Chapter 7: Li Feng
As time stops when visiting the 'Space' he rented from Atlas, he slept until the afternoon after cooking some food.
Apollo has already reached Transcendent Immortal Realm, but that alone isn't enough, so he checked out a few profiles from the predecessors' tab from Atlas.

Apollo clicked his tongue and began to ponder if what he's doing is all worth it. 'If Xaurno is among the weakest, then what am I?' he thought.
He exited Atlas and cultivated throughout the afternoon.

Apollo is cooking a new dish today, although it's only a simple noodle, from the looks of Kate and her friends, it isn't as simple as it seems.
*Slurp* *Slurp* *Slurp*
They didn't care about their surroundings and kept eating like they were starved for a month, "Hey boss! Hurry up and refill my bowl please!" Kate exclaimed, her face covered with the broth from the noodles.
Apollo sighed and walked towards the kitchen to refill her bowl, 'Just how much does this girl eat?'
He placed the bowl in front of Kate and sat the opposite of her.
When he was about to sit down, the door opened and what greeted them is a man in his early 30's with a stern face and muscles that are slightly visible.
The man walked up towards Apollo, a faint smile visible on the corner of his lips, "I want what they're eating." Levi then walked to where he sat yesterday.
Apollo nodded and delivered him the bowl.
He sat back down and gazed at the scenery, in front of him is the fairy-like beauty, Kate, and behind her is a beautiful scenery of the beach, although it's too far away, he could still see its beauty.
"Apollo, Hey!" Kate waved her hands on Apollo's face.
Apollo snapped back to reality, his face began turning red, "W-what?"
Kate chuckled, she took money from her wallet and handed it to Apollo, "Here's my payment."
Apollo became embarrassed but got his composure back, he took the money and pretended to place it on a drawer but in reality, he placed it inside his storage.
Meanwhile, Levi is sitting quietly in the corner, observing him, *Slurp* 'He's that strong yet he'd rather be a restaurant owner than use his strength.'

Apollo doesn't want to open the restaurant today so he placed a 'Closed' sign in front of the restaurant.
He plans to visit Liam and his family because he hasn't been there for a few days now.
After learning about cultivation a few days ago, Apollo got curious and bought memories in the predecessors' tab last night.
What he got for a mere 100,000 points was more than he bargained for, what got him curious enough to buy is cultivation itself. He bought the memories of a being called Li Feng, his life summary was straightforward. He died because he got hit by a truck and his soul got transported to a dying mortal. While his soul travelled in space-time, Atlas fused itself to him. After trillions and trillions of years, he mysteriously died of unknown cause. The reason Apollo bought his memories isn't because it's cheap-- Well, the fact that it's cheap was also the reason he bought it, but part of it is because the trillions of years of memories the guy got.
It wouldn't only make himself clear about cultivation, the trillion years of knowledge would also benefit him. It would be like he was reborn.
His brain got flooded with the memories of Li Feng, from his happy times, and from the dark times he had gone through throughout his lifetime, from his dozens of wives, dozens of kids, and thousands of disciples, it was like a movie but said movie only played for a second, but to Apollo, it felt surreal, it felt like he was Li Feng, from the time he was alive and from the time he died. His death felt so real that Apollo thought that he was gonna die.
The memories traumatized Apollo, but he also benefitted from them.
Recovering from the sudden flash of memories, he found himself shedding a tear from his eyes, he wiped it off and went to sleep
-Back to the present-
What Apollo plans to do now is to take Anne as his disciple, from the memories of Li Feng who was once the Supreme being of his world, he could easily nurture Anne to an unrivalled powerhouse of earth.
Although Anne's talent is bad with a talent tree of:

He still wants to nurture her for her to be a great powerhouse in the future, not because he's forced to follow the plot I imagined in my head, but because of the promised he said in his heart to protect Liam's family.
Arriving at the house, the smell of food came rushing towards his nose as he is in front of the door, although the food is bad in Apollo's opinion, it doesn't matter; if the food came from the Miller family, he would still love it regardless.
He knocked on the door and Liam, who has a smile that reaches his ears greeted him, his eyes beamed as he saw Apollo, "You're just in time Apollo! it's my daughter's birthday today and we were about to call you. Come in!"
Liam's attitude isn't the same as before where he would try to hide his emotions if he could, but now, he doesn't even bother to hide it.
Apollo just awkwardly smiled and entered the house with Liam, who was pulling his arm.
In the living room, people gathering there looked up at who Liam invited in, they weren't even surprised at Liam's new friend considering his cold yet friendly and outgoing personality, they continued what they were doing and didn't mind the unfamiliar face Liam brought.
"Anne! Do you know who this is?" Liam shouted.
Anne, who is obediently sitting in the dinner table with a party hat on her head, looked up, her eyes beamed as it landed on Apollo, "Brother!"
She hopped up from her chair and ran towards Apollo and hugged his leg. Apollo patted her head and walked towards the dinner table where Cristine sat.
The dinner table has all kinds of food, roasted chicken, spaghetti, and cake, to list a few. Although it was rude to sit directly on the dinner table when he just arrived, Liam and his family didn't seem to mind.
"What are you up to nowadays?" Liam asked curiously because he felt Apollo's temperament change for some reason.
"Nothing much, just cooking throughout the day," Apollo replied.
"Oh," Liam touched his beard and replied, "How much are you selling your food? It would surely be over $100, right? Considering how godly it tasted." Liam remembered the chicken wings they ate and salivated a little.
Cristine overheard their conversation and her heart broke for some reason when she heard the $100 price tag.
Apollo saw their reactions and smiled, "Don't worry, you are all free to eat there."
Anne, who is just staring at them with question marks on her head, spoke excitedly after she heard the word 'free', "Free?! What's free?!"
Apollo looked at her and patted her head, "You're free to eat at brother's restaurant."
"Really?!"
"Yes."
Liam and Cristine looked at the cute scene. with warm smiles plastered on their faces.

They all finished eating, as it is Anne's birthday, Apollo bought all sorts of delicacies from Atlas and ate it with Liam, his family, and their guests.
Apollo also discarded the thought of making Anne his disciple at the moment and would help them discreetly if they were in some sort of problem.
All of the guests left, and it's only Apollo and the Miller family left in the house, the guests went home with hands in their bellies and a few left tipsy because they drank with Apollo and Liam.
Apollo and the Miller family were still on the dinner table, Cristine and Liam's face were a bit red because of the alcohol but they could still walk straight. Anne is still eating the fries and cake Apollo bought from Atlas, the food he bought from Atlas doesn't have any side effects at all so Anne could eat all she wants until she is satisfied, Cristine and Liam wanted to stop her from eating but Apollo reassured them.
Liam lazily sat on the chair with his back laid in the chair and his hand touching his stomach, "Ahh, I wish Apollo would also be my cook in my birthday."
Cristine wanted to apologize to Apollo for Liam's rude remarks but she couldn't help but agree to him. "By the way Apollo, what are your plans now?" Cristine asked.
"I don't know, really."
"Then what about expanding your restaurant business?"
"That would taint my image, no one could cook as good as me," Apollo replied, he isn't just boasting his cooking abilities and Cristine knows that too.
Cristine put Anne to sleep, meanwhile Apollo and Liam drank a bit more so they could catch up, the dining room is full of laughs from Liam and Apollo as they talked about their most embarrassing moments that only drunk people would be willing to share.
Liam got wasted and slept on the table with a bottle in hand while muttering something. Apollo placed a blanket on his back and left after locking the door.

WannaBeAuthorHaru In the past few chapters, I think something is lacking in them; there's no "Pizzazz" in those chapters, don't you guys think so too? I'm gonna try to read a few translated novels to find what's missing in the novel I'm writing. There's just no "Character" in my characters at all, like they're just there to support Apollo.
Don't mind this "Author's thoughts." of mine; I'm just recording what I'm lacking here so that if I reread this in the future, I will see what kind of mistakes I made.
