A guardian who watches over her in her sleep.
Yui is in total slumber, unaware of her surroundings. A guy carefully get inside in her room and come near her quietly making sure not to make any noise that will wake her up. He picked up the phone on the bed and put it on the bedside table. Then he carefully get the dog on her loose embrace and change it with a pillow. He place the dog on it's small bed on the floor.
The man looked at her with gentle and loving eyes. How long did he watched her in her sleep? Long after her Biological brother took her over to Sato's custody. By then he started watching over her while she's sleeping. Afraid of something might happen again. He knew very well that this girl is a heavy sleeper. Well except if there's storm and typhoons. But still he didn't want to take a risk and just watch her quietly until she wakes up in the morning.
Yui value her privacy. Her brothers knew that. That's why they allowed her to live on her own. Give her, her own new house that every girl dreamed to have. But to their dismay Yui didn't want to live there. Instead she went back to her old apartment where she and her husband used to share before. She always wants to be alone in her mini castle. That's why he and his brothers do something that for sure when she found it out she will hate them. They rebuild the secret passage of her room for them to sneak in anytime without anyone noticing it, like now.
Wearing only an oversized shirt just reached half of her thighs, Her legs were exposed in clear view. He carefully tuck her in the blanket before his mind gone wild. He never get aroused nor having a desire to anyone but her. Sometimes he really afraid of her to be alone with him. Afraid he might lose his control. He never had a woman in his life even though on his line of living women are just throwing themselves to his bed. He tried once, like what his friend said but even the women already naked in front of him even though they're virgin and looked innocent. He never felt anything but disgust. Thinking that he's cheating on his wife with just this kind of women makes him panic and worried that he might hurt her.
He looked at her face. He brushes away a strand of her hair that covers her face. She's sleeping like a baby. He smiled while he thought this. She may not be the most beautiful woman he saw but she has an exquisite beauty that no man can resist. He lightly caresses her face. He smiled in amusement when he saw her red nose. He gently poke it playfully. Yui pout on her sleep that makes him laugh inside him but froze instantly.
He's eyes fell on her pouting lips. His thumb move on the side of it and feels it lightly. The urge of kissing her is too strong that he never know his body bend over and move his face closer to her. But when his lips is about an inch closer to hers, he stops. Instead he move up and kiss her on her forehead. It's not that he knows her brother Jake leaning at the door and watching him. He just doesn't allow himself taking advantage to her while she's sleeping and not aware.
When he sure everything is fine now, he turned off the lights and just let the dim light on the wall lightens the room. When he walked away to go outside, he was right Jake is there. He feel his presence there even without looking. One ability he proudly have is his high alerted scenes that save him many times. He walk pass through to his friend and go straight to the mini living room. While Jake closed the door behind quietly.
"Aren't you worried that you reveal yourself to that woman?" Jake asked as he give him a glass of whiskey from her sister's wine collection.
"Nope.." He said casually.
"You know that woman is not ordinary. The twins are still investigating her and her connection to them. Aren't you afraid they will find out who you really are?"
"That's exactly my point. If they manage to find out who and what I am. Then they will probably know who's their messing up." He takes a sip of his drink. "I have enough of their scheme. My wife suffered too much because of him. I already give way for him when I saw she's happy having him. But after what he has done. He will come back now and claim her again like he has never done anything to her.!" His voice is low yet cold and full of hatred and anger. This guy loses his control whenever his wife is involved. That's how he loves his wife.
"Why don't you just **** her." Jake suggested like he just said an ordinary suggestion.
Josh choke on his drinks upon hearing this. "What?!!!.. You Demon!!!! You call yourself her brother and yet you are advising me to do that?!!!"
"I'm just kidding you know." He said nonchalantly.
"Well my friend.. Joking is not your Forte. It's like a death threat whenever you joke around." Josh removed his shirt that accidentally soiled by his drinks. "And besides.. For sure you're going to kill me in an instant when I do that."
"Well.. I'm not going to kill you but beat you maybe until you can't use your body and not run away to her." He poured his glass with drinks. "That's the only way I can think to consume your marriage and become legally husband and wife."
"Coming from the guy who reluctantly accepted my engagement before?" Josh raised his brows in amusement. "I remember back then you keep on asking me if I'm really sure when I accepted the betrothal when your sister was born. And ask me the same question when we got married when she's just merely two years old?. Honestly I was so amazed when your parents made it. I mean we are the youngest couple who got married at the age of 2 and 6."
"That's how my father works. Saotori always get what Saotori wants without any exception." Jake proudly said. "Let me just say.. I'm worried that you're just forcing yourself in that situation. What if you found a woman you really like and fell in love eventually. You can't have her when you're already tied up to an unwanted marriage."
"You're worried at me if I'll find other women to fall in love with. What about your sister? Aren't you thinking the same thing to her?"
"My sister is different from your situation. A Saotori is always loyal and true towards their partner. I'm sure she will be loyal and faithful to you. Like how I'm sure you won't hurt her the moment you accept to marry her." Jake loosen his tie. "You see all these years she stay faithful and loyal to that bastard!. She never entertain any suitors or love confession even that guy left her without a word." Jake pause for a moment. "I'm sure she will do the same if she finally remembers you. And accept you as her husband."
"Don't you think that time will still come?" For the first time in his life. Josh feels insecurity.
"Patience buddy. Sooner or later we will find out what really happened to her back then when Miko entrust her to the wrong person when he just wants her safety as they escape to those people."
"Mnn.. I know that guy won't stop until he didn't find those couples who sold his precious sister. I heard they already have some leads."
"Yeah.. I let that matter to him since all these years he's blaming himself for losing her for a long time." Jake stood up. "I need to go now. My wife is waiting for me. Is everything settled for tomorrow?"
"Yup.. I already endorse all my work to your wife. I'm sure you won't give her a hard time like what you did to me as your assistant. She can handle your unreasonable temper for sure." Josh smile at him.
"Yeah.. I'm sick of seeing you every morning at the office maybe this time with my wife around my work will be done smoothly." Jake smile back to him. "I know that even if I don't say it you will do it with all your life but still, take care of her while you two are there."
"I will." Josh stand up and walk him to the secret passage. When they reach the end of the tunnel Jake looked back at him before entering his car.
"What I said a while ago is not a joke. I mean it. It's time for you to move and stop being foolish waiting for her memories to come back before you claim her as your wife." Jake get in the car but before he close the door, he added. "Just let me know if you will do it so I can tell it to those guys and won't act exaggeratedly." Then he left as the car drove away. Leaving him amused and astounded.
