Ch. 1.20 Recorder
Bang! Bang!
A sound of gun shot sky rocketed at Kaidan's House, at the same time a loud object falling can be heard on the floor. The rug absorbing some of the noise.
"Sir, are you okay? We come here as soon as we receive your distress signal." a worried voice of a man asked, looking at Kaidan, checking if he had some injuries.
"I'm okay officer. I'm Kaidan Felix, the missing person, that man kidnapped me and hold me in my house against my will." kaidan said, pointing at Miles laying on the floor, blood can be seen flowing from his side.
Paramedics quickly rush Miles out of the hospital after making sure that kaidan is safe, tending to his cut in the face. The police stays back, questioning on what really happens.
"Thank you again for saving me officer. I can't really talk about the kidnapping incident right now. I'm too afraid to even think or remember what really happens. I have a voice recorder in my pants, Just take it." giving his recorder to the officer. Wearily sitting down on the sofa.
"Are you really okay? We will take you to the hospital if you want?" the police officer offered. Bagging the recorder.
Shaking his head as a refusal "I'm fine officer, please do call my boyfriend for me. He will help me with what I experience"
After an hour, the police are done on getting all the footage and evidence. Every nook and cranny of the house is search. Kaidan give all the evidence he have in his safe keeping, promising the officer that after taking a psychological counselling he will stand in the court for Miles incarceration.
"Your boyfriend is on the way, two of us will wait for him to come before going in our way. We will call and inform you on miles hearing in court." The officer said, double checking the lock of his apartment. They even straightened the chairs and the furniture making his house more livable.
his rugs and the cover of the sofa, all stripped out, Miles blood ruined it.
"Are you okay?" James concerned voice, rushing in and briskly walking towards kaidan.
"I'm fine! The paramedics tend to my wound already, my face may look like a bit swollen but it's just bruise." Kaidan's feeble voice, he again make James worry.
"Come, I'll take you to the hospital." Holding the man in his arm, intending to go to the hospital to get him checked.
Kaidan shook his head "No! No! Just take me home, I don't like it in here." he said, refusing James, getting down from his arms.
"I will call the doctor then. Let's go back. We will sold this house and starts again." he is really not comfortable that Kaidan doesn't want to go to the hospital. Looking at his bruised and swollen face, he really want to kill Miles. That man had the gall to lay his hand on his lover, when he himself cannot even bring himself to even pinch Kaidan.
He again carry kaidan in his arms. Ignoring the man's cry of refusal. "Be good, I'll carry you down."
"I can walk! My face is bruised not my feet!" kaidan said, indignation in his face. The man is treating him like an invalid person. The police officer is even watching. His image as a man goes down to the drain.
"I know! I just want to hold you. Don't protest." nodding at the police officer at the door, "Thank you for coming here on time officer." giving his heartfelt thanks.
"We are just doing our job. The press are all over the place, we will escort you on going down."
"I come from a helicopter, it is waiting for us on the rooftop. But we will be thankful if you escort us up, the tenants and the owners, even some press is in the rooftop."
The rooftop is full of people, press snapping pictures and videos, tenants and owners of the units are gossiping, asking what happens. The gun shot coming from the pent house together with the paramedics alert them.
" Can we ask what really happen officer?"
"Who is the person, being rush in the hospital?"
Different questions are being asked by the two officer making James covers Kaidan's face, Putting him down and embracing him face on his chest, they continue on their way, intending to go to the helicopter before someone will recognise him.
"Look, James Williams" from the crowd, someone shout making all the people look at them. In a minute, the press swarm on their direction.
"Why are you here?"
"Who is that in your arms?"
"Do you know what really happened?"
James stays silent, making sure that Kaidan's face is not photograph. He just shook his head when someone ask him a question refusing to talk.
With the help of his team, the two officer and the security guard of the establishment, they keep the people at bay making the two go up in the helicopter.
