Chapter 103: Diversity
Sensing nothing was in his immediate vicinity Shen jumped into the air. "Though I haven't read that far into the manga I'm pretty sure nothing here can challenge me." Choosing a random direction Shen's body accelerated immediately. Flying high into the sky Shen's body left a trail through the clouds.
"Hey, System, since I'm already the strongest person here can I go to a different universe?" Speaking to the System while flying the System responded almost instantly. [No if the host is the strongest in the universe they are transported to then they must defeat the second strongest.]
Hearing that Shen began talking to himself.
"Well I guess that would make sense if the second strongest was almost as strong as me but in this ca-" Shen suddenly stopped talking as something flew in his throat. 'Crap!' Coughing Shen's eyes glanced over a nearby city. Not caring about who saw him, his body changed trajectory as he flew downwards.
A couple of seconds later he landed in an alley between two buildings. The cement cracked on impact leaving a dip in the ground as Shen leaned next to a nearby wall. Coughing one more time the thing in his throat finally flew out. "Gosh damn bugs man." Waving his hand a wave of pure energy engulfed the bug that flew out of Shen's throat.
After finally getting rid of the bug in his throat Shen got to look around the area he crashed in. "It came from over here!" Rushing into the alley from one side two people dressed in costumes began examining the alley. Finally, their eyes landed on Shen who seemed to be in the center of the damage.
"Hey, you did you cause all of this? Using your quirk to destroy public property is illegal you know especially if it's not in self-defense."
The person talking to Shen was a man dressed in medieval knight's armor however the armor itself was made of paper. The person who was with him was a woman wearing a black and red suit. Walking up to Shen cautiously the man in paper armor announced himself.
"I'm the hero known as Paper Knight. If you could come with me we can get this all sorted out ok?"
However, after hearing the man's name Shen could only laugh before turning around to leave. Seeing this the hero named Paper Knight rested on his hands on top of his forearm. "Sir we need you to come with us. Even if it was an accident we need you to sign a few things." Trying to talk to Shen one more time the man saw he was still walking away.
"Alright then." Dragging his hand across his forearm the paper armor around him began to morph into a rope before flying towards Shen. Sensing the rope Shen didn't bother dodging and only turned around while in a slight daze as if thinking about something. Turning to his partner the woman next to Paper Knight opened up her hands. "Relaxing Pheromones."
A light pink gas began to fly towards Shen as it enveloped his body. Hearing the name alone Shen could tell this was probably this duo's dynamic. One would restrain with a rope made of strong paper while the other one relaxes the restrained target. "Actually you two could help me." Turning to the two of them they both smiled at Shen thinking he was ready to cooperate now that he was calm.
However, that idea took a full one-eighty as the rope around Shen was reduced to dust. "So I have a question for you." Taking a single step before appearing before Paper Knight hero Shen asked him a question. "Can you tell me which city I'm in right now?" Blinking a couple of times the man didn't understand why but he felt the urge to answer Shen obediently.
"Th- This is Hosu City…" Spitting the words out the man saw out of the corner of his eye that his partner was preparing to retaliate. Fearing for both of their lives he immediately signaled her to stand down. Though she didn't understand why she hesitated before complying as Shen asked another question.
"Hosu huh? Oh right, that's where he shows up later in the story. So we would umm. Mu- uh. Musutafu? Ya where Musutafu would be." Stumbling over his own words trying to remember the name of the city Shen asked the man another question in which he responded. "Um just... Just go that way if you follow the highway you can't miss it."
Pointing in direction of the city Shen stopped with his questions and took a step back. After a moment Shen flew into the air hovering a couple of meters off the ground. Seeing a 'flying quirk' the pair of heroes were shocked. Coming around the alley's opposite opening two police officers with weapons ready came into the area. "Paper Knight, Miss Pheromone why did you two just run off like that? You know how..."
Finally spotting Shen flying in the air the two officers froze in place. "Welp four's a crowd." Extending his arm towards the direction of the two police officers Shen released a burst of Ki. In a moment's notice, the peaceful area Shen's arm was facing was erased. A loud and powerful explosion destroyed multiple city blocks as smoke and fire rose into the sky.
Getting rid of the police Shen turned back to the hero pair who's previous shocked expression's had turned to ones of utter fear. "One last thing. Have you two heard any news about a hero named Mt. Lady?" The two of them immediately looked at one another before turning to Shen and shaking their heads in almost sync.
"Hmm, I see. Well, thank you guys anyway." Waving to them with a friendly smile on his face Shen flew higher into the sky before blasting off towards the direction the man showed him earlier. On the other hand, the pair of heroes turned their focus back to the sight before them. Staring into the fire and smoke the two of them decided to give up being heroes from that point forward.
Meanwhile, as Shen went back to flying he had an excited look on his face. 'Well if I'm going to leave this universe soon I might as well have some fun first.' Shen had learned one thing about the timeline from that encounter with those two heroes. The fact they didn't know who MT. Lady was meant she either didn't have her debut yet or she's still not popular.
Of course, the possibility of them lying to him was barely a factor. Either way to Shen it meant the timeline was still pretty early into the story and that also meant plenty of time to get things set up. After flying for around two hours Shen had reached his destination. With the sun beginning to set over the horizon it created a very nice view.
As the lights in the city began to turn on one by one Shen flew down to a nearby rooftop overlooking the rest of the buildings. Walking to the edge of that building's roof he scanned everything within view while thinking to himself. 'So how do you find a boy in a city full of so many people.
Once I find the protagonist I can finally know exactly where this timeline is taking place.'
Thinking to himself for a moment the best option he could think of was to wait. As much as he would like it to start right away there were a few things he needed to get ready. And like that Shen began his search for a temporary place he could use to serve as a base.
And like deja vu after a couple of minutes of searching around the border's of the city, he found himself at an abandoned warehouse.'Well it's in a different universe so technically this is diversity.' Entering the broken down warehouse Shen wasted no time accessing the System. "I have been holding off buying these for a while but now…" Opening up the System's shop Shen typed one word.

With all his current abilities Shen never found a reason to add Kido his list of skills especially for how much they cost. Instead of buying each spell individually Shen simply had to buy these three technique's from the Shop and the mastery would come as easily as leveling them up. 'Ah so much SP just to have a little fun.'
Looking at the prices one more time Shen bought all three of them. Just like that, the list of every Kido spell appeared in his mind. He knew their incantations and their number's just by thinking about them. All in all, it was what Shen expected and it was what he wanted as well. Though having Kido was nice he didn't actually buy it for himself.
"System I have a question for you. If I turn someone into the second strongest person in this universe do I have to defeat them instead?" Waiting for an answer Shen was hoping the System would say no and to his glee, his wishes were answered.
[No the second strongest must not have gained their strength through direct interference from the host.]

Aizen_Dleitch Thats right guys were doing MHA for a bit! This universe will be pretty easy to conquer as I made clear however I plan on making it fun so sit back and enjoy :D
