Chapter 33: Ch. 2.7 Alpha
Holding the small body of his mate, Adryan scaled the second floor of his house, putting the little one in the comfortable bed. He is really curious about his mate's life but seeing him sleeping so peacefully. Adryan decided that the questioning can wait.
Besides he still have many things to do, now that he had found him, he wants the best of security for him. He might be the strongest man alive but he still have many enemy and Zyair being his mate would surely attracted their attention. He will be his weak spot and become a target to them.
Getting on his study, calling all his staffs and security personnel for a briefing. With him in this house, he wants to eliminate all the spy once and for all. This puny beta and alpha would never hurt him but they might do something to his mate. Better to do it now than to be late.
"I gather you all today for a small briefing, My mate is currently sleeping at the second floor as I speak. His safety is the first and foremost is very important." Catching a glimpse to those who are a spy in his household. He is not a ignorant fool, Trying to spy on me? ridiculous!
"Home should be a place full of loyal staffs, Home is a place where you can relax and not think about your safety. And I'm doing just that, starting right now!"
"Edmond, kill all the traitors!" He shouts, looking at his second in command, his most loyal subordinate.
"Please Alpha, we are so sorry, give us another chance and we will be loyal to you!" Different pleading voice can be heard in his study. Adryan dismissed his other personnel, returning to their duty. Only the traitors remained in his library, kneeling on his feet.
Adryan nod giving his signal, knowing well that nothing good would come if he somehow pity them. Betrayal? Deception? He knew that word to well.
Seeing his signal, his security team go on a killing spree. Everything is done in a minute, the only person still standing is a small beta cowering in the corner. "Wait! don't kill him yet"
"What's your name?" Adryan asked, looking at the little beta making it flinch.
"T-ti-m, sir" He stammers, bowing his head.
"Edmond, Who is his boss?" glancing at my assistant.
"Mister Masha, Alpha, he died two months ago."
"Mmm.. Let him live, he will be my mate's assistant. Give him to the butler to be educated properly." Dismissing them in the process.
Adryan look at the sleeping face of his mate, so innocent. Running his finger through the hair strands illiciting a groan of protest making him chuckle.
He is a little thin but I will make sure that he will be taken care for, Adryan thinking to himself pressing his body body to the smaller man making him curled into his warmth, mumbling something incoherent about nothing in particular.
Smelling the sweet scent and feeling the small and soft body in his embrace, feel sleep, smiling softly in a contented manner. At last, his mate had arrived.
