Chapter 16: Soul Society (1)
Standing in front of them was a massive gate. Urahara explained how the portal would transform their current bodies so that they would be able to enter soul society and how they only had 4 minutes to make it, or they would be trapped in the Precipice World.
"So is everyone ready? As soon as it opens, run in as fast as you can." Ichigo put on a stern face before replying. "Right." With that, Urahara looked at Ichigo and the others before opening the gate to the Dangai.
The moment the gate opened, a bright light shone through as Ichigo, and the others ran in, leaving the Human World entirely the portal then dimmed, leaving a grey portal in the gate. After they left, Urahara stood up and walked towards the portal extending his hand to the entrance only for it to be rejected and shocked. "Ugh." Steam rose from his hand as he closed it into a fist and looked back towards the portal.
"Were counting on you, Ichigo." Saying that Urahara heard a response. "You couldn't be more right." Urahara's eyes widened as he turned around only to see Shen was standing not too far away. Shen was still in his usual attire with his mask on his face and cloak. However, Urahara wasted no time pulling his Zanpakuto out of its cane-like sheath.
"I won't let you interfere." Pointing the tip of the blade towards Shen. "Oh, relax, I have other plans. I'm not interested in your little portal besides with the time dilation they could already be in Soul Society as we speak." Hearing Shen Urahara lowered his sword to his side but continued to remain on guard.
"Then what do you want? I know you have an interest in Ichigo, although the reason why isn't clear." Shen chuckled. "So you've been studying me how nice." Urahara started to walk around wand continued to speak.
"You're undetectable by normal means however it doesn't seem you can sense Reiatsu either. Surprisingly your body isn't spiritual, but even so, you can see and interact with Shinigami and Hollows alike. Also, your abilities don't rely on a Zanpakuto nor a Resurreccion all in all your a bundle of mystery." Urahara continued to walk around Shen, not letting his eyes off him for a moment.
"However, you do have a considerable weakness." This time Shen was shocked. "Well, do tell." Shen was interested in what Urahara had found. "Due to your inability to sense Reiatsu, I have to guess you rely on another method to sense the things around you. However, other than that ability, you would have to rely on your eyes. And the funny thing about Reiatsu..."
Urahara stopped moving, standing in his original position when Shen had arrived. "It can be tough to see when your opponent is laying a trap." Hearing him, Shen has looked around as Urahara slammed his Zanpakuto into the ground.
With no warning, an octagon shape glowed on the ground. It was at that moment Shen realized what had happened. 'I didn't even notice he's good.' Still even being trapped in the barrier, Shen didn't panic whatsoever. Urahara removed his Zanpakuto from the ground once the barrier was fully erected. "Now, then how about you tell me what you're truly after."
Shen knew Urahara planned to interrogate him, but sadly he had no plans to stick around. "Urahara, you are indeed smart, but instead, let me tell you a story. Once there was a man named Minato Nazimaki. He was a genius and prodigy among all in his class." Shen began to speak about Minato, completely ignoring Urahara's question. As for Urahara himself, he listened quietly.
Seeing he wasn't interrupted, Shen spoke again. "Well, since your interested, I will continue. Through many trials, Minato finally reached the pinnacle and became known as the fastest, but he only gained that title through an exceptional technique. Although he wasn't the creator of this technique, he became even more proficient than the original creator."
Looking up at Urahara, Shen could see Urahara's face slowly changing as he spoke. "And what is this technique what does it do?" Urahara was starting to get worried even though Shen was trapped, he was speaking casually as if the barrier didn't exist. "Do you believe in teleportation, Urahara? I'm not talking about super speed or anything like that. I mean instantaneous movement with no range or limits."
"What are you talking about?" Urahara asked as he felt Shen's tone was changing.
"The name of the technique was Flying Thunder God allowed the user to do something that could be deemed impossible it allowed the user to teleport no matter the distance or location." 'Of course, I won't tell you exactly how it works ill let your imagination run wild.' Pausing for a moment, Shen continued
"It was a technique so difficult to master only three people so far have managed to learn it and use it to its full potential. Those people were the creator Tobirama Senju, Minato Namikaze, and..."
Urahara's face changed as Shen spoke the last word slowly. "Me." Urahara only needed a moment to piece everything together in his head and quickly disabled the barrier around Shen, rushing towards him. In that instant, when Urahara was going to reach him, Shen disappeared as if he vanished from reality. Urahara could only stand there looking around before turning back towards the gate.
"Ichigo..."
At this moment, Ichigo and the others had just arrived in Soul Society, landing in the Rukon District. As they all stood up and looked around them, they were confused. Yoruichi, who was in her black cat, observed their surroundings before telling everyone where they were. "This is the Rukon District, all Souls who first arrive in Soul Society."
Explaining further, Yoruichi told them about the different sections of Soul Society. "So the Soul Reapers must live there then? Let's not waste any more time." Ichigo ran forward only to hear Yoruichi tell him to stop. Before Ichigo took another step forward, he felt a grip on his shoulder.
Turning his head, Ichigo's movements froze. "You... What.. What are you doing here." The others, along with Yoruichi, only to see Ichigo being held back by Shen. Other than Uryu, no one here had seen Shen before, and it didn't take Uryu more than a moment to draw his bow. "Take your hands off, Ichigo."
Yoruichi observed Shen. 'How did he? I didn't see him coming.' She had a description of what Shen looked like however she couldn't possibly have expected him to appear in Soul Society with him not being a Shinigami.
"Relax, I'm not here to fight any of you... Yet." Shen took his hands off of Ichigo's shoulder, backing away with his hands up. "Besides, I'm not the one you need to worry about being quick Shen knocked Ichigo forwards with his leg. Good luck." Suddenly from the sky, massive pieces of a wall came crashing down. Looking up, Shen pulled out a Kunai throwing as hard as he could.
Before it was clear, Kunai couldn't hold up to the force he used to throw them, and that was even truer now. The Kuanai's speed outran the walls as they came crashing down while slowly breaking apart Shen wasted no time and used the Flying Thunder God Technique the moment it crossed the boundary as the Kunai finally broke into pieces.
With that, Shen had successfully entered the Seireitei. 'Well, that was easier than I thought it would be.'
On the other side of the wall, Ichigo couldn't believe what he had seen. 'How did he get into Soul Society this makes no sense.' Uryu was wondering the same thing as the others who had not met Shen yet could only wonder who he was.

Aizen_Dleitch Finally, Shen has entered Soul Society it took 15 chapters! Anyway, you were probably hoping to see the 'Deadly Combination' well not yet though I will drop hints through his actions in the future.
Also sorry about not posting yesterday I was visiting my grandparents. Hope you enjoyed the chapter none the less.
