In Hailey's perspective...
I'm already on the fourth day and I still can't figure it out!! I've heard that Mom is doing some experiments and Tom is still giving me reports but I don't see him anywhere even though his motorcycle is at the garage. Dad is still busy on his side... And I've heard that Big Sis is doing some work on the Canadian Branch to research if the upcoming plague is sensitive to extreme temperatures. I've been really busy and tired of this... Tom is still sending his reports as usual but I still haven't heard of him in the past days. I'm feeling that something horrible happened to him, but others say he'd just visit here to log in and drop the reports for me and it's really been suspicious. Also, Mom's gotten busier than usual... Dad is at the hospital with the other confirmed patients... I just can't think of anything without help... Tom... Please... Be... Safe...
In Tom's perspective...
"Subject is stable from the final procedures. Increase the dosage now." as I heard the voices of the doctors that are experimenting on me... My consciousness is coming back. Sir Neal... I'll do what we planned for. I drowned myself from this medicine and lessons from Sir Neal Kirkstoic. From what he said to remind me that Hailey is also been guided. 'Tom, remember that Heaven will Help you, and it'll come down to be with the both of you.' I don't consider this to be the end... I mean look I'm on the part of my life was everything comes to a climax... So this is what they call the 'Sharpest part of Our Lives.' Miss Hailey just wait a bit more don't lose hope I'll be there and help you with work... Time for me to sleep...
Hours later... "Mr. McClain? Is he awake?" I hear a distant female voice as I open up my eyes... "Thank goodness I have to tell you som-" I saw Mrs. Kirkstoic about to apologize but I knew what they're doing and I replied. "Mrs. Kirkstoic I already knew what you're doing and I understand but for now I don't have much time left before Hailey loses it. I need to go to her Lab immediately." I walked out of the lab with my coat and went to Hailey's lab and looked for her from the lab and I saw Hailey passed out on the floor... "Hailey! How long did the research take you! You need to rest... But first, I need you to come with me." I carried Hailey to the place that Sir Neal told me to go to. I walk as fast as I could while carrying Hailey I looked for the place... And I saw two guards on the main door and they said. "Hey, kid! Do you have any kind of access to the area?" I replied. "Yes! And I don't have any time for that, I need to go in there or Miss Hailey here will not find her answer!" The guard replied. "Wait... Did you say, Miss Hailey? What floor do you need to go to?" I replied. "The original floor of Sir Neal's research lab." The guard nodded and opened the elevator going down. She's breathing and that's enough for me to calm down. We reach the floor of the original lab and it looks the way I expected it to be. A lot of books and a lot of notes... So this is the famed the wall of Last Words... I lay Hailey on the bed on the lab for her to rest and I began to look for a book... Sir Neal said. 'It's a special book listen carefully Tom. It has a unique book cover... It's one of a kind book, more like a journal of a person I use to know for me to explain simply. A book on the left shelf in the right section of the bookcase. Remember Hailey needs to read it.' The left shelf in the right section... Hmm... I looked on the shelves and I did find the book and something else too. A diary of some sort... Hailey is still sleeping and I did prepare some food in case she's hungry from passing out. I read the diary and saw basically Sir Neal's life during his time when he was alive. And the secrets of everything related to the plague. His happiness, anger, depression, and sadness... He's been through a lot, and even to the point of killing innocent people to prevent them from infecting others. All of his emotions written in this diary of his.
As I heard some noises Hailey seems to wake up from her sleep. "Assistant? Where are we?" She says. I replied while holding the book. "Were currently at the original laboratory of Neal Kirkstoic." She was so surprised that she grabbed my hand and asked. "How did you find this!? I- I mean why did you bring me here? And how did you brought me here?" I replied. "I carried you obviously
but let's get the misunderstanding out of the way, for now, I need you to read this archive." I gave her the book and she did not reply. She read the book and focused. Then she told me... "Assistant. Give me a pen and a notebook. ASAP! How long were they hiding this?! It has everything, down to the atom of the original plague." Of course, I've brought a notebook since I knew that this will happen. "Assistant while I'm reading this... Can I ask you a question... Where did you go after I gave you the cold shoulder." I replied. "Well I went home and asked myself... Will I make a long or a summarized report. Weird isn't but I was fully expecting this. Since Golden Week has been the most anticipated event in my life." She replied. "But why bring me here? Why didn't you told me this place a long time ago?" I replied. "Well Ma'am someone told me that I should bring you here yesterday."
She replied. "Then who told you about this place?" I replied with some doubt of her believing it. "Well... You wouldn't believe this but... It's Neal Kirkstoic himself..." Here comes the doubt... But I hopefully Hailey understands why I'm doing this right now.
