ran but fell. "Why the heck is there a person lying on the ground?" asked Ender as he looked down. His anger soon vanished as he saw Ban lying on the ground probably drunk. "Hey man. I have little strength. Could you give me some of yours," said Ban with a drunken voice.
"I don't have time to talk to you, drunken idiot. You shouldn't have drunk so much." Ban stood up: "Well, you don't have a say in here, snatch!"
Ender felt a force invading his body but his commandment quickly repelled it. "Hey what the hell why am I weaker than before? It should have stolen your strength."
Ender smiled under his disguise at Ban: "Yeah that's what they all say about me. Think before you do something Ban, or it will end like in the forest."
Ender jumped down not seeing Ban's expression. "No, it can't be him. Dammit! If only I could move. Curse you, Ender!"
Ender, on the other hand, was panicking. 'Why can't I teleport? Is something blocking it?'
Somewhere in a faraway galaxy, a person was laughing while writing the misfortune of a certain Enderman.
Then Ender heard a voice screaming: "Damm you. What the hell are you?"
Ender followed the voice and soon came to the place where a buffed Escanor stood next to the vampire king. Ender, for whatever reason, decided to jump into the conversation. "Well, if you ask me, I am Ender." Both turned around as they saw Ender calmly walking towards them.
"You! You are that coward demon that stood by watching us being sealed! You didn't even dare to fight us back then," shouted the vampire king as he remembered the black figure.
Ender just shrugged, frowning deep inside as the vampire made him remember the past. "Ender, why are you here?" asked Escanor. Ender shrugged: "I got lost on the road of life and I couldn't find the exit of this place. Heard someone cry, so I came here."
Before Escanor could respond the vampire king attacked him but was destroyed by sunshine. The attack continued to Ender who just stood still. "No, Ender, dodge!" shouted Escanor. As soon as the light touched Ender, the matter smirked:
"Repel."
And it was sent back. "Wow. That brought back memories of a certain archangel. May he rot in..., oh wait he is alive," muttered Ender.
Escanor looked as if he was seeing a ghost. He didn't believe his eyes as his attack was sent back to him. "What are you, Ender?" asked Escanor.
Ender saw the exit and ran towards it shouting to Escanor while holding his index finger up: "During the day you are the stronger human, Escanor, but I am the pinnacle of the demon clan. Ender the coward. Remember my name!"
