Chapter 2: Excited and Nervous
Just as she thought Vinay came to her and helped with the project. she knew him very well.
Vinay and Jas completed both projects within 2 hours. The project was a bit difficult but they both are very intelligent and they done a lot of projects together.
Vinay said " so how was your exam? you will get the scholership right?. "
Jas sighed deep and said "I had tried my best ' you know I have to get the scholership. "
"you tried your best that means , you are gonna get it. " Vinay said.
if I can't be able to get the scholarship , you know my family will not give me a penny to go abroad to become a sergon, they will say just do whatever you want to do but here in India.
And after a year or two they will force me to get married to an unknown person of their choice " Jas said in a paining voice.
"Don't worry Jas you will get the chance and if you can't get through of it than I told you to just Run Away from here I will give you the money to achieve your dream and this offer is always available for you. " Vinay said smiling to her. He belongs from a rich family.
He said to her a lot of times to just run away from here but she don't want to betray her family who doesn't even care about her just because she is a girl.
Her family thinks that girls are burden to them. They just want her to get married as soon as possible.
After their chatting Jas took her leave to go home.
After a month Jas's results came out and obviously she got the scholarship and now she was preparing to leave India and going to start a new life in New York City.
Her family rejected her first. Her father Mohan Ahuja always supported her that's why she was able to study that much and this time also he gave her permission to go abroad for further studies. Mohan had to argue with the family members to allow her to go and in the end they agreed at one condition that she will get married to the person of their choice and she agreed to it.
Jas said her good bye to her friends and family and went to airport.
she was waiting for her flight at the lounge area. Her flight was at 5 pm. she was excited and nervous at the same time. Excited because she is going to achieve her dream and hell nervous because she is going to live alone in an unknown country.
She believes in herself that she will get through it.
But never in her life she thought that her life is going to be drastically changed by a man named Mr. Leo Parker.
