Chapter 180: Sanguine

All of a sudden, she closes her eyes, falling on the bed. He grabs her, placing his hand behind her head, and he lays her down. 

It's quiet in the room. He scrutinises her face again. There is no sign of the foreign entity in her body. It seems that the entity escaped, but how? How come he can't sense it anymore? Only one person has the answer. Eli turns his head toward Zachary Krauss and asks him, "Who was it?"

Zachary Krauss wipes the cold sweat on his forehead. "The moon goddess."

"Her?" Eli creases his nose. How come he can't sense any god here? During the engagement ceremony, he sensed her. 

"It was only a minuscule part of her." Zachary Krauss takes a deep breath, sitting down on the floor. He puts his head on his raised knees. "Nell's body isn't strong enough to endure the goddess' possession completely."
