Chapter 11: Lunch
The rest of the day was basically free. So the girls had chatted to their heart's content. They caught upon all things hilarious and anything they basically wanted to chat about. The bell indicating that lunch had begun caused people in her class to rush out but the four of them wantedly stayed back a few more minutes in order to avoid the rush considering they always ate quickly. :P
After about 10 minutes they started slowly climbing down the stairs giggling. The moment they entered was the usual scene of people talking to their friends sitting at one table that consisted of only their friends and there was extremely annoying Trent with his friends right at their usual table near the end of the cafeteria bar.
They took their trays started taking what they had wanted when suddenly the lunch lady spoke up saying, "Late as always huh?" The girls chuckled while Adora gave back the usual answer, "Well at least that way you won't curse us for hurrying you since people keep pushing one another." Then they all let out a hearty laugh. No one ever notices their kind, polite, respecting yet hilarious conversations with the lunch ladies. They are friendly with all of them since the year Lissa started in this school. Basic reason? Earlier no one used to eat at the cafeteria until Lissa suggested to the student council that she could figure out the problem and solve. Her parents had been teaching her hotel management skills from the moment they found out that she was interested in the culinary arts.
After having a proper discussion of how the cafeteria was she suggested a few things like a surprise menu along with a menu that changed each day with a variety of dishes. Within a few months the cafeteria had attracted more students more than their favorite food courts.
Once they had taken their trays to their usual tiny yet spacious little round table. They sat down then while eating they chatted as well. :p What they never knew was that the cafeteria staff never let anyone except the 4 friends to sit there as a treat of gratitude This has been hid from the 4 friends till now even with the bits of hints that existed but never recognised by them. Now that is what I call obliviousness. As usual they still ate faster tan anyone in the cafeteria. They soon went up the stairs once they entered their class Lissa was shocked to notice the 'Gang Of Annoyance' AKA 'GOA' ( in the school that's their name basically it was trent and his friends) sitting in the quad's place [P.S the quad stands for Adora, Tessa, Ophelia, Lissa].
