Chapter 18: Addams in Gotham
At CatCo. we can see Kronos and Kaguya sitting at one of the breakrooms talking to one and another as they wait for Linda.
"Kaguya how long do you think she will take." Kronos
"Now now Darling you need to be more patience, after all, what kind of time god doesn't have any patience, you literally have all the time in the world. It's not like wasting time is something you should worry about, just this morning you spent an hour opening and closing tour mouth, I'm pretty sure we can wait some more." Kaguya
Embarrass Kronos laughs in self-deprivation as he can't say anything in his defense because to him time is no longer a concept or a measurement but now is a wonky road that goes everywhere and nowhere it messes up any sense of time he had and makes him impatience as he can't really tell how much time past.
"Haha, you're right." Kronos
After that, they kept talking to one and another until an out of breath Linda came into the room.
See her like this both Kaguya and Kronos were confused because to them she shouldn't be exhausted or need to act that way infont of them.
"How are you out of breath? Aren't you an all-powerful alien plant?"Kronos
Hearing his words Linda was taken aback being called an all-powerful alien plant by a god that should be an all-powerful being in itself but she regained her composure after a brief pause.
"Well, something came up and had to hurry over here. But before we continue to talk can we talk somewhere more private." Linda
Listening to her Kronos shook his head in agreement. Getting up he held out his hand to help up Kaguya from her chair before he started to speak to Linda.
"Sure, let's go to my home." Kronos
Hearing his offer Linda agreed readily as in her memories from looking through Galatea's eyes the inside of his house was a big and beautiful palace despite having the rundown look from outside she saw before when she secretly followed him.
As they are walking to Kronos home at Gotham City we can see an odd group of people walking down the streets with smiles on their faces.
"Oh, Gomez how did we not find this city much earlier. It is so perfect for us, just look at that park it's like the other five we passed so gloomily and depressing." Morticia
"Yes Trish it's perfect and some people here have some of the most interesting sense of fashion and names." Gomez
As the two talk to one and another, the other members of their family were looking around until they were stopped by a man with a gun pointed at them.
Holding the gun to the group of oddballs infont of him he started to talk with a deep voice that seems to be fake.
"Give me all your money if none of you want to be hurt." Man
As the man was looking at the group he failed to notice a hand quietly and quickly climbing up his side where he was holding his gun.
Noticing something pulling on his clothes the man turns his face to see what it was but what he saw shocked him greatly as it was a severed hand moving on its own. Seeing the hand claiming up his clothes the man try to shack it off but with no luck and it kept claiming until it had reached his face and attack him by squeezing his face tightly not letting breathe by blockading his airways with its palm.
Seeing this the family that was posted to be in a robbery at gunpoint doesn't seem to react and are looking at this scene like this is a common sight they seen every other day.
As the hand and the man were in a struggle a little chubby blonde boy in the group spoked up.
"Man this is unfair why does Thing get all the fun. I want to play knockout the robber next." Pugsley
Hearing her son's words Morticia walked up to him and patted his head.
Now now, Pugsley you know that Thing doesn't get to play much outside with other people just let Thing be he needs the exercise." Morticia
"She's right Pugsley just yesterday I saw Thing tapping at the window just waiting to be let out." Gomez
As they were talking Thing returned to the family with the man's gun leaving the man pass out behind him with a red handprint on his face.
Seeing Thing returned a skinny little girl with black hair picked him up and took the gun from him in her other hand.
"Oh, now Thing you know better, you can't take away other people's toys like that." Wednesday
Hearing her words the hand hang down its fingers and palm to show it understood her and was sorry for its mistake.
Seeing Thing act like that the little girl tossed the gun back to the past out man before patting the hand on Thing's knuckles.
"There there Thing you don't need to be so down I know it was an honest mistake but we don't need any more toys we have enough back home." Wednesday
"She right old boy and that gun doesn't even work if it did then when little Wednesday through the gun it should have gone off but it didn't. Now cheer up and let's go home." Gomez
As Gomez finish talking the woman of the group spoke up as once more as if she remembers something.
"Oh, Gomez what are we going to do about this passed out man." Morticia
"Huh oh right Lurch, take this man to the park he should wake up in a serene and beautiful location after a good nap after all he did get a good workout playing with Thing." Gomez
Hearing his words a tall and large man that looks like Frankenstein's monster in a butler outfit just let out a groan as a sigh of agreement before he picking up the past out man logging him over his shoulder as he started to take him to a neighborly park.
Seeing his butler walk away Gomez had a smile while chuckling a little.
"Ah, just look at Lurch go, butlering at it's finest." Gomez
"You're right Gomez, we should give him a raise." Morticia
"No, I can't Trish." Gomez
"Oh, and whys that?" Morticia
"He's too proud to let me, last time I tried to give him a raise he threw a hissy fit and only took it after giving him a promise that I won't give him a raise unless he asks for it." Gomez
"Oh, now that you mentioned it I remember it now it was on that day when the house started to shake violently without the help of Pugsley or Uncle Fester explosions." Morticia
As they were talking Lurch returned shortly after taking the man away, seeing him returned they welcome him back before going back home.
