Chapter 7: Words Echoed
She looked at the dairy again and again, still she doesn't believe it. She rubbed her eyes and hit her head hard, in order to remember when did she update the dairy.
"As like Every other time I woke up at 2:38AM, then drank some water and updated the dairy with same old 4 words. I really did close the dairy after which, again I went back to sleep. It can't be me. Also this isn't my handwriting. Who did this?"
She was sure none of her family members do such things as they don't have an idea on her dairy. She could not come up with an answer. "Does someone is really here apart from me in this room. Nevertheless I could not find any trace."
She hurried for college as she is already little late. On the way, Mythi asked, "Before my family moved who was resided in my home?"
Both of them answered the same, "No one was there for quite the least of 4 years."
"Did something happened in my house before we came. Like someone went early to afterlife or so"
Lyna, "Quite far as my knowledge, there wasn't any bad omen things happened. Should we dig more about it? Did something happened yesterday night?"
Mythi doesn't want to talk anything until she confirms something on her own beforehand. So she answered that she got curious.
As Mythi's family got some family work to attend, they started packing. After Mythi reached home, She confronted that she can't come due to her mock exams and compulsory attendance for a seminar.
They had no other choice than getting help from neighbor as they will leave Mythi alone for 2 days. Nasina and Lyna's parents assured that they will take care of Mythi. Their parents left after careful consideration.
The trio had the first night stay together after their dinner. After some preparations for mock exams, they were about to sleep. So all their goosey talks took nearly past 1'o clock for them to sleep.
Soon after Mythi slept, She got into her dream and this time, She was straight into the tunnel crying. She wanted to move ahead badly but she couldn't move and the loud cry increases.
It moved closer to her ears and said, "Mythi, don't worry just move forward. How many million times you will stay at the same place?"
And the words It said, echoed in her dreams and she for the first time stopped crying in her dreams. When she about to move, the clock ticks the time for her in between reality break.
When she was about to open her eyes, She feels someone's finger is wiping her tears and she felt the proximity of someone. She opened her eyes only to see void dark.
Again she was about to sleep, that's when the other two suddenly woke up. They questioned, "What are you doing Mythi? We are nearly shocked when you aren't in bed?"
Mythi said, "Guy's see the time, 2:39AM. It's the usual time I woke up in between dreams"
Both of them swallowed, Only air got out when Lyna was about to talk. Reality hits hard and it took some time for them to sleep.
"So what's new? Did you remember anything now."
Mythi wanted to say about the echoed words and wiping tears. But she grasped the situation.
"Not now, they will be afraid. It may not be new for me with these hauntings as compared to my dream. What bad they did? I don't want to disturb their sleep."
Mythi answered, "Nothing new? Let's sleep"
The trio slept well till late 8 where they got woke up after some knocking in the living door. Nasina's Mom, "Girls it's already late come have breakfast and start for college"
That's when they realized the time and started hurriedly for college and in fact they got a cab to reach college though it is near by.
