As we kept walking the goddess kept explaining to me and as expected every book is a world with it's history
it still blow my mind that a small books like that could hold centuries of information's about million's of life but as we get deeper I noticed that the book kept getting thicker and thicker I took me seconds to guess the reason but I still asked I mean I should take everything I could get from here
So I asked "why is the book getting thicker as we walk"
"haha of cours as there a different between souls there are more different between world mister ren as you could guess there are world that have a lot of history they are so ancient that they have multi-god gardien them and the more ancient they are the more legacy they have so of course the record will be thicker " she said
As I read between the line I response "so that mean not all the ancient world are stronger huh "
She looked at me hint of seriousness in her eyes "of course mister ren they aren't the strongest but they where in some point in time as you know more time mean more people and more people mean less resources so they've been sucking those world dry but that doesn't mean they are weak just their history alone could make any of those magician or cultivator of lesser world go crazy "
"human are such creatures mister ren even thought they can be one of the greediest they never fell short to impress me if you gave them enough time they can adapt to any situation they face, it always fascination watching them they are one of my favorite race personally they could be slave for centuries to other creatures but in every single world they never let the chance to regain their freedom at some point of time ,Truly a race without any immediate benefit, they don't have the life span of elf nor are they the favorite of heaven like dragons nor do they have strength like orc But their abilities to learn is really impressive if I say myself"
As I kept hearing her talk about many other races I couldn't help but want to witness this sort of transformation in history myself
with hint of jealousy in my voice I said "so how does it feel "
"what are you talking about mister ren "
even though I know she understand i asked again "how does it feels to be the keeper of all the knowledge in the multi-univers "
at this point my jealousy and longing where so visible even In my face , what could be more appealing to a book worm like me than the history of millions of univers
She chuckled slightly at my expression "it feel OK " she said
Here I felt like it was the hardest to keep my anger and not lash at her in this instant So I said my word dripping with scrams "all of this and its just OK in the end sure god are different"
I let a sigh even I didn't know I was holding sure I couldn't control myself when it comes to book or knowledge
"you have to know mister ren I've been here in more than millennia sure In the beginning it was wonderful but as time goes it become less enjoyable as you human can't keep eating the same meal every day it the seem for me even if im a god"
Of course I could understand but even so I couldn't Sympathy with her to me this place is better than heaven "maybe you are right but you know im feeling a little regret if I know of this place before I would even save the world to just stay here for a few year "
Than I remembered something important I didn't ask "so where is this place since it not in the heaven or hell"
"this place is everywhere at the same time nowhere its locked in the boundary's between world the as I said very few could come here and even they are afraid of getting lost In between those boundaries "
" it wouldn't be a problem that im here and not in my way to drink grandma meng soup right "I said with a hint of joking
"hahaha of course not I took your soul directly after you where expelled from your world so technically you are not really dead " This definitely did stun me as I didn't expect it at all "well this won't make you in any difficult situation right " I really didn't want anything to go wrong
her face lost all smiles" it seems you didn't believe me after I said I was one of the strongest did you mister ren "
Oh crap it seems that come rather wrong" oh no of course I believe in you I just though that the archive would rather reject my soul as you said yourself even god cant come here easily "
" I understand mister ren but you have to know we god take our pride rather seriously so it would be better to pay more attention" she warned me with stern voice
She did seems to be really kind I could imagine other gods already destroying me at this point ahhgh it seems this situation rather affected me more than I thought
so I did take a few breaths to calm myself down even though she is kind I couldn't let my guard down ,and even if the chance is rather slim I really do want to be in her good book maybe she would allow me to stay longer so I did put my plan in work as I don't think I could trick or manipulate her I better be more honest so with the best smile I have I said " well since it's getting boring why wont you get some help and you enjoy some rest for a few years that what we human do maybe it would help"
she responded with amusement in here eye " and where could I find this help mister ren maybe you know "
well it seems I was right being honest really is the best with all sincerity I could find I said with straight face without any blushing "well I know that this place is difficult but I've been here for sometimes and I don't feel anything and nothing seems to be wrong either and honestly it might come as arrogance but im one of the best when it come to books even if im not a god myself"
it seems dying really did make my skin thicker "haha well mister ren there a lot of people who loves book even among God's lets Alone the other beings"
When it come here I replied rather confidently "as you said earlier yourself human is the greediest and im no different "
She laughed with what seem like the warmest smile " and what is your greed then"
