Chapter 203: A fresh beginning

Reuben smiled at her reply and moved closer, but she was too full of herself to step back and just waited.

Waiting to see what he's up to.

She should just drop the back and turn to leave but she couldn't. Her leg wouldn't move.

She had come because he didn't call her and a part of her wondered if she had resisted too long and he had given up.

In the blink of an eye, his hand snakes around her waist and he pulls her inside, shutting the door firmly.

"What are you doing?" Ella asked, feeling her body pressed to his firm and strong one.

Her blood rushed because she really felt unsettled. She wasn't sure about what she's doing right now.

Rueben ignored her question. He gaze down at her and she was looking up at him.

She gave him a questioning yet nervous look. The tip of his finger reached up to tucked the few strands of her hair that had fallen on her face, behind her ear and smiled softly at her.
