Chapter 15: Home Invasion
Late at night in one of the many apartments at National City, we can see Linda and Megan inside a bedroom while the other girls from their earlier meetings are in the living room.
Linda laid on her bed while closing her eyes to fall asleep. Megan waited for half an hour before she moved her hand on to Linda's head.
As Megan did that she had a concentrated look on her face and little sweat started to form on her head, this last for ten minutes until she opened her eyes with a smile on her face for a moment but quickly turned into a frown.
Leaving Linda's room Megan went to the living room where the other girls were and started to talk to them.
"I found the link brain wave but I can't find where it leads to, the most I could do is aloud other people to see what is Linda is seeing. I just enter to look around for clues to find where the other end the connection is but couldn't find anything." Megan
Hearing her words the other girls in the room understood that she was asking for help. The first to speak out her agreement to help was Barbara than the others.
After everyone agreed to help find clues they went back into Linda's room and found places to sit as Megan set up a mental link with everyone before they entered Linda's mind.
When they entered Linda's mind they found themselves in a fancy decorated hallway larger than most they ever saw.
Looking around they found nothing that can help them figure out where they are and the only people they can see are maids and a mature Linda was walking with bottles of alcohol.
The first one to speak of the six was Raven as she saw the bottles in Galatea's hands.
"Look she's holding enchanted wine, we are probably inside a supernatural home." Raven
Hearing her words Zatanna quickly looked at the bottles in amazement.
"She's right and they're good wine along with the enchantments they should taste heavily, I kinda want a bottle and if I'm not wrong with one sip alone even people like WonderWoman could probably get buzzed by it." Zatanna
After hearing the two Barbara looked at the bottle then at them before she voiced out her concerns.
"Do any of you two know where to buy these enchanted wine bottles." Barbara
Shaking their heads Zatanna was the first to answer.
"No, enchanted wine bottles are hard to make and are bought anonymously." Zatanna
"That not even speak about the fact that those enchantments shouldn't be possible to put on just regular wine bottles. Like how did they put an infinite amount enchantment and perfectly aging enchantment at the same time." Raven
As they were talking about the wind bottle they following Galatea to a living room area where she put the bottle down at a table where six people sat. When the bottle was sat down at the table she moved behind a beautiful woman with white skin and horns on her head.
The girls seeing the living room were amazed by its beauty and the people around the table. They saw some familiar face such as Kronos, Kaguya, Tier, and Cyan but Tier and Cyan look different as Tier has a strange mask consist of the sides of her face, her mouth, and an extensive area below and around her neck extending down to also cover her nipples and a tattoo is placed on the left side of her right breast, there was a black hole in her lower abdomen where her womb would be.
Looking at the group of people around the table they were surprised as they were looking at them in the eyes.
In the group of six, the first to speak was Kronos as he looks amused by them.
"It looks like we have guessed come and sit down." Kronos
Hearing his words the girls were stunned but sat down anyway as they were already found out.
Once they sat down Megan while looking at Kronos with a confused face ask him a question that was in her mind along with the others.
"How can you see us?" Megan
"Simple magic, I'm surprised those four haven't noticed as they this whole house is overflowing with magic." Kronos
Hearing what he said both Megan and Barbara looked at Zatanna, Raven, Donna, and Mareena, being looked at by two angry girls they felt embarrassed as they were too distracted to notice something obvious.
As his guest are staring at each other Kronos is opening the wine bottle and started to pour it into wine glasses, picking up his wine glass he started to drink it before he started to talk to his guess.
"So girls how do you want to explain the home invasion?" Kronos
This time it was Barbara who spoke for her group.
"Well, you see our friend was having weird dreams so we came into her dreams to find out the reason why. Sorry if we have cause you any trouble." Barbara
Hearing her reason Kronos chuckled to himself a bit before he began to speak once more.
"Haha, you know it's no trouble but I can't be lenient to troublemakers as it's in bad taste so I will let my friend decide on your punishment seeing how you're piggybacking off her handmaiden. Kaguya what do you think we should do with them?" Kronos
Hearing his words everyone turn their heads to the rabbit goddess who had a plain expression on her face while she thought for a bit until she spoke her decision.
"I want them to own me a favor and cut the link between my handmaiden and their friend." Kaguya
Hearing what she said the guess shook their heads in understanding as it seemed to them they got off with a light punishment but the people who live with Kaguya knew it was going to be a simple favor as she is a goddess and owning a favor to a god is never a good thing.
After being told there punishment the guess where about to leave when Kronos remember something and spoke up to them before they leave.
"Oh yeah tell Linda that I need her rough draft by midnight and before you ask me how I know it's simple, glasses are a horrible disguise. Really how do you superheroes hide your identities with glasses, what happens when they off accidentally in public do people just ignore you or something? I think you guys need to add a wig or do what Batman does and cover most of your face in a mask." Kronos
Hearing what Kronos said they felt shocked and the one's who wear glasses to disguise themselves felt a little embarrassed about his statement.
Not wanting to stay any longer they agreed to tell Linda about the rough draft and quickly left Kronos and his company.
