Chapter 394: Vengeance (Part 1)

Ye Chen hung up and then put out the cigarette.

It was extremely quiet on the balcony, but it felt like the calm before the storm. 

He then returned to his room and took out the Hundred-Herb Cauldron, using the best herbs to refine an elixir.

For his mother's injuries, an elixir would be more useful than pills. 

Then, he knocked on his mother's door with the elixir in hand.

Puzzled, Jiang Rong opened the door, and was about to say something when Ye Chen spoke up.

"Mom, drink this elixir later. It will heal your injuries. Also, I'm going out for a while and might come back late. Don't wait for me for dinner tonight."

"Little Chen, where are you going?"

Ye Chen smiled like a spring breeze.

"Mom, someone owes me something, so I'm going to get it back."

With that, he turned around and left.
