Chapter 13: What is your decision ? - III
In Xun Corp. main office..... In the evening....
" What the hell !! what are you speaking? Did Lan really set the family gathering for tonight " Xun Chius was angry .
He was in a meeting when he received this information from his loyal assistant . He apologised the clients and asked them to reschedule their meeting .
The clients were the foreign delegates but have families like others whom they loved above anything else. After seeing the situation , they agreed to reschedule their meeting . They were even impressed by the next thing that Xun Chius said and were more willing for this delay.
" The inconvenience is caused by the Xun Corp. We will repay you by the free tour of the Zhuang main city. Your all the expenses will be given to you by the Xun Corp. until you are in the main city. You can enjoy amusement parks, attend business fairs, relax in seven star hotels .. everything will be seen by the Xun Corp."
Of course Xuns were the second main family with a number of hotel, real estates, factories and mines. If it was not for the main company's shares and industrial and construction projects contracted mostly with the government , Xun Chius would never follow the alliance or agree to marry his beloved daughter to a stranger.
" Please calm down sir. I am speaking the truth. I got the call from the joint secretary of the Jiang's . He wanted to inform us that today tonight in the family gathering Mr Jiang , Madam Jiang and Ceo Jiang will be present and tonight only engagement date will be decided by both the parties".
" You may leave..... Don't allow anyone to disturb me. I want to think..."
" Yes boss.... may i bring a cup of black coffee for you ....."
Rubbing his temples in frustration and laying stiffened in his chair he replied in affirmative.
Assisstance Wang left the office.
" Lan, why? The number of times , I want to make you better , but, you always falls down the level of care and love. " Xun Chius was angry but kept the calm expression.
He took a photo frame from his desk's drawer.
It was a photo of a young girl, smiling happily about the age 5 years. There was a tinge of warmness on her face. She was so adorable that it was decided she had to be the nation beauty.
Xun Chius caressed the photo in his hand. Tears were filled in his eyes.
" I am sorry... I can not change anything anymore . Lan'er, many years back you did a wrong thing to her..that time I couldn't stop you , but , now, I will not allow you to destroy Amm . Its her life, her decision...," There was a guilt in Xun Chius's voice . Tears rolled down from his cheeks. His hands were trembling .. bad memories strolled his mind.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door.
He put the photo back and turned his chair so that no one can see him that teary state... he said ," Come in " still in authoritative tone but his expression was broken.
Assisstant Wu came inside and put the coffee on the desk , he knew his boss' mood was not right, so he did not said anything and was about to leave when...
" Prepare car, i want to go to Xun Manor now...."
" As you command sir.."

Amm was very in her favourite clothes then Xun Chius entered her room.
"My dear , how have you been? "
" I am as usual commander Xun still the number one."
" Ha - Ha, good good, I will come to straight point, do you know , why are you here? "
" I know dad, there is a problem with shares of Xun Corp. in the market. So you brought me back ." Tying her wet hair , Amm said.
Amm was surly a beauty , and anyone's heart could skip a beat when saw her face.
Wet locks of smooth, silky hair on her soft flushed cheeks and those pair of beautiful eyes could fluster anyone .
" Hmm, Amm I will tell you the whole matter....."Chius started explaining everything to Amm and also told her about the marriage alliance.
Amm was surly a filial child and listened to her father patiently.
" What ! ! Marry CEO Jiang...." she exclaimed. she thought about Jiang Yoko ... and now CEO Jiang.....was in her matters.....
" Amm , it does not matter , what our partners or higher up wants... I only know one thing that marriage is something that must includes feelings and mutual understandings. It is not a game play or something easy, two people has to share their lives, their spaces and understand themselves and others. If you don't want to.. then it is also fine..look, what type mom thinks or others think or really does not matter until you are not satisfied with this alliance. It's yours life so the marriage decision will be yours. "
He said in calm and worrying tone ... he walked upto Amm who was now sitting in the front of an mirror, he stroked her hair and gently kissed on her head. He was not in position to directly face her daughter regarding this matter.
He saw her eyes in the mirror . He made a contact with her. Her eyes were gloomy, sank in deep thoughts and emotions. His eyes were no less, sank in despair and pain. Father - daughter shared such a deep bond that they even could read each other's eyes, no one could easily figure their connection.
" Dad, I will marry him "
These few words almost shuddered the hope he had , he had thought his daughter would refuse and would live her life freely and he could be forgiven for his sins that he had committed by making her life full of petals .
" Ha..... you don't have to worry about the company or me. I am perfectly fine. I only care about one thing ... What is your decision? I will work harder and double and again rise the share.. if I loose my title of family head , it will also not matter because i will still be alive not a dead..."
Before he could complete his words , a soft hand came on his lips preventing him to speak further .
" Daddy, I am saying what I want. I have decided to marry that CEO. Later i will manage the company, it will be more easy if i had another backings as well. My thesis and work are only for Xun Corp. with my intelligence and his network i will easily run the company and also leave his company behind . There are so much advantages why will i not accept it. "
"Are you sure ....?"
" I can not be this serious and sure. "
" Alright , but remember you always have me ...."
" I know my worrying bun...." she chuckled and pulled her dad's cheeks .
" OK, tonight Jiang s are coming ... "
" I know what to do ..... now go you have to get ready .. you are the host... "
" Am I your father ... or you are my mother?"
" Both " Her answer lighted his mood and he chuckled .
