Chapter 166: It's impossible now

His eyes grow wider when he sees Millie coming out of the house in the next instant.

He lets out a breath of relief. She is fine. Why does she like to scare him? And who the hell that creepy girl was? 

Millie is wearing a simple shirt and dark jeans. She has her phone in her hand. But there are dark circles under her eyes.

If this is the only thing that he was seeing, he might have let go of all the doubts. But it seems that the words that the ghost told him are true indeed.

Millie isn't human.

"What are you?" He asks her the moment she stands in front of him.

She doesn't answer him. "Why are you here, Nick?"

"Why does your skin have a golden hue?" Nick questions her. "Why is your hair red? The colour of your eyes has also changed."

She purses her lips tightly.
