Chapter 5: Ming Dao and Grandfather Zhang Gong and family settlement.....
After knowing about her treasure red jade space Su lin many time in her conscious enter space and talks with Taotao....Gradually Su lin starts to know more amazing things about space...After 20 days they finally reached Ming Dao village..
Grand father Zhang gong already makes arrangements for their living...he also prepared a reknown physician for looking into Su Jins hands Nd Su lins face...Physician also says same thing....about them...but Su lin knew she can cure her face...and now its going to be more easy with the help of space herbs. ..She is tensed about her father...but she thinks she will surely try to find a way to cure her father....
After letting physician leave family starts to think what to do for future income...after discussion they decides to buy some plot s for home and farming and buy 3 shops which will be run by the servants which they brought and grandfather gong and Su lai would be in charge...
Grand father Gong as a scholar and an official wants his all grandchildren to be educated...everyone agreed with it...so he made arrangements for them to enrol in school in Dong Tan ...because Su ting is only four years old he will start his school after one year...School is far from Ming Dai village, they have to use horse carriage...so they kept their carriage with them and Asan is posted as carriage driver for Su siblings...
They will start their school after one month...after new year celebration...So Su siblings decides to explore the village, mountain and sea side....
After settling every matter they starts to relax themselves....now it's more than one month Su lin came to this ancient world...and she discovered red jade space more than 20 days...she accepted her new family and life...Her wounds are almost clear...with her new knowledge she came to understand that many foods and vegetables are not in this new world...though she has some in space but it will be very awkward if she uses them...For examples people in this time not familiar with carrot, potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli and many more.. ...And many food delicacies like cakes cookies are not common... Though foods are delicious but she misses them...she gets family love from them, so she decides to treat them with her knowledge...but the problem is that no family members are allowing her to cook....So after so much of persuasion her mother agreed but she says Su lin has to take Yun as helper....
After getting her mothers consent she starts to decide on menu...She decides to do one soup dish, spring rolls , dumplings, roasted chicken, salted duck, fried rice and sweet and sour
pork...though some dishes are new to Yun
, but she doesn't say much,,as they all decides to eat Su lins dish as she is cooking for them.. ...Su lin also decides to do peach cake and banana pancake with honey....Su lin decides the menu with consideration with available foods and vegetables.. she decides later on she will think of a way to use her space fruits and vegetables...
She starts her preparation with full enthusiasm...She let Yun help her managing fire ...as there is no modern gas stove...or other material.. .after working for three hour she is able to create her desired menu.....When she presents her dishes to everyone, all are shocked by its looks and its aroma...they are so tempted. ..they thought how it will test....
so start to dig in....when they tests the food they are so overwhelmed with its test...Though to create those dishes ,Su lin cheats in tiny miny things like using space water, rice, vegetables,,she does it when Yun wasbusy with litting wooden fire...
After they finished their dishes she presents her desserts which shocks them more...Su lai becomes suspicious as when her daughter starts learn new dishes which she even know and for whom...Su lin knows about cooking but not so news dishes and her skills improved so much.. ..New su lin as an orphan has to cook for her self and as a foody she knows new dishes....Su lai asks about her new cooking knowledge....then she realise what blunder she makes...So she says lie about reading recipes in a book in capital butwas not able to try them as she was sick...everyone becomes emotional and decides to not think about past...
After happy meal, her younger brother praises her so much for her cakes and pancakes..as he has a sweet teeth .. So su lin decides to treat her younger brother again later on with more sweet delicacies...
Su siblings decides to explore their village and surroundings from tomorrow morning.....
