"Huh hey how did I get dragged into this?" Amen
"Deal. I could use some fresh new slaves and you two look healthy enough. Haha boy hurry up and read." Sure that these boys were dumb country bumpkins she whipped out her cauldron. "Start by reading off the ingredients, boy."
After just 2 hours all that was left in the cauldron was 3 measly pills. So that is what potion making look like. What an experience. She immediately popped the pills into her mouth without even waiting or checking them at all then sat down.
As she was sitting there, an invisible aura formed around her and it seemed as if her age went backwards 70 years and she looked like a beautiful young adult.
All that we heard next was "Thanks young one come and find me when you are stronger and I will teach you some things." Then the whole stall disappeared and all that was left were 12 pills a pouch of gold and 2 crystals.
"Rude she didn't even say goodbye and we didn't even get to hassle." Amen looked dejected. "I practiced my mean face all last night for nothing. Tepp how much gold is in there?"
"100 pieces"
"Sheesh put it away into your dimension quickly before we get robbed." Before he could even finished I had already put them away. Then I turned to the crystals.
"Paper, Rock, Scissors?"
"No, those are yours. Plus, I am not really a potion making type I am more of a put an axe through your skull kind of guy, now anyway." Amen said with a self pondering expression on his face.
Wow Amen has really changed with this new world environment. From the pieces of his past that he has revealed I assumed he was a monk, but now?

[Some knowledge is above the tier of the host. Host has all the knowledge but can only enact accurately upon the Tier 0 potions, pills, and engravings]
Woah so much knowledge. Ah some of these plants we have at home. If I give Amen a list of plants I need with pictures on it we can sell pills and potions. But, what about engravings.
Oh, jeez my control over the elements is not that fine. I will need to find some skills that allow you to freely manipulate an element.
But, still we can make so much more money with this knowledge. This system is awesome some people spend their whole lifetime trying to consume even a piece of a crystal but I was able to consume the whole thing.
Whole sects were founded with only a knowledge crystal as its backing. This is mostly due to if a young kid can start his life with the knowledge of his predecessor he can become even more powerful potentially.
Now let's take a look at these pills.

Used to level up inside a Tier. Cannot be used to advance Tier]
Woah we must take these back to mom. I immediately throw them into my dimension.
"So what do the pills do?"Amen asked.
"Not here, wait till we get home first." Seeing my expression he immediately understood it must be something amazing and so he closed his mouth and we left. We went to find the bookstore. More specifically THE CANDY STORE.
It's a famous bookstore founded by the candy family which is the royal family of our kingdom. This is no ordinary bookstore, no, they sell skills. Since their lineage carries all of the 6 major elements they always had a natural advantage over most humans but they also are known for the most proficient skill creators, writers, and producers.
They have the ability to sell skill books en masse. Which led to them amassing a fortune, them to them using that fortune to get stronger, then overthrowing the previous government and forming their own all under 3 years led by their clan head Lin Fan of house Candy. The living legend who walked through countless battles unscathed, using his legendary move of punching everyone in their parts.
When we walk in instead of walls lined with books and librarians we are faced with screens and clerks.
"Hi, sir what element are you gentlemen interested in today?" The clerk asked.
"Wood"
"Space"
"Ok one moment." She pressed a couple of buttons and then 2 large orbs appeared 1 brown and one purple. "Would you please place your hands on your respective elemental orbs. Then proceed to pick which books you would like to check out." Amen went first. The moment his hand came into contact with the orb his body immediately went into a trance.
Seeing him like this leads me to do the same. At contact, everything around me changes to another space with a menu of books.
(You only have access to Tier 0 books)
Hmm I wonder how they are able to tell my Tier. Tier are a way of depicting the difference in strength between creatures.
From what I have heard, there are 5 tiers and the difference between each tier is extreme. And, the system breaks down each tier further into multiple levels. Not everyone can view their strength as levels so far only me and Amen can.

Out of hundreds, only about 8 caught my eye. I would get them all but the price for all Tier 0 skills are 5 gp. Aggh I can't be greedy with family money. Well let me choose 2.
I don't need a spatial weapon because most magic weapons are stronger than Tier 0 skills. That even goes for shields. So that halfs my choices.
Spatial manipulation is also a no-no for now. At least not until I learn more about this element and magic. Right now it would be too difficult to control and harness raw space. Also, spatial slash would also be too poor at this tier.
Well, I guess that leaves compression and repulsion. Using one I can crumble matter and or space into a tiny ball which will help with the concentration of the space essence that I use.
Then repulsion makes things that I touch explode. They are a perfect combo. I must have them together. Buy.
*Beeuurrrppp*
The orb disappeared behind the desk and then 2 books appeared where it was previously.
"If you have confirmed your choice, that will be 10 gp please." I hurriedly fake like I am reaching in my pocket and hurriedly place the money on the counter. As I grab the books I can sense a gaze on my back, but when I turned around, no one was there. Hmmm strange we better hurry up and leave.
I look over to Amen and it seems that he is still looking so I decide to walk around the store.
"Tepp come here I need your help deciding."
