Chapter 29: Chapter 23: memories
Strolling down the mostly isolated streets. Shadows conquered the untampered narrow streets. The ravens slepth under the roaring shadows. The battle rages indefinitely.
On the other side, the weakened sunlight flee. The sun god burst violently. Commanding his intimidating warriors to assault from various angle. Changing his tactics as the battle starts to stale.
No matter the damage, no matter the havoc, the shadows shall always rise and so does he.
He, a man as handsome as a peacock, as mighty as a phoenix, as daunting as a dragon, shall arise. He, who disgues from others, walk in the face of men, unattended, inattention.
However this fate would soon change forever.
He, who was tall and mysterious, knocked over the shoulder of a little girl who had eyes as pure as gold. Her eyes spontaneously turned red, lust filled once more. She looked at he and uttered silently: "Father..."
In the eyes of a true god, nothing can escape not even light. Maybe it was pain, maybe it was symphony. All Emyrs could do was hugged the once innocent girl tightly. She laments and wonder quietly, walking in her own imaginary world all by herself.
It was for but a while before the world returns some parts of her former self to her, forgetting everything that has just unveiled in front of her eyes. Be it god will never view her the same, be it her lust never dissipates. However, the fact never change and that's she has changed.

Emrys: Let go...
Alice: Um...
Natsumi: What are you guys lacking behind for?
Emyrs: (pulled Alice with him) Right, coming.
Natsumi: Look, look, look at all those clothes and accessories!
Sarah: (looking through the glass window, excitedly) This clothes are made by the famous Helen Bevis!
Natsumi: (incredulity) Helen Bevis?! Where? Where?
Sarah: (eyes bursting with light) There it is, the ultimate masterpiece, verge of war clothing!
Natsumi: (deep breath) The legendary witch of the dead clothing!
Emyrs: (muttered) women do really go mad for clothing...
Shopkeeper: (sliced in with glee) You girls really have a good eye. Those clothing are our shop's most prominent ones, I am willing to give it to you girls at a discount price for 18 gold each.
Sarah & Natsumi: 18 gold each?!
Shopkeeper: It is made by the great Helen Bevis after all, it is definitely going to be pricey.
Sarah & Natsumi: (looking back and forth, lost) Erm...
Emyrs: (handled the situation) 36 gold, here. (passed the gold to the shopkeeper)
Shopkeeper: (turned around with a greedy smile) Thank you great sir, please test it out young ladies. If you are unsatisfied our shop will return the pay.
Natsumi: (Hastily rushed on) Thanks for paying for us!
Sarah: (hesitant) Are you sure about that, Leader.
Emyrs: (lightly grin) Don't worry about it, try it out. It would nice on you.
Sarah: (bowed her head) Thank you, I will pay at a later date.
Emyrs: (Turned back to Alice, who has a pair of covetous eyes) You want to test some out?
Alice: Can I?
Emyrs: Yeah, just grab the one you like.
Alice: (hopped off happily) Yay!
A whole 10 minutes later...
Sarah and Natsumi came pack with their respectable clothing, or should I say "costumes".
First up it was Sarah.
The costume was the "verge of war". A military style uniform that has a tint of bravery and a lot of calmness filled in it. Pure white gloves over her delicate snow white hands and a flock of conditioned cantaloupe coloured hair that fades towards the shade of blue, she stands firmly under the gazes that struck onto her. With her ocean blue eyes of pessimistic and a captivating soft smile. She will stand above all, she will conquer it all.
Sarah: How is it?
Emyrs: (nodded his head) Glamorous and charming. Gives a tranquil feeling to do who looks at you.
Sarah: Thank you.
At this time Natsumi came and hugged Sarah from behind before letting go to let others elaborate on her beauty.
Natsumi on with the "witch of the dead" costume. An emergence of a cross between a victorian style ridged ballerina dress and an endearing maid costume, filling the area with a merry vibrant orange atmosphere that shine just as bright as her costume. A cheerful smile and a pair of coveted lapis blue eyes, alluring the soul of any man that dares to take a glimpse at her.
Natsumi: (making a slow full turn with an enchanting twinkle) So, how do I look?
Emyrs: (In a straight tone) Very beautiful. [Seriously bro? That's it?! That's all you could say???]
Natsumi: (Silently disappointed) [You should have beaten him up like Rus- oh, wait you can't...]
A few moments of awkward silence.
Alice timidly walked right up to them. She wore a red royal kimono. Simple yet refined. Natsumi was ragging to end this awkward silence and Alice came just when she needs. She turns only to be nonplussed by a subtle difference that she noticed.
Sarah: (noticed the same thing) Alice, what happens to your eye? It has changed.
Natsumi: (sighed in relief) I thought my eyes are playing a fool to me.
Alice: (???)
Emyrs: Your eye has turned red. It happened when we were walking down the streets, do you remember anything?
Alice: My eye? I... I don't remember.
Emyrs: (lost in deep thought) I see...
Natsumi: It doesn't matter, (shrugged it off with her hand and grabbed Alice) let's shop for more goodies! Leader, it's on you! Hehe...
Their shadows fade into the distance.
Sarah: Leader, are you sure about letting-
Emyrs: (still lost in deep thoughts)
Sarah: He's not listening... .
Sarah stood in front of Emyrs and pinched his face. He didn't flinch, Sarah's cheek puffed and pinched him even harder yet the response was as disappointing as the first.
Emyrs: Can't make a conclusion yet, I need more information...
Shopkeeper: (at the right time) That would be 21 gold, sir.
Emyrs passed the 21 gold without a second thought and left.
Emyrs: (noticed) Sarah, what are you standing therefore? Come on, lets go.
Sarah: (muttered to herself) Am I invisible to you...?
She briskly followed.
